Concurrent mapping and localization based on potential fields
Věchet, Stanislav ; Krejsa, Jiří
Presented paper deals with Concurrent Mapping and Localization as a method to build the local map for the autonomous mobile robot. Building accurate local map is necessary for the successful navigation through the crowded environment densely populated with dynamic obstacles. The occupancy grid mapping algorithm was used due to the high uncertainty in the measurements of dynamic obstacles. As the occupancy grid algorithm is of probabilistic nature the implementation is straightforward and is also capable to generate the results in real-time.

The solid depozited precipitation in the small catchments in the Czech Republic
Fišák, Jaroslav ; Tesař, Miroslav
The samples were collected in two localities differing in the industrial pollutant load. The first locality situated in the Sumava Mts. represents a relatively clean region of the Czech Republic. The second locality is situated in the Northern Bohemia. This locality is represented by the Milesovka Observatory of the IAP ASCR. The region is heavy polluted by the industrial load in this case. The one-shot sample collection in the Sumava Mts. at 28 localities was made on January 4th, 1990. There were shown: i) The ion concentrations in the rime water depend on the industrial load of the region and on the local pollutant sources; ii) The local pollutant sources play the main role in ion concentrations in rime water; iii) The ion concentrations decrease with altitude.

Comparison of chemical composition of throughfall and deposited precipitation
Chaloupecký, Pavel ; Špičková, Jitka ; Fišák, Jaroslav ; Skřivan, Petr
Since June 2004 throughfall samples in beech and spruce vegetation have been taken at the observatory Milesovka. Ever since 1998 fog water samples have been taken there as well. In this paper are compared the concentrations of main ions and trace elements in throughfall and in deposited precipitation. The concentrations of main ions and trace elements in throughfal are primarily affected by the volume of samples. The highest concentrations of monitored sustances in throughfall were recorded in September and in October when the lowest rainfall totals were measured. The concentrations of monitored sustances were in throughfall mostly higher in spruce vegetation in comparison with beech vegetation. It is probably due to the thicker treetop in spruce vegetation on Milesovka observatory. Due to the thicker treetop a smaller volume of throughfall is let fall and the substances from ambient air are captured more effectively in comparison with beech vegetation. In the case of main ions the lowest concentrations were measured in fog water samples. For trace elements wasn´t data. From comparison with reference locality Lesni potok is obvious that concentrations of monitored sustances in throughfall on Milesovka exceed sharply concentrations in locality Lesni potok. This difference is considerably higher by spruce vegetation in comparison to beech vegetation which indicate that it is necessary take not only local air quality into account but also type of vegetation and thick of treetop which can very significantly contribute to the chemical composition of throughfall.

Přestup tepla a hmoty u syntetizovaného impaktního proudu
Trávníček, Zdeněk ; Hyhlík, Tomáš ; Maršík, František
A zero–net–mass–flux actuator was used to generate a synthetic air jet. The local mass transfer in the jet impingement configuration was investigated using the naphthalene sublimation method. Based on the heat/mass transfer analogy, the mass transfer data have been converted to the corresponding heat transfer data. The results have been compared with the data for continuous impinging jets; the difference is less than 11%.

Participative management – key to minimaze conflicts between protection of biodiversity and socio-economic development of local communities
Těšitel, Jan ; Kušová, Drahomíra ; Matějka, K. ; Boháč, J. ; Bartoš, Michael ; Kopáčková, M. ; Moravcová, Jana ; Šrubař, Vladan
The project was aimed to propose a model of optimal coexistence of biodiversity protection and socio-economic development in large-scale protected areas. Its main output was identification of principles of participative management of protected areas and estimation of circumstances necessary for its practical implementation. The project focused on description of biodiversity in particular model areas, on eventuality of changes in biodiversity due to human activities and thus on identification of actual and potential conflicts. In parallel, selected parameters of quality of life of local population, behaviour the population and its relation to the Administration of protected area and to nature protection in general were studied. Analysis of behaviour of the administration of protected areas as social institution became also part of the project. The project was designed as empirical comparative study of three biosphere reserves (BR) - BR Šumava, BR Třeboňsko a BR Křivoklátsko.

