Hallucinogenic and other drugs as cultural phenomenon

The subject of the work is a culturological theoretical-empirical analysis of two mutually connected and related topics: l-Hallucinogenic and other drugs, their consumption-abuse and addiction 2- Prevention of abuse of hallucinogenic and other drugs - forms of prevention and content. The subject of the dissertation is the problems associated with hallucinogenic and other drugs and their interpretation in the context of factors "hallucinogenic drugs, the individual and environment-society". The dissertation will be a culturological analysis including professional contributions on the problems concerning a subject which spans multiple fields. The goal of the dissertation is to give culturological contribution both for multiple fields discusion and practical prevention Acceptance of findings and observations from other fields is therefore essential, as is finding central points and common ground for co-operation with other desired fields. The work has two parts - a theoretical part and a practical one. The theoretical section will include an analysis of three basic levels in the consumption of hallucinogenic and other drugs. Registered partnership and its potential property consequences

72 Zajímavá je také stať pojednávající o vypořádání se jiných evropských zemí se soužitím stejnopohlavních párů. Vybrala jsem země, které jsou z tohoto hlediska nějakým způsobem zajímavé, ať už zvoleným modelem legalizace homosexuálních svazků nebo prvenstvím v zakotvení registrovaného partnerství do svého právního řádu. Zastavila jsem se i u velmi kontroverzní otázky týkající se osvojení a adopce dětí. Domnívám se, že naše společnost se teprve nedávno stala otevřenější k homosexuální menšině a prokázala přijetím zákona o registrovaném partnerství určitou dávku tolerance. Tato problematika bude podle mého názoru ještě velmi diskutována na půdě Parlamentu ČR a ve společnosti jako takové. Domnívám se, že uzákonění soužití dvojic stejného pohlaví má nepochybně kladné důsledky, a to nejen v ohledu stabilizace partnerských vztahů občanů, kteří se rozhodli uzavřít registrované partnerství, ale i v některých ekonomických, právních a sociálních otázkách partnerů. Analysis of technical provisions in non-life insurance

Technical provisions represent the liabilities of the insurance company to its clients. In contrast to other liabilities the exact volume of technical provisions is not predetermined. This thesis is focused on technical provisions in non-life insurance, mainly on claims provisions, that are the most significant type of provisions in non-life classes of business. The aim is to analyse methods leading to the estimate of the value of ultimate claims arising from insurance events, that happened during the given time period. Claims provision is the part of ultimate claims, that has not already been paid. The speciality of some insurance classes as well as several factors, that may influence the correct estimate of claims provisions, are also analysed. The goal of this thesis is to present various possible ways, how to deal with these factors in order to prevent distortions of the estimate of ultimate claims. Finally the evaluation of the exactness of estimates and consequences, that the incorrect estimate may cause, are presented.

Finance and accounting of allowance organizations in factual conditions of health care institutions

Allowance organizations are included among non-profit associations whose operation, method of financing and accounting are different from other economic entities. First chapter focuses on non-profit associations, legal regulations of allowance organizations and general definition of public health care institutions. Next two chapters are devoted to financing and accounting of allowance organizations. Financial relations of allowance organizations with their founders, agenda of money funds, general system of accounting for allowance organization and selected specifics of accounting are mentioned in these chapters. Last chapter is dedicated to financing and accounting of health care institutions, including demonstration of described regularities on factual health care institution - the allowance organization Hospital Ivančice.

Jataka Stories - Legendary Biographies of Gautama Buddha in the Jatakatthavannana

This thesis deals with the possible interpretations of the jātaka stories (Buddhist sacred biographies genre). The author focuses on the Jātakatthavannana collection, part of the Pali canon, which is an important text for early and Theravada Buddhism. A characteristic feature of the jātaka is that Siddhartha Gautama of the Śākya clan, better known under his title Buddha, tells us about his previous births, in which He is called Bodhisattva. In accord with Buddhist cosmology, Bodhisattva is born in different forms: as human, animal and mythical creatures. In the jātaka stories symbolic links can be seen to the psychological, social, ethical, political, religious and philosophical themes of cultures in which they were told. In the early jātaka motives known from fables and mythologies of other cultures are also found. Their meaning, however, is given another shade or is completely different. The semantic value of themes is largely determined by the position they have in the configuration of relations between symbols, which is different for different cultures (as is shown by the author on a particular case). Cost and break-even analysis of bored tunnel of Metrostav a.s.

