Nepomucký, Josef ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Korbel, Vladimír (referee)
Title (Topíc ofthe thesis): Question of a baton exchange during 4x100 m women Student: Josef Nepomucký Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, PhD. Methods: The methodology of the thesis aimed at the evaluation of the relationship between the athletic performance of the 4x100 metres relay and the member of this relay. The following three methods were applied in the thesis: The first procedure focused on the evaluation of the level of the relay exchange according to Dostál (1985), Vonstein (1988) and Oberste & Wiemeyer (1991). The second one analyzed the running technique in four different parts of the relay before the baton exchange. The third one considered the attitudes towards the practice of the relay exchange given the conditions in athletic clubs. Results: The goal of my thesis was to extend the knowledge of the level of a baton exchange in 4x100 meters women. Based on the video recording of individua! competitions and using questionnaires it is possible to conclude that the level ofpreparation ofwomen's relay team is low. There is no regular and systematic preparation since everything is subordinated to the individua! needs of the sprinter. The relay teams kept the same members with some exceptions. The analyzed relay teams achieved average results throughout the year. After making a comparison...

Legal issues of waste sorting in the Czech Republic in 2015
Pinkasová, Monika ; Kadlecová, Eva (advisor) ; Pavla, Pavla (referee)
To analyze a current legislation of waste management is the main aim of this diploma thesis. It is focused on sorting of municipal waste. Theoretical part deals with historical development of waste management, a present Act on Waste and other special legal regulations. Attention is paid to the Act amendment which includes new obligations about sorting metal and biodegradable municipal waste from January 2015. The next part of this thesis predicts the legislation progress and waste sorting in the future. The results of two surveys are interpreted then. The first one affects public opinion and activity in the sorting of metal and bio-waste. The next one monitors the attitude of municipalities to their new legal obligations in waste treatment. The survey found that one third of citizens does not know new waste sorting methods, so they do not engage in sorting of metal neither bio-waste. There were identified the worst segments, women and young people 18-29 years old. The next detected problem is that the municipalities use a Civic amenity sites in many cases, which are in a great distance from the citizens. There shall be taken new waste-policy measures in the Czech Republic, within this will not be achieved the EU targets for the year 2020.

Distinction in the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu
Knechtlová, Jana ; Dudová, Radka (referee) ; Šubrt, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis called Distinction in Sociological Theory of Pierre Bourdieu is mostly a theoretical writing focused on a description of the distinction mechanism. The main source of information is an almost identically called book written by the above mentioned french sociologist and antropologist, the mechanism of distinction is after a detailled introspection set into a larger context of Bourdieu's theory. In the beginning a few key notions are presented, inclusive of a short biography, introduction of certain sources of inspiration and, most important, the position of Bourdieu's theory within an almost classical dualism of paradigms. The next part describes in full detail some key theoretical notions on which a later understanding of Bourdieu's distinction is based. The mechanism itself is questionned with a particular stress on individual differences not having been captured in previous parts of the text. It is especially the importace of mental pair dualities within the a classifying mental operation and their social consequences, such as a proces of social inclusion, a creation of social identity a complementary running of social exclusion. The above mentioned social processes are above all a consequence of a symbolical violence that socially acting individuals are executing while the classification is...

The alimentary diseases of pet animals
Kohoutová, Monika ; Kodeš, Alois (advisor) ; Hučko, Boris (referee)
Thesis is focused on characteristics of disease, that arised due to bad nutrition of animals. In regards of comprehensiveness of chosen topic, the main point of attention was given on cats in unity of stated aim and methods of the thesis. The introduction is based on specifying of main terms and following the resolution of external enviroment factors such as stabling, hygiene of cat breeding and their nutrition since birth. Mainly no literature does not state the right structure of feed dose in detail, we can only work with estimated data. Our effort has been using the scientific literature to choose the generalizing opinions about optimal compounds of feed, nutrition value and feed proper or improper for domestic cats. The most important part of the thesis is diseases caused by malnutrition of cats. Basic problems connected with feed intake are reluctance, vommiting, diarrhoea, constipation and tooth caries. Next part is based on obesity that is severe metabolic defect and causes other relevant malformations. Following part is about nutrition allergies and intolerance problems. Finally, in the end of this work there are said inherent problems caused by lack of some feed components causing troubles with fur and skeleton. Health problems or disorders associated with food are first characterized and further described their causes, treatment and prevention. The treatment can be done by the breeder in some ways; in more difficult cases is necessarry to ask the Veterinarian who sets individual treatment plan.

Biogenic amines in beer
Čiháková, Dagmar ; Orsák, Matyáš (advisor) ; Braný, Pavel (referee)
This thesis deals with the technological process of brewing beer, describes the raw materials needed for its production, and points out the useful and harmful substances contained in beer as biogenic amines (BA). Furthermore, there are described the issues of biogenic amines in food and primarily in beer, which is a histamine, putrescine, cadaverine, tyramine and tryptamine. In the practical section BA was determined in lager bottom-fermented beers from local microbreweries and large industrial breweries. Beer is according to legislation considered as a safe food containing a variety of healthful nutrients such as B vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, soluble fiber and polyphenolic merged, which have anticarcinogenic, antioxidant and antimicrobial effects. On the other hand, in beer we can find harmful substances such as alcohol, heavy metals, N-nitrosamines, aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, nitrates and biogenic amines. In the second part of the research are summarized the issues of BA in certain foods and beverages, their chemical structure, the way how they are created and their negative effects on the human body. BA are natural, biologically active substances that are essential for the human organism. Their excessive amount in beer is toxic for the human organism. Ethanol contained in the beer decreases the activity of the enzyme monoamine oxidase, and this leads to reduced degradation of BA. Intoxication of BA can cause headaches, vomiting, hypertension, allergic reactions, rashes and even loss of consciousness, therefore, should be the content of these substances monitored. In the practical part of this theses the samples of bottom-fermented beers were analyzed. The first group of samples included unfiltred and unpsaterized beers from microbreweries. In the second group there were filtered and pasteurized beers from large breweries. HPLC determined BA in beer (histamine, putrescine, cadaverine, tyramine and tryptamine). The resulting values indicate that the domestic beers contain biogenic amines in very small concentrations, thus satisfy the legislative standarts. The results were also compared between the two groups of samples. These samples showed that the beer from microbreweries is not contaminated as originally was expected. It shows good technological processes in the manufacture of beer in such small devices.
