Klepková, Kristina ; Muhič Dizdarevič, Selma (advisor) ; Moree, Dana (referee)
The aim of my MA thesis is a general survey of the area of employment migration of the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic. My thesis uses especially qualitative methods of data colleting in order to answer the key research questions. What are the present problems of non-profit organizations? How do these institutions evaluate the cooperation with the state sector, the private sector, and other non-profit organizations? What approaches do the emplyees of nonprofit organizations have towards migration policy and illegal migration? In which ways does the European Union influence the execution of nonprofit organizations? On the basis of analysis, and documentary background research I also try to answer the following questions: What is the capacity of the nonprofit sector in the area of emplyment migration? Does the regional devision of nonprofit organizations cover the current needs? Chat financial resourses are used by nonprofit organizations to support their activities? What types of projects focused on emplyment migration already exist, and (from the employee' perspective) which ones were the most welcomed?

Modelování profilů rychlosti větru naměřených sodarem v komplexním terénu
Hošek, Jiří
The wind profiles with two Doppler sodars were measured in wide range of synoptic situations in Ore mountains (Erzgebirge) and in the region of Orlické hory (mountains), both in the Czech republic. Ore mountains represent the region most suitable for construction of wind turbines in the Czech republic. Concerning the observed wind profiles, their generalization may serve for improvement of precision of the simulated wind profile fields. In the second part of the work, we performed the modelling of wind speed profiles in the complex terrain of above-mentioned mountain ranges. We have applied the non-hydrostatic meso-scale models KAMM and PIAP. The numerical simulations with the models were performed for different situations of the ambient flow, described by geostrophic wind speed and direction, and temperature stratification.

Arbitration clauses in consumer contracts and protection of consumer in arbitration
Vošvrda, Jiří ; Pohl, Tomáš (advisor) ; Macková, Alena (referee)
The text deals with some fundamental issues concerning arbitration clauses in consumer contracts and protection of consumers during arbitration proceedings. The purpuse of the thesis is to analyse current regulation of this field in the Czech Republic and evaluate changes brought about by amendment of Act No. 216/1994 Coll., on Arbitration and Enforcement of Arbitral Awards, which have come into force on 1st April 2012. The thesis is composed of five chapters. Chapter One is rather general and characterises major institutes of arbitration (with regard to disputes arising out of consumer contracts). Its eleven parts report on definition of arbitration and its forms, its inclusion among ADR mechanisms, reflections on suitability of arbitration in consumer disputes, its history and recent development, legal sources, basic principles, advantages and disadvantages in consumer disputes, main doctrines and fundamental conditions for arbitration (arbitrability and arbitration agreement). Chapter Two focuses on so-called "arbitration centres". The chapter consists of for parts. Part One describes their legal status. Part Two refers to recent discussions about admissibility of arbitration clauses recommended by centres. The next part seeks to draw attention to critical views of case law mentioned in the previous...

Older workers in the labour market
Žáková, Veronika ; Pavelka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Langhamrová, Jitka (referee)
The main objective of diploma thesis is to analyze and evaluate the situation of elder employees on the labour market in the Czech republic, where as in others developed countries of European union has negative demographic evolution. The first of all are mentioned fundamental demographic indicators including expected predictions for the future, next and also crucial part of thesis is dedicated to labour market with regards to changing structure in age structure of population. The group of elder workers is submitted to deeper analysis according to several standpoints such as reached education, gender or profession. The rest space is devoted to options and suggestions for this endangered group on the labour market, including examples of good practice from abroad. Thesis conclusion is focused on comparison with states of European union and fulfilling objectives in terms of European strategies.

Is import of goods from european countries to Czech republic more or less influenced by changes in nominal and real exchange rates than in non european countries?
Vereš, Jan ; Stroukal, Dominik (advisor) ; Slaný, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis analyses the connection between import of goods from foreign countries to Czech Republic and the exchange rate changes. The initial hypothesis of this paper is to prove that the depreciation of domestic currency has positive influence on balance of trade balance. For this purpose there is eight econometric models which were created by using time series from years 2003 to 2016. These models are divided in pairs among four chosen countries. For each country two models were created that follow the development of trade balance between Czech Republic and one of the countries in two different time frames. All the models always use the real effective exchange rate, growth rate of GDP for Czech Republic and growth rate of GDP for one of the countries as explanatory variable. It is connected with the second task of this thesis, which is the analysis of the differences in the behaviour of the models that belong to the countries which are members of the EU and these that are not. The aim is to find out whether the existence of tariffs on imported goods from countries out of the EU causes visible differences in the behaviour of the variables that were included in the models. Based on the outcomes of all eight models the main hypothesis has been proved right for three out of four countries. In the models for Germany, China and France the relation of real exchange rate and trade balance came out as positive in long term, in short term the outcome was ambiguous. The second question of this thesis has been answered, but its added value is questionable. The final models for each state do show some noticeable differences and they can be used to determine if the influence of the change of exchange rates on trade balance is smaller or bigger in the countries where tariffs are used. On the other hand, from the results we can learn that the sample of only four countries is insufficient for the deduction of any conclusions.

Intraspecific diversity in the ichthyofauna of the Czech Republic, its knowledge and protection
Lusk, Stanislav ; Lusková, Věra
At present, 48 fish and 2 lamprey species occur in the waters of the Czech Republic. Of these, 22 fish species are protected by law all over the country or locally, the protection of 3 fish and 2 lamprey species is conditional. For the time being, there are no legal means to protect their intraspecific (genetic) diversity. In this point, one can only utilise certain indirect measures that follow from the limits pertaining to endangered species. The available knowledge of intraspecific diversity of the fish fauna in the Czech republic is fragmentary an incoherent. That is one of the causes of the absence of legislative means to protect the intraspecific diversity. In addition, the apprehension of this phenomenon by the piscatorial public is insufficient although this diversity is the most endangered by the very fishery management. Increased research and knowledge of the intraspecific diversity of particular species is inevitable as the basis for its conservation.
