Needs Analysis of social prevention Services for Children and Youth in Třeboň
ŠEDIVÁ, Ivana
The mission of the low-threshold facility for children and youth is to aim for integration of children and youth into society and for positive change to the way of life of young people who find themselves in a severe social situation. Essential importance of this facility are its consulting and preventive activities which enable children and youth to have a chat or to open out and talk about their problems that can be dealt with through the help of the assistants. There is no such facility in Třeboň, children and youth have no direct specialised social service here, which would offer activities and help in their leisure time. Main target of my Bachelor?s Thesis is to map the need of low-threshold facility for children and youth in Třeboň. The research was focused on two groups of people and their opinions, which are important for meeting the main target and partial targets of the thesis. The first group was children and youth of schools in Třeboň and the second group was professional public considering the theme of my thesis (educational consultants, headmasters, representatives of municipal Police, members of Třeboň municipality council, deputy heads of Třeboň schools etc.). The first partial target was to find out an interest in use of low-threshold facility in the municipality of Třeboň, the second partial target was to find what activities children would be interested in. The third partial target was to compare the opinions of respondents to the analysis of potential users of social services implemented within the process of development plan creation. There were defined two following hypotheses within the thesis. H1: More than a half of the interviewed students are interested in use of a low-threshold facility for children and youth in Třeboň, H2: Potential clients of the low-threshold facility for children and youth expect especially an offer of pedagogical, educational and activation working. H1 and H2, which were analysed within a quantitative research using the method of questioning and the questionnaire technique, were proved. Children and youth of Třeboň schools would like to use such facility in the municipality of Třeboň. There was defined a research question within the thesis: Should the municipality of Třeboň financially support an establishment and operation of a low - threshold facility for children and youth in its territory? On the basis of a statement of professional public regarding this research question it is possible to say that 77, 7% interviewed from professional public think that Třeboň should financially support this facility and 22, 3% interviewed is on the opposite opinion. Low-threshold facility for children and youth in Třeboň would help the municipality to control criminal activities of children and youth by offering a suitable and specialized service directly to them. Unorganised youth would spend their leisure time by doing activities which can serve as prevention against risk behaviour. The activities would be professionally secured. Based on the opinions of the above mentioned two groups on the low-threshold facility for children and youth in Třeboň and consequent assessment it is possible to use the results then as a background material for possible review of the social service development plan in Třeboň and to get closer to children and youth and their needs.

Risk group of persons with disabilities on the labour market in Prague from 2005 to 2015
Hošková, Laura ; Maule, Petr (advisor) ; Lukášová, Tereza (referee)
The theoretical part of the Bachelor Thesis comprehensively illustrates the status and representation of persons with disabilities (PWD) on the current labour market in the Czech Republic. In a general manner, the Thesis looks at the employment policy as well; especially its legislative basis in the legal framework of the Czech Republic and selected EU countries. Furthermore, the legal obligations of employers of PWD and the possibilities of fulfilling the mandatory share of PWD employment are stated. Findings of two qualitative employment studies are presented showing that PWD enter the labour market equipped with specialized competencies, which they are willing to complete by retraining programmes in case of need. The employers perceive the employment of PWD mainly as a financial profit, granted to them by the state; and the legislative conditions are a sufficient incentive for them. The questionnaire survey pointed out that the weakness in the employment of PWD is the lack of part-time jobs, which are highly demanded among them. Therefore the Thesis presents a solution, which could be the creation of shared work positions.

Vilímková, Helena ; Barák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Krebs, Vojtěch (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the motivation of blood plasma donors between the ages of 18 to 26 in the Czech Republic in 2016. The first part of the work defines and describes the system of blood donation and its components in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work examines fundamental theoretical concepts concerning blood plasma donation and it also explores private plasmapheresis donation centers. Finally, it inspects the motivation of blood plasma donors. The practical part of the thesis analyses author s empirical research. The collected data showed that the biggest motivation factor is financial compensation, despite the fact that positive feeling about oneself goes hand-in-hand with the financial reward in most of the cases. The rationale behind this practice is student s need to enhance their financial situation as they are yet to have full income.

Novotný, Lukáš ; Dvořáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Cetkovský, Pavel (referee)
The topic of this thesis is reward management and its application in a small-sized IT enterprise. Its goals are to properly document and describe current reward system in the company, evaluate the system and recommend improvements for the system. The first two goals are reached via thorough research of the company through semi-structured interviews, employee satisfaction survey, participant observation and document examination and the last one by applying principles from the current literature and education to the results of the two previous goals. The findings are that the reward system, despite growing organically instead of designed, is relatively effective in some areas, but needs improvement in other areas. The main improvement areas are motivation by contingent pay, communication management and performance management. Relatively well working rewards are especially non-financial reward connected to the work environment and work itself.

