Comparison of legal regulation of basic institutions of a residential cooperative in Poland and the Czech Republic

THE COLLATION A REGULATION OF FUNDAMENTAL INSTITUTES OF HOUSING COOPERATIVES IN POLAND AND THE CZECH REPUBLIC This work aims to capture qualities and shortcomings of the legislation in one of the important sectors of housing, the cooperative sector, in the context of a comparison of the two national legislations - in the Czech Republic and Poland. In both compared legislations, cooperative has its special character and long-standing tradition, which was introduced immediately in the introductory sections. The cooperative sector is the merit of this work. The issue of housing is always up to date, moreover, in practice we many time encounter with the uncertainties associated with the housing issue. Cooperative law in the area of housing is interesting in particular, with regard to incompleteness, and, in some cases, to insufficiency of Czech legislation, distinguish it from, more or less, consistent realization of housing cooperatives in Poland. Although both legislations have similar sources and traditions, and their characteristic developments, in the field of the law the willingness of legislators to adapt an important part of ensuring significantly differs from the housing requirements of the population. Analysis of social services for seniors in the Czech Republic during the years 2007 - 2015

This thesis focuses on the theme of social services for the elderly and its development since 2007 to 2015. The goal is to describe the development of social services in the Czech Republic, in the regions of the Czech Republic and comparison between them. The Bachelor thesis also has the goal of informing about the current situation and future predictions. The theoretical part deals with the definition of social inclusion services within social policy. An integral part is the description of the basic forms of social services, social service providers and legislative and financial framework for social services in the Czech Republic. The method used in this part is the literature research focused on characteristics of social policies, particularly on social services. The empirical part follows information from theoretical part. The research is focused on the Czech Republic as a whole and then goes into exploring the specifics of individual regions and their comparison. Here, the methods used are: analysis of the existing system of social services and regional comparison. The data sources are mainly from Czech Statistical Office and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The result of my investigation is the confirmation of the need for social services in the lives of seniors. The goal of this thesis is to highlight the current systemic shortcomings of providing and funding of social services, mainly because of increased number of seniors in Czech Republic.

The Soviet collectivization in the late 20s and in the first half of the 30s of the 20th century and evaluation of the social and economic consequences on Volhynian Czechs

The thesis focuses on economic development in the Soviet Union in the late 20s and in the first half of the 30s of the 20th century. An accent is placed mainly on collectivisation of agriculture during the first five-year plan. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the centrally planned economy, previous economic history of the USSR and Stalin's concept of economic policy. The analytical part of the thesis deals with the process of collectivization and evaluation of the social and economic outcomes and consequences, specifically on the territory of Volhynia, where thousands of Czech citizens emigrated. The hypothesis, that Volhynian Czechs were not directly affected by forced collectivization, was disproved. As a result of collectivization the number of czech population in Volhynia decreased by 30%. The first five-year plan featured a big step towards modernization and self-sufficiency of the country, but in the agricultural sector failed.

History of the town of Janovice nad Úhlavou till 1848. Historical monograph

The offered thesis deals with the history of the town Janovice nad Úhlavou until the year 1848, it is the locality situated in the southwestem Bohernia not far from Klatovy. In the first chapter, the author presents a basic overview of the study of the regional history in the Czech countries and its further prospects, then he expands on the heuristic basis, from which he proceeded when elaborating the monograph. After evaluating the geographical conditions of the locality, a prehistoric development of the Klatovy region is observed, which is up to this day impeded by the lack of executed archeological researches. The second chapter deals with medieval colonization of the whole Klatovy region, in which the accent is put on the significance of historical communications which it also describes and evaluates in the framework of the region being explored. On the basis of acquired facts, it subsequently outlines the basic contours of the settlement progress. The fifth chapter already refers directly to the history of the town in the Middle Ages. The appearance of the surrounding country in the past is observed and especially the medieval history of the knight order of Janovští z Janovic. "He has paid and owes nothing." Aspects of the transaction with the serf estate in the town of Mělník in the 17th century

The thesis deals with the issue of property transfer of servile real estates in the Estate of Melnik during the 17 century. As the main resource material was used the collection of Melnik Books of Land Ownership founded during the 80s of the 16 century. After the Thirty Years' War these books were restored in connection with the afterwar reconstruction of the Estate of Melnik and were published in a new edition until the turn of the 17 and 18 century. Besides these Books of Land Ownership we also studied other kinds of resources such as land and duties registers, land-registries, inventories and estimations which originated in the 17 century with respect to this Estate. In the end of the 17 century was formed a uniquely preserved register of serfs which enables us not only to have better knowledge of the structure of settled farmers themselves but also create the first picture of general structure of servile population in the Estate. In the introduction I tried to place the Estate of Melnik in the structure of Early Modern Times country estates. Economic policy of National front government

The bachelor thesis is focused on economic policy of Czechoslovakia after 1946 up to the rejection of participation in the Marshall plan. Its hypothesis is that development of economic policy was inevitably headed for the transition to a centrally planned economy. At first it focuses on formation of National Front of Czechs and Slovaks which meant a considerable restriction of democracy. After parliamentary elections in 1946 thesis focuses on description of two-year economic plan which was an important instrument of economic policy of the National Front. The last part of thesis describes the circumstances of refusing to participate in the Marshall Plan. The main conclusion of the thesis is that due to political situation was possible other development but transition to centrally planned economy.

This thesis describes, analyzes and evaluates the creation and management of the project Chcikupon.cz. Part of this thesis is a business plan, which includes product characteristics, analysis of competitors, customers, suppliers, project staffing and marketing. The work includes analysis of the financial aspects of the project and it evaluates the return on investment. Thesis describes the launch of the discount portal Chcikupon.cz, and the success of individual promotional discounts with operations of the website by the end of 2013. The main contribution of the diploma thesis is the proposed strategy, which will lead to sustainable development of the project.

The Development of Territorial Structure of Public Administration in the Czech Republic

The thesis called "The Development of Territorial Structure of Public Administration in the Czech Republic" deals with analysis of the actual territorial structure of municipal governance using identified criteria. It is refered here to the most serious flaws within the organization of individual territorial units. The main aim of this thesis is to find consensus between different views on reform of territorial administration including introduction of measures that might help to solve the flaws of the mentioned actual state of the territorial structure. In this thesis there is original approach especially to the cathegory of municipality with authorized municipal office which by both the Ministry of the Interior, as well as most of the cited experts suggest to abolish completely. For the more detailed description of the issue the thesis gives an overview of the development of individual territorial units since 1848.

Czech business environment from the perspective of Italian entrepreneurs

The final thesis deals with the topic "Czech business environment from the perspective of Italian entrepreneurs." It is divided into three chapters. The first chapter covers the business environment in general and evaluates the position of the Czech Republic in various competitiveness rankings or reports. The second chapter describes the Czech business environment -- its state and development from 1989 to the present and evaluates the Czech business environment using the PEST analysis. The last chapter is purely practical and outlines the view of Italian entrepreneurs on the Czech business environment, their opinions and experience gained during doing business in the Czech Republic. The whole thesis is summarized at the end in the SWOT analysis of the Czech business environment.
