These articles were prepared as the contributions for the Conference with international participation “Hydrology of a small basin 2014” that was held from April 22nd to April 24th 2014 in Prague. The Conference was organized by the Institute of Hydrodynamics ASCR in Prague, Institute of Hydrology SAS in Bratislava, the Czech Water Management Society in Prague, Czech Hydrometeorological institute in Prague and Czech Committee for Hydrology. The book was published by the Institute of Hydrodynamics ASCR in Prague in 2014.

Prevention of HIV/AIDS and House of Light in Prague During 2005 - 2008

In meiner Arbeit widme ich mich der Problematik HIV/AIDS. Ich versuche auf Erheblichkeit der Probleme und auf die Hauptfragen der Prävention HIV/AISD in der Tschechischen Republik aufmerksam machen. Der Zielpunkt meiner Arbeit ist die Beschreibung und die Bewertung von Dienst für HIV-positive Menschen und für AIDS-Kranken. Diese Dienste ermöglicht Prager "Dům světla". Ich beschreibe die Entwicklung in den letzten Jahren, Erfolge, Probleme und auch Voraussetzungen für weitere Verbesserung der Prävention in der Tschechischen Republik. Die ersten Kapitel sprechen von den Hauptfragen des Phenomens HIV/AIDS und von der Prävention in der Tschechischen Republik. Nächste Kapitel betreffen die Tätigkeit der "Tschechischen Gemeinschaft AIDA Hilfe", die der Begründer von "Dům světla" ist. Kapitel 6 - 10 sind der Tätigkeit von "Dům světla" gewidmet und zugleich sprechen von Veränderungen, zu denen in der letzten Jahren kommt. In der letzten Kapitel 11. vergleiche ich die Stellungen der Klienten zu der Tätigkeit von "Dům světla" und ich spreche davon, welche Dienste in Jahren 2005 - 2008 möglich waren. In der Beilage sind Daten zum Thema, die ich im Verlauf der Verarbeitung versammelt habe. Introduction, which is created of author motivation to write that topic. Iťs enlarge of question finding relevant literatury and necessary context. (Publisheds concerned with "First Republic" differences between literary published in exile and pre and post Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia). Chapter Social-poIitic situacion is about historie context - progress in working-class movement in Austria-Hungary Empire, establishment of social democracy and Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSC). Further, KSC development in background of historical events - Nazism and Stalinism boom. Fučík and his journalist work in general is discourse Julius Fučík's life and his nondramatic texts. Ion structure characteristics of the bottled water and the comparison with water delivered through the common water supply

Cleft lip and palate is one of the most common congenital developmental defects . Morphological character defect has severe negative functional effects on swallowing , breathing, chewing and speech formation . aesthetically , the This is a significant handicap facial triad that affects the most overall facial appearance . Approximately 15 % of children have a defect associated with other disabilities , but isolated defect is neither lethal nor associated with mental failure . It is clear that the defect is a problem both health psychological and socio-economic . Therefore , the issue of treatment of patients with cleft recognized worldwide as so important that in this respect works close international cooperation, which is also included Czech Republic . It should be emphasized that the solution to the question of facial clefts has in the Czech Republic long tradition whose beginnings are associated with on behalf of Professor František Burian and Plastic Surgery Clinic in Prague, where he is currently the Center for cleft defects . The Czech Republic has center two , one already mentioned in Prague and one in Brno.

