Methods: The methodology of the thesis aimed at the evaluation of the relationship between the athletic performance of the 4x100 metres relay and the member of this relay. The following three methods were applied in the thesis: The first procedure focused on the evaluation of the level of the relay exchange according to Dostál (1985), Vonstein (1988) and Oberste & Wiemeyer (1991). The second one analyzed the running technique in four different parts of the relay before the baton exchange. The third one considered the attitudes towards the practice of the relay exchange given the conditions in athletic clubs. Results: The goal of my thesis was to extend the knowledge of the level of a baton exchange in 4x100 meters women. Based on the video recording of individua! competitions and using questionnaires it is possible to conclude that the level ofpreparation ofwomen's relay team is low. There is no regular and systematic preparation since everything is subordinated to the individua! needs of the sprinter. The relay teams kept the same members with some exceptions. Mapování teplotního a rychlostního pole ve volném proudu horkého plynu
Gregor, Jan ; Jakubová, I. ; Mendl, T. ; Šenk, J.
In the paper the measurements on hot gas mixture free jet are analyzed. The main interest is oriented on the analysis of the distribution of the individual species in the jet based on the vector form of the continuity and momentum equation. In the continuity equation the diffusion member is involved. To simplify the problem, the temperature and velocity fields are approximated by suitable functions. The calculation process is applied on the jet generated by a hybrid water stabilized plasma torch with argon added into the chamber of a plasma heater.

Yoik: musical tradition of the Sámi
Jirešová, Stanislava ; Bidlo, David (referee) ; Lindroosová, Hilkka (advisor)
The traditional music of the Sámi, who inhabit the northernmost areas of Scandinavia and the Kola peninsula, is a cultural heritage of ancient origin. The Sámi musical tradition is represented especially by the yoik, which is a predominantly vocal music form without any instrumental accompaniment. The unique way of voice modulation gives the yoik its specific character and it is, in the opinion of the Sámi, the crucial feature distinguishing the yoik from other musical forms. However, style and structure of the yoik differ region by region, in a similar manner in which the various Sámi languages and dialects differ from each other. The purpose of this master theses is to introduce the tradition of the Sámi yoik in the Central European environment, where it is still relatively unknown. The paper focuses on the musical aspects of the yoik. The core of the paper is based on the original transcription of 22 selected yoik recordings, which were made between 1961 and 1963 in the Finnish Lapland. The paper aims at characterising the yoik melodics in terms of its tonal substance and melodic line. It also focuses on characterising the rhytmic aspects of the yoik and briefly discusses the musical forms typical for this music genre. In addition, the paper contains an overview of the past and present academic research...

Faustová, Markéta ; Augustová, Zuzana (referee) ; Christov, Petr (advisor)
Pina Bausch and the dance company Tanztheater Wuppertal inherently belong together. The choreographer became the head of this German dance company in 1973 and has led it since up today. She has never created choreography for any other dance group or other dancer. During this thirty-five years' connection the company moved among the top dance groups and stili achieve success worldwide. lt was and stili is an inspiration for many young authors. lt is a history, but also the presence at the same time. Right from the beginning of her career, Pina Bausch indicated that her work was going to be exceptional. For her, there were no barriers, neither in formulation of themes, nor in use of means of expression. She organically connected dance and theatre in her works and thus created a new art genre, which theoreticians call dance theatre. She managed to unite a multi-national group of twenty-six members, with which she worked very closely in preparation of particular pieces. Especially at the beginning, the dancers were forced to personally engage into each choreography. Preparation of a performance consisted in so-called principle of questions. Pina Bausch wanted her dancers to answer her questions by improvising a little dance or theatre sketch. Then, she was choosing from this amount of mate rial to form a base...

The influence of trade barriers on migration between states
Břehovský, Jan ; Brožová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Čermáková, Klára (referee)
The main purpose of the thesis is to identify the nature of the relationship between the freedom and openness of the international trade and migration. My hypothesis says, that reduction in the level of trade barriers can, according to the Stolper-Samuelson theorem, lead to equalisation of the factor prices in particular economies. If the differences in wages are also reduced, decrease of the migration may occur, due to reduction in benefits and/or rise in costs of migration. The analysis is performed using two regression models looking for main determinants of the emigration and immigration. I estimated the models using panel data from selected European Union member countries over the past 15 years. The results shows, that trade openness is important factor which lowers the migration Given those results, set hypothesis was empirically verified.

Regulation of retailer-supplier relatiohships within the food chain
Mokrejšová, Veronika ; Zadražilová, Dana (advisor) ; Klosová, Anna (referee) ; Zeman, Jiří (referee) ; Vyhnálek, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with retailer-supplier relationships within the food chain, and with possibilities of their regulation. The aim is to assess the effect of regulation of retailer-supplier relationship, through "Act on Significant Market Power and Abuse thereof" on particular food chain members, and eventually to propose an alternative solution of their regulation. The thesis states the following hypothesis: The Act on Significant Market Power does not change bargaining power between suppliers and retailers. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first of those defines the issue of retailer-supplier relationship, especially the so called "unfair practices". The mind-set of the European Commission which judges the unfairness of a practice, according to its impact on consumer, investment and competition is stressed. When comparing market shares and profit abilities, it is obvious that supplier sector is not disadvantaged in relation to retailing, however, there are cases of small and medium enterprises over which retailers can impose their bargaining power. Retroactive changes and excessive risk transfer on a business partner are then indicated as unfair, which is confirmed by microeconomic analysis. The second part maps means of regulation, through hard and soft law in the EU and its member states with focus on the Czech Republic, where the Act No. 395/2009 Coll., on Significant Market Power in the Sale of Agricultural and Food Products and Abuse thereof is applied. It is found that regulation within the EU is heterogeneous and the results of different regulatory mechanism in different countries differ. The third part talks about self-regulatory possibilities constituted by corporate social responsibility. The main solution of retailer-supplier relationships is represented by stakeholder dialogue, in which contractual parties look for the basis of their antagonistic positions (which are hidden in their interests and needs), and try to identify mutual needs and to create shared value. This approach increases the created value, which is advantageous for both partners, instead of redistributing the value to the benefit of the stronger partner. The fourth part presents the results of a survey conducted among retailers, retailer suppliers and farmers, their opinions about the Act on Significant Market Power, about changes caused by this Act and about particular unfair practices. It was realised that the Act does not help the suppliers very much, in that the bargaining position was improved only with a tiny part of the respondents, and the Act even did not fulfil the role of small and medium sized enterprises protection. The everyday practice of retailer-supplier relationships remains (after changing few legal formulations in the contracts) almost the same as it was before the Act came into force. The only considerable change is shortening the payment period to 30 days; however, there are suppliers that are not content about this provision. The farmers do not feel any consequences of the Act; retailers regard it as business barrier and excessive regulation. Thus, this part confirms the hypothesis. The final part of the thesis proposes a solution to this issue by engaging many stakeholders: the business partners (self-regulation), the State (regulation through general universal act), consumers, non-governmental organisations and media (generating demand for responsible behaviour of firms).