The bachelor thesis discusses cost analysis, cost functions, revenues and profit, the break-even analysis and related decision problems. The topic of this study is important to every manufacturing company. The general theoretical basis subsequently tend to concrete problem-solving, including calculations, graphic representations and verbal explanations. The theoretical part of this work presents potential approaches to the description of basic economic values and examines correlations of these values. Problems described in theoretical part are applicated on a project currently executed by public limited company Metrostav, it is a tunnel construction known as ,,Construction 0079 Špejchar -- Pelc -- Tyrolka -- bored tunnels". There have to be made some important decisions about the basic time, technological and other variables before calculations. Determination of variable and fixed costs is based on the Classificational Analysis, necessary information about costs are included in cost calculations. Revenues are calculated from the investment budget for the tunnel project. Break -- even point is calculated for the three geological categories of rock, which differ with dificulties of boring. The thesis is focused also on various types of decision problems such as number of running metres, that is necessary to bore to achieve required profitability or determination of profit and profitability achieved by the target monthly performance in particular geological boring categories. The calculated outputs are summarized and compared, the conclusions and recommendations for a further use of the outputs in the whole process of tunnel boring are described. The procedures used for the calculation of the break--even point and making decisions about related problems can be generalised and used in similar tunnel projects, or more precisely in all line construction projects carried out by the Metrostav.

Perspectives of Eurasian Union developement.

Collapse of Soviet Union caused a snap in relations between ex-soviet states, but simultaneously started the new wave of integration collaboration. This wave brings us such integrations as CIS, EurAsEC, Customs Union, Common Economic Space. Eurasian union, which is planning to become fully functional in 2015, becomes the most real of what happened in this field before. Main goal of diploma thesis is to find out, how could Eurasian union work in connection with organization moments of other deep integrations. Can Eurasian union become a deep integration? Other goal is to find out economic possibilities of integration development due to results of research, and suggest improvements of present situation. Last goal is to discover the way of developing of external trade policy and to determine the role of Eurasian union in the world.

How to Teach Ethics at the Second Stage of Primary School.

This thesis describes the ethical education of pupils 10-15 years old which in our country is taught either separately or within the framework of different subjects. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of the definition of ethical education, the basic characteristics of 10-15 years old children and also defines the fundamental developmental features that are essential for ethical education. It also deals with the theoretical principles for ethical education and explains the concept of reflexion. Information regarding general educational programmes is included, with special emphasis towards the overlaping topics of personal and social development and their close relationship to ethical education. The practical section of the thesis informs about the different methods of teaching ethical education in specified Czech schools and presents the fundamental general findings regarding the teaching. In comparing the four separate curricula this thesis tries to gain better understanding of the problems. The research mainly aimes at the fields of targets and methodology.

Mathematical Programs for Dynamic Pricing - Demand Based Management

Tato disertační práce se zabývá vývojem, modelováním a analýzou poptávkově orientovaných úloh, které zahrnují marketingová, operační a logistická rozhodnutí. Úlohy jsou zvoleny tak, aby mohly být dále rozšířeny o koncept tzv. dynamického oceňování a jiných dynamických marketingových rozhodnutí. V práci jsou využity dvě základní poptávkově orientované úlohy: a) úloha kolportéra novin, která je zvolena pro její jednoduchou formu a která tak slouží jako nástroj pro ilustrativní ukázky rozhodovacích procesů v podobných typech úloh, a b) úloha návrhu dopravní sítě, kde jsou využity některé výsledky a znalosti získané při řešení úlohy kolportéra novin. Kolportér (či obecně maloobchodník) čelí náhodné poptávce, která může být postupně ovlivněna oceňováním, marketingovými (tj. reklamními) rozhodnutími a nakonec jejich kombinací. Poptávka obsahuje tedy náhodnou složku, která je pomocí přístupů stochastické optimalizace modelována ve specifickém tvaru (tj. aditivní či multiplikativní tvar). Závislost cena-poptávka je zachycena pomocí nelineární klesající poptávkové funkce, zatímco (vhodná) reklama vede ke zvýšení poptávky (běžně rostoucí s-křivka či konkávní funkce). Výsledky získané při řešení úlohy kolportéra novin s oceňováním jsou následně využity v úloze návrhu dopravní sítě. Tato stochastická úloha je modelována (reformulována) pomocí dvou přístupů stochastické optimalizace: wait-and-see přístup a here-and-now přístup. Jelikož tato implementace vede na lineární či nelineární celočíselnou (navíc scénářovou) úlohu, jsou v práci zmíněny taky výpočetní nástroje. Autor pro řešení používá (původní) tzv. hybridní algoritmus, což je kombinace heuristického (genetického) algoritmu a nástroje optimalizačního softwaru. Potenciální aplikace sestavených modelů, obzvláště v oblasti odpadového hospodářství, jsou diskutovány v závěrečné části disertační práce.
