Tato diplomová práce se zabývá podílem žen ve správních orgánech společností kótovaných na pražské burze. Práce zkoumá, zda jsou v těchto společnostech rovnocenně zastoupeni muži a ženy, resp. zda je zde alespoň 40 % žen. Tento podíl navrhuje Evropská komise v připravované směrnici. Uváděno je složení rad ředitelů či dozorčích rad a představenstev ke konci roku 2009 a 2014 a následně je hodnocen vývoj za těchto 5 let. This thesis deals with the proportion of women on the boards of the companies listed on the PSE. It is researched whether men and women are equally represented. The European Commission suggests 40 % of women on the boards. There is presented the composition of the boards of directors or the supervisory boards and the management boards by the end of 2009 and 2014. Then the development in these 5 years is evaluated.