Processing Differencies in Matters of Juvenile Perpetrators
KALIVODOVÁ, Martina
My bachelor thesis will concern criminal procedural law of juvenile offenders, focusing on the specifics of proceedings with juvenile offenders, which I shall compare to proceedings with adult offenders. In the introduction I will mention the history of criminal law with juvenile offenders, which has undergone significant changes. At first criminal law was only regulated by the penal code and by the criminal procedure, which only included provisions concerning juvenile offenders. This regulation was insufficient as it did not allow to reflect juvenile criminality. There were tries to enforce a new code of law, which would contain only juvenile justice. Quite recently, in the year 2004, because of growing juvenile criminality and the need to solve juvenile criminal cases differently, a new independent law n. 218/2003 Sb. on juvenile justice was created, with the full name of law n. 218/2003 on the liability of youth for unlawful acts and on juvenile justice and on change of some laws. This law brought many changes and represents a positive contribution in juvenile justice. In my work I will introduce the juvenile justice law and I will point out the facts resulting from it. At the beginning of my thesis I will shortly define the basic concepts dealing with substantive criminal law of juvenile offenders, which are distinct from the criminal law of adults, and the knowledge of which I consider necessary for full understanding of my work. The aim of my work is to highlight the differences in procedural criminal law, in criminal proceedings with juveniles. I will compare criminal proceedings with juveniles to those with adults, which differ in significant terms. I will focus on certain specifics, which I will describe, compare to general regulations and evaluate. To conclude, I will evaluate the current state of juvenile justice and provide my own opinion on this topic. I will describe certain drawbacks in the law and suggest their change. I will describe my own ideas about juvenile law.

Řízení IS/ICT se zaměřením na sourcing služeb informačního systému
Šebesta, Michal ; Voříšek, Jiří (advisor) ; Havlíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Příklenk, Oldřich (referee) ; Král, Jaroslav (referee)
Research on outsourcing has been around for several decades, while recent evolution in the information systems discipline towards ICT service commoditization significantly changes the context of decision-making. Services that are available on-demand via the Internet allow organizations implementing functions they demand in a fraction of time. This trend represents a chance for organizations seeking to use advanced ICT services without a need of major investments. Problem is the current lack of guidelines and tools for managing ICT services and their outsourcing. Given the trends on the ICT service market, it is expected that much of the IT management in the future will encompass the ICT services and utilize service-level structures. Methods currently available are either too broad or encompass only small part of the whole problem. Ad-hoc or unsound decisions in this area might cause major complications in terms of quality, usability, integration, and consequently influence total cost of organizational IT. Organizations need to either revise existing models or propose and implement completely new models to manage their IS/ICT. This thesis deals with the management of IS/ICT with focus on the ICT services outsourcing. It discusses available sourcing models in the literature and links them to the various interconnected areas. Based on these areas, it presents an integrated view on IT outsourcing strategies. Most importantly the thesis proposes an original concept for decision-making about outsourcing of ICT services named the SOURCER framework. This approach utilizes the presented outsourcing strategies, and introduces a complex methodology and decision-making criteria that will assist organizations with selection of ICT services in order to maintain and manage a most suitable ICT service portfolio. The decision-making is based on four essential viewpoints: function, costs, time, and quality. These viewpoints are discussed, individually analyzed, and serve as a basis for further research. The whole framework is developed and validated according to Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). Individual components are evaluated using a survey among a group of selected IT managers. Proof of concept is then established by a case study on framework use in a real organization. This case study covers strategy specification, business--IT alignment, specifying service architecture and its interconnections, outsourcing, and management of the ICT service portfolio.

Determinants of Industrialization in sub-Saharan Africa and Possibilities for their Development
Sejkora, Jiří ; Jiránková, Martina (advisor) ; Šaroch, Stanislav (referee) ; Fárek, Jiří (referee) ; Adamcová, Lenka (referee)
Sub-Saharan economies need structural changes that would enhance their productivity, increase economic growth and development. In this regard, industrialization plays a key role. Using regression analysis, the aim of this dissertation thesis is to identify main factors (determinants) of industrialization in sub-Saharan Africa. The results indicate that infrastructure and economy size (measured by population size) represent main determinants of industrialization in the region. The thesis also deals with possibilities for development of those determinants. Case study of infrastructure development in Mauritius emphasizes privatization, cooperation with external subjects etc. Negative consequences of small economy size can be overcome by preferential trade agreements (under certain circumstances), as shown by analysis of the three smallest economies in the region.

Proposing the financial performance prediction index for decision support of the hospital management
Hajdíková, Taťána ; Černá, Anna (advisor) ; Lieskovská, Vanda (referee) ; Lazar, Jaromír (referee)
Dissertation thesis deals with the managerial needs in the area of financial health. Managers need a tool to reveal the impending financial failure or to assess the financial quality of the organization. They link their decisions to performance, ability to pay, employee productivity, financial resources and financial risk. In the theoretical part of the thesis it is necessary to explain the non-profit sector and its connection with the hospital environment. It is also necessary to introduce models used both in the Czech Republic and abroad, which share common elements. The basic aim of this thesis is to propose a financial performance prediction index for decision support of the hospital management, the owners of hospitals and insurance companies. To achieve the basic goal, three sub-goals must be accomplished. The first goal is to divide the hospitals into healthy and unhealthy by using the multi-criteria methods. The second goal is, based on an expert approach with the support of statistical methods, the selection of indicators appropriate for the hospital environment and the third goal is to find a suitable method for the determination of weighted representation of individual indicators in the proposed index and to assemble the final form of the new financial index for the hospital environment.