Dept. of Inorganic and Organic Chemistry Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralové Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: High number of life imperilling mycotic infection carries with itself increased need of antifungal drugs and need of new substances. In usage of antimycobacterial drugs it is also the same. Increasing resistance of pathogenic organisms urges human population to search for new, effective drugs. Aim of study: The aim of my diploma work was to prepare series of substitued arylguanidines, mainly 1-[3-chlor-4- (alkylsulfanyl)phenyl]guanidines, which are tested on antifungal and antimycobacterial activity. Methods: 2-Chloro-1-(alkylsulfanyl)-4-nitrobenzenes were synthesized from 3,4-dichloronitrobenzene by custom methods; either by using of active copper or by using Pd2(dba)3 and Xantphos as catalyzers. The following reduction of nitrogroup to aminogroup was made by stannous chloride under nitrogen atmosphere. Rise of appropriate amonnium salts proceeded in reaction with gaseous dry hydrogen chloride, almost quantitatively. PEOPLE AND DRUGS II. Author: Križanová L. Tutor: Práznovcová L. Dept. of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: It is necessary to rationalize the system of funding of health service. One of the ways how to achieve this aim is monitoring of drug prescription and patient's financial participation on the therapy. Aim of study: Observation and analysis of drug prescription aimed at the prescription of the drugs used in the therapy of diabetes mellitus. Analysis of bought of preparations bought without a prescription. Finding out how much pay patients as supplementary fees connected with provided health care. Methods: The research was made in November and December 2007. 150 patients, 65 male, 85 female were chosen randomly of the patients who visited The Pharmacy Medica in Povazska Bystrica. Patients answered the questions connected with the prescribed drugs they took, the preparations they buy without a prescription and supplementary fees connected with provided health care they pay. Results: As many as 35,4 % of the patients pay supplementary fees for prescribed drugs between 0 - 100 Sk a month . 70 % of the patients don't pay for preparations they buy without a prescription more than 200 Sk a month. 1 SUMMARY INFLUENCE OF PROMOTION ON CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR OF VISITORS OF CHEMIST'S Author: Vendula Štěpánová Tutor: PhDr.Vladimír Fabera, CSc. Dept. of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Fakulty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Aim of study: The objective of this work is to observe an influence of people by a promotion of drugs. An observational part was made according to a survey, where 14 questions were asked. Methods: I have taken up the dissertation of Krkošová 2000 and Pacasová 2002. I have chosen some questions which are the same as the questions in the dissertation of Krkošová and Pacasová. The reason was to compare results from both works with my results. Other questions were different. The questions were asked so everyone could understand and answer them. Respondents had to choose and highlight or could write their own answers. Then the answers were analysed. Results: 160 people participated in this research. 80% of the respondents have answered that they were not ifluenced by promotion during 6 months. Respondents who were influenced by promotion got the information from TV. 39% of the respondents do not prefer drugs seen in advertisements. 52% of the respondents have answered that they were interested in new drugs, but it only depends on what kind of drug it is....

Aim of study: The objectiv of the diploma work was find out the cardiovascular prescription, analyse what kind effective matters included with medicinal preparation on the cardiovascular system was prescribe for patients in practice - which dosage and which combinations. Methods: The 150 patients (98 female, 52 male, age 21 and more years), who come in chemist with medical recipe was accidentally chosen. These patients complete list of questions pertain to drugs prescribed by doctor, drug published without prescription, drugs expended without medical recipe, footage behind drugs and medical care. Synthesis of unsymmetrical derivatives of azaphthalocyanines IV. Zuzana Dvořáková Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University in Prague, Heyrovskeho 1203, Hradec Kralove, 50005, Czech Republic Phthalocyanine (Pc) and their azaanalogues (AzaPC, which have some carbons in their macrocyclic system replaced by nitrogens) belong to group of photosensitizers, which are used for photodynamic therapy in treatment of various cancer diseases. The effect is given by ability to generate reactive oxygen species (e.g. singlet oxygen) after light absorption. The aim of the work is to synthesize AzaPc with optimal properties and with a high efficiency in singlet oxygen production. New unsymmetrical AzaPc with different numbers of pyridyl on periphery were synthesized with zinc as central metal. Different ZnAzaPc were prepared using a statistical condensation starting from two precursors (5,6-bis(tert-butylsulfanyl)- pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile (A) and 5,6-di(pyridin-2-yl)pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile (B)). From the mixture of six posibble AzaPc, four of them (AAAB, ABAB, AABB, ABBB) were isolated by column chromatography. THE ELDERLY AND DRUGS Author: Andrlová J. Tutor: Práznovcová L. * * = Dept. of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: Old people use more than third of charges for remedys. Aim of study: This extended essay determines contemporary senior's farmacotherapy with a view to a height supplementary charges for prescription remedys and its dependence on different factors. Methods: Questionnaires were completed with 300 pharmacy's customers (60 years old and older seniors; 190 female and 110 male). Results: Descriptive statistics determines significant dependence of height supplementary charges for prescription remedys on age's rank by female's and male's sex, but significant difference is only among seniors 60 - 64 years old and seniors older to 75 years old. Confidence in a publicity on remedys is independent of age. Confidence in a pharmaceutical with higher age falls. Confidence in a doctor with higher age rises and influences height supplementary charges for prescription remedys. Conclusions: With higher senior's age rises also height supplementary charges for prescription remedys.