Analysis of communication strategy of Red Bull Czech Republic
Syrovátková, Anežka ; Mikeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Homolka, Pavel (referee)
In my thesis I focused on the analysis of communication strategy of Red Bull Czech Republic, specifically on advertising, communication at the point of sale, public relations and media communications, opinion leaders program, event marketing and digital communications. I started from global communication strategy represented by Red Bull Media House and I have examined, how this strategy is implemented at local level. For this analysis, it was also necessary to analyze market of energy drinks in the Czech Republic, as it stands under the category of soft drinks and what position takes Red Bull. Based on these analyzes, I evaluated pros, cons and suggested possible improvements.

Economic Aspects of Development of Gastronomy as Part of Local and Regional Cuisine
Kozáková, Petra ; Malcová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Skopová, Věra (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to generally describe Czech gastronomy, its orientation, historical development and position in national culture, to specify the position of gastronomy in official documents about the preservation of cultural heritage and define traditional gastronomy as part of local and regional culture in selected localities and regions. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of the impact of traditional gastronomy on current economy - in particular, there are examples of producers of traditional gastronomic products in selected localities and regions of unique cuisine.

Route Mapping for Wheelchair Users in Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko
Gürtlerová, Jana ; Ortová, Marie (advisor) ; Pařízek, Michal (referee)
This work deals with accessibility of nature sites for the handicapped people, particularly wheelchair users. It informs about the accessibility of protected landscape areas and national parks in the Czech Republic. The legislative frame of the system of tourism for wheelchair users is still insufficient. Thanks to a few organizations and individuals, several handicapped-accessible nature trails were developed. The aim of this work is to map current possibilities of visiting the Protected Landscape Area Broumovsko on a wheelchair. Although the terrain of the area is rather difficult to acces, it was possible to create six new trails through this countryside. The tracks are suitable for wheelchair users in mechanical wheelchair with company. Five of these tracks lead through the area of Broumov's rocks and last track shows a part of the Adršpach Rock Town. The trails vary from three to six kilometers of length and they mostly covered with tarmac. One of the aims of the thesis is to produce an information leaflet monitoring routes for wheelchair users. In addition, it provides a detailed description of the routes on web sites of the Local Authority of CHKO Broumovsko and a few wheelchair users' organisations. The text of a leaflet containts information about accommodation and refreshment facilities for...

Comparison of quantitative LIBS analysis of steel standards utilizing single-pulse and double-pulse LIBS
Pořízka, Pavel ; Hrdlička, Aleš (referee) ; Kaiser, Jozef (advisor)
In this diploma thesis the differences between single pulse and double pulse laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) methods are discussed. The time evolution of laser induced plasma (LIP) parameters, such electron density, plasma temperature, density of ions and atoms is shown. Selected methods for evaluation of plasma parameters (Boltzmann equation, Saha-Boltzmann equation etc.) are also stated. The theoretical bases of local thermodynamic equilibrium (LTE), which is necessary condition for using of previously stated methods for computation of plasma parameters, are discussed. Diploma thesis also contains the description of each component of our LIBS experimental set up and the way of their optimization. Presented theoretical advantages of DP LIBS method are demonstrated on results of experimental measurements of steel standards.

Libeř. Transformation of microsocial, agricultural, and ecological structure of the village in the Central Bohemia region in the Early modern period
Kucrová, Veronika ; Čechura, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Maur, Eduard (referee)
This Thesis puts mind to population and natural development of village Libeř in Central Bohemia. The first part focuses on demography and follow nuptiality, natality and mortality from the end of 16th till the middle of 19th century. Selected developments are compared with similar and other locality. Fragments offers look to everydayness of Libeř's villagers - strategy of partners selection, choice of childern's names and godfathers, most frequent causes of death in individual age categories etc. The most important fountains for historical demography are church registers and old land registers. Confessional and memorial books are complementary to partial details to concrete people. In this chapter is short development of parishs, which partakes of spiritual government in Libeř. The 2.th. part of Thesis studies changes of natural territory and his usage, formation village borders and image of rural zone. Among monitored problems pertains patrimonial competency to parcels and changes, too. Base of documents are above all written and cartographic fountains - the old land registers, cadasters (Theresian Register, Josephinian Register) and memorial books. From map basis are there the so called Indication Scheme and so called 1.military surveying, digital geologic, aquiculturing and cadastral map sets. Research...
