Přibylová, Petra ; Randáková, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the task of external audit of intangible and tangible assets. The aim of the work is to set definition of external audit, functions and aims of audit and define legislation concerning external audit and profession of auditor. Next step is to give a practical view of auditor's procedure connected with intangible and tangible assets. For the sake of completeness one chapter gives attention to definiton of intangible and tangible assets. The PXA270M ARM module and its usage as private branch exchange
Vojtíšek, Jindřich ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Daněček, Vít (advisor)
This work deals with using the operating system Linux on diskless devices. This is solved on the development kit Voipac PXA270M, which is based on the ARM processor. This work deals further with the distributions of the Linux operating system, which are suitable to use for the device based on the ARM processor. The Linux was chosen because it is one of the most flexible operating systems and the Linux is kept as open source software code, except to the distribution of the Red hat and a few special distributions. The NFS protocol and TFTP are described there. The TFTP and NFS are used to deploy the operating system. It describes there, what are the TFTP and NFS and the principle of their use in computer networks. Practical part is as to, what is needed for the functioning of the TFTP and NFS server on the Ubuntu 11.10 plus how configure them. The OpenOCD is another part of this work. The OpenOCD is designed to work in the device memory. There is shown how to install and run the OpenOCD in order to communicate with the development kit Voipac PXA270M. This work shows how to configure the bootloader U-boot for booting the operating system from the network using the NFS and TFTP. There is described how compile and install PBX Asterisk on Voipac PXA270M with use of cross compiler and how cross compile zlib, OpenSSL and ncurses needed to install nad run Asterisk.

Marketing and advertising within Social software
Veselský, Štěpán ; Pavlíček, Antonín (advisor) ; Bouška, Jan (referee)
Internet users have noticed its marketing capabilities right after its creation. First, the traditional methods, well known from the classical media, have been used. Therefore, the main marketing communication channels were - mostly static - advertising banners and different press releases on web pages according to its contents. The true expansion of Internet marketing came into being with interactive websites, where its users are the main creators of its content, they can log in by their names, create their own profiles and altogether create social webs. That is websites described as Web 2.0 As time passed, various marketing tools have appeared to promote different products, to work on good relationship with customers and to offer tailor-made content to each individual. Social software gathers together huge amounts of people that want to share their lives, hobbies, favorite music etc. with the rest of the world. This way, they are a perfect place for market targeting. This work defines Social software as a part of Web 2.0, presents the most usual tools of Internet marketing and in the last part, they are shown on particular examples inside Social software.

Framework for teaching Database Management Systems on VŠE Praha
Turčín, Pavel ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Palovská, Helena (referee)
This thesis focuses on design and subsequent realization of e-learning support for the database management systems course. The first step is definition of the e-learning itself as well as other related concepts. Following part analyzes current status of teaching and evaluating students' knowledge and other possible ways to do so without changing the basic course frame defined by the given syllabus. A list of requirements on the software framework is made on basis of this analysis. These requirements are technical (demanded functionality) and economical (costs of installation and maintenance). The most suitable e-learning system is chosen according to these requirements. The chosen system unfortunately does not fulfill all specified requirements and software witch does, is not available. In this case the following step is design and realization of such software. At first are all requirements specified in detail. The software solution is designed as three independently usable applications: Exercise client, Test client and Administrator. Software is implemented in C# programming language. Whole process of implementation is divided into three increments witch corresponds with projected applications. Every increment adds new functionality to existing solution and the output of every increment is fully usable component.

Mass Mailing Solution application and converting to a multi-tenant application
Suk, Miroslav ; Burkoň, Lukáš (advisor) ; Feuerlicht, Jiří (referee)
The aim of this bachelor paper is to describe possibilities of converting a specific web application for one specific client (tenant) to a web application which is accessible to more clients (tenants) at a time. One part of the paper deals with theoretical aspects of the design of multi-tenant applications, and another part is focused on the practical realization of changes in the given application. The paper is divided into seven chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the current situation and purposes of the paper. The next two chapters deal with theoretical aspects of Saas, CRM, CRM software and newsletter application. Furthermore, they deal with classification of the realized application between the CRM software and the newsletter application. The following two chapters describe the realization of the specific application from the client's requirements over design modification to the implementation itself. Chapter 6 is focused on ways of solving the web multi-tenant application design and, finally, chapter 7 is focused on choosing the best method of model application and on the proposal of procedure realization.

Energy evaluation of apartment building.
Fečer, Tomáš ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Adam, Pavel (advisor)
A goal of this Master's Thesis is an energy audit of an apartment building situated in Brno, the southmoravian region. The theoretical part is focused on a Czech Republic legislation, methods of an energy evaluation of houses and injurants of an internal microclimate. In the next part the main focus is on a processing of the energy audit of the apartment building. One of details of this processing is a design of precautions. From these, variants are created, focusing to choose the most economical and ecological one. The last part of this Master's Thesis is devoted to an usage of available software applications. Here are described computer programs, used for a creation of a 3D model. Also, a description of a calculation of thermal loses and the calculation of coefficients of heat transfer using a quasi-stationary technique is present. At the end a detailed description of one year simulation of the apartment building is provided.

Business Intelligence in Healthcare - Data Mining Techniques as a Possible Hospital Management Tool in Austria
Schmied, Marten ; Štěrbová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Mevenkamp, Nils (referee)
Public healthcare provision is under increasing economic restraints making an efficient and sustainable managerial planning a necessity in the hospital sector. Business Intelligence is the extraction of business relevant knowledge in order to adjust and refine executive operations. On the free market industries have applied the according methods and software dedicated to the generation of Business Intelligence is offered by variety of companies. Data Mining, furthermore, describes the facilitation of algorithms in order to train programs to detect unseen patterns from huge amounts of data. Therefore mining techniques are suitable for adding to the business relevant knowledge, particularly as they can produce more accurate predictions. The thesis examined the status of Information Technology normally utilized in Austrian hospitals and simultaneously identified studies that apply Data Mining to a Hospital Information System to gain Business Intelligence. While the general level of Austrian Hospital Information Systems is well sophisticated, common challenges are present in a separation between clinical and administrative systems and their interfaces. For the Data Mining a majority of studies aims at medical improvements. Some applications were found to have good business relevant prospects but their feasible introduction into the practice needs additional fostering.

Mobile data collection of CPI (Consumer Price Index) and its potential for future development.
Adamec, Marcel ; Šilerová, Edita (advisor) ; Hřebejková, Jana (referee)
My bachelor work focuses on the issue of collecting statistical data used for computing the consumer price index (CPI). The theoretical part deals with explaining concepts related to the purpose of the index, a mechanism for data collection and monitoring. The practical part describes the process leading to the introduction of mobile data collection technology, its development and estimates the consequences of introducing new technology into practice with a focus on the user. Questionnaire survey among interviewers revealed satisfaction with the software solution. Additional poll verified indicated problems with their workload. Evaluation of the results of the suvey and analysis of time records led to the proposal of organizational measures and implementation of technological elements leading to improving the quality of data collected, increasing the efficiency and user experience.
