This Bachelor Thesis describes the possibilities of social networks and while using the quantitative analysis it assesses these networks for business purposes. It consists from two parts. The theoretical one concerns in the environment of social networks, in Facebook above all. Subsequently, it discusses statistical terms and methods of data processing. In the practical part, there are the data of number of Facebook users in the Czech Republic in the period between 12/2009-1/2012 processed. The necessary data were collected from the released data of ČSÚ (the Czech Statistical Office).

Proposal of Measures for Risk Reduction in the Company JOSA KOVO s.r.o.

Diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of selected process of company JOSA KOVO s.r.o. and on the detection of selected risks. Acquired knowledge from the theoretical part is utilized for the application of selected risk analysis method in the practical part. Detection of risks will be performed with the use of analysis of internal and external company environment and risk analysis method. Identified risks will be evaluated and with the use of acquired knowledge there will be made a proposal of recommendations and measures, which will lead to reduction of risks. Diploma thesis provides a comprehensive view of measuring and reducing risks in business environment, in terms of theoretical methods and also practical application for a selected company.

The impact of the global crisis 2008-2009 on the real sector of the German economy

The Bachelor thesis deals with the effects of the global crisis 2008-2009 on the German economy. The German economy was badly hit by the crisis 2008-2009. This crisis started in the United States and had a negative impact on financial markets as well as on the real sector of the German economy. The decrease took note of the most important sectors of German economy such as engineering, automotive and chemical industry. The crisis made it difficult for building and business activities too. The unemployment was rising. In response to this situation, the German government responded by adopting two stimulus packages which should try to stop the decline of the economy and to re-stabilize it. Adopted emergency measures were focused on supporting of business, automotive industry and on the strengthening of investment activities as well. The measures taken by the government contributed in its consequences to overcoming the crisis and it there was a re-growth of GDP, foreign trade and recovery of industrial production as well as business activities in 2010.

Illegal migration and detentism in Czech republic

Economical prosperity vs. expulsion and detention centres create a connected system of push and pull factors that characterises current f10w of ilIegal migration. The Czech Republic has become a targeted country of ilIegal migrants shortly after the falI of communism in the late eighties of the last century. However for many of ilIegal migrants, it is stilI a transitive country on their way further west. The study deals with the impact of the EU entry on numbers of detained illegal migrants or asylum seekers in Czech detention centres. It describes living conditions in the biggest and oldest Czech detention centre in Bálková and criticises them. It also analyses situation at the Czech border and concludes that after May 2004 the crossing of illegal migrants has become much easier thanks to the withdrawal of custom tariff controls. The thesis describes Czech practice of deportations and presents relevant statistical data's. Biographical interview s with detained asylum seekers are included as well. The concentration focuses on illegal migrants form China and Ukraine, who create majority of detained inmates. Differences in tax records and accounting of individual entrepreneur

Bachelor thesis is focused on the two most common ways of evidence of economic activity for individual entrepreneurs, double-entry bookkeeping and tax records. The aim of the thesis is to compare these methods of evidence, determine how each are different and define the criteria by which nascent entrepreneurs should decide when choosing the most suitable way of evidence for their business. The first part is devoted to possibilities of individual entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic and the wals of evidence in their business. In the next chapter, accounting and tax records are compared with one another in terms of content, legislation, forms of registration of the individual components of assets and liabilities. The end of chapter compares the obligations associated with the end of the reporting period. The last chapter deals with the transition from tax records to accounting. Summary example illustrates the practical application of tax records and accounting and is used to compare the impact of both records on the tax base.

Dynamics of the nuclear weapons proliferation in countries beside the original group of five

Bachelor thesis "The Dynamics of Nuclear Proliferation in Countries outside of the Original Nuclear Five" deals with nuclear programs in countries that have not signed the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). The theoretical framework is based on the proliferation debate and in particular with focus on Scott Sagan's explanatory models. By application of Sagan's models on three case studies of countries which have not signed the NPT (India, Pakistan, Israel) and two case studies of countries that renounced possession of nuclear weapons (South Africa and Ukraine), the thesis concludes, that the nature of proliferation incentives is in most cases multidimensional and the classic realistic paradigm itself is frequently insufficient to explain the causes of proliferation.

This bachelor thesis designs a business plan for expanding the business activities of self-employed person. In the introduction it describes theoretical knowledge. Afterwards it analyzes current situation of a specific business subject and it proposes several options for funding of an engineering workshop and evaluates the effectiveness of each option for possible investment. In the end the thesis recommends the most profitable solution.

The reason for discussing this subject was its importance for removing the obstacles that double taxation presents to the development of economic relations between countries. The thesis is divided into five chapters. There are six annexes attached that are important to grasp the topic in its complexity. The first chapter is devoted to theoretical questions of double taxation. It is concentrated particularly on issues such as legal framework of taxation, the national and international treatment of double taxation from the point of view of the principle of origin, measures to eliminate double taxation by way of national unilateral measures or international Double Tax Conventions. The end of the chapter presents examples of national double taxation in the Czech Republic. The rest of the thesis discusses international double taxation. It strives to answer three main research questions considering Russia's shifting energeopolitical pivot, Ukraine crisis, and the development of Russia's foreign policy in regard to her energy geopolitics.
