Motor performance and somatic characteristics of women
KALIŠOVÁ, Karolína
Karolína Kališová: Motor performance and somatic characteristics of women (age category 25,00 - 34,99). The aim of the thesis is to compare and evaluate the measured results of 36 women (volunteer firefighters) aged 25,00 - 34,99 years. Measurements were conducted from October 2023 to January 2024, focusing on body characteristics such as height, weight, circumferential dimensions (right arm, abdomen, hips, and right thigh), skinfold thickness (subscapular, suprailiac, above the biceps, above the triceps, on the mid-right thigh), and tests of spine mobility (Stibor's sign, Otto's sign, Schober's sign, Čepoj's sign, Thomayer's sign, and lateral flexion test). Body Mass Index (BMI) was calculated for each subject based on height and weight, along with the sum of skinfolds. The research also included the evaluation of the foot printogram and a questionnaire on life satisfaction in the areas of health, work and employment, leisure time, own person, friends and relatives with additional supplementary questions. Interesting results of the study include, for example, a comparison of our sample with 50-year-old volunteer firefighters (Douchová, 2019), where significantly higher differences were observed in older women in terms of foot arch decline (tested by Chippaux and Šmiřák, average in the flat foot category), and spine mobility (Stibor's sign, Otto's sign, Schober's sign, Čepoj's sign, Thomayer's sign) was statistically significantly less in older women except for the cervical spine (tested by Čepoj's sign).
Morphological profile of forefoot in school-age children in relation to the volume of physical activities
Bezpalec, Jakub ; Marenčáková, Jitka (advisor) ; Řasová, Kamila (referee)
Title: Morphological profile of forefoot in school-age children in relation to the volume of physical activities Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to characterize the morphological profile of the foot with an emphasis on the forefoot and to identify specific differences between selected morphological parameters of the foot in school-age children based on different volumes of physical activity: significantly physically active, moderately physically active and physically inactive children. A secondary goal is to determine the profile of physical activities performed by children of younger school age and the relationship to selected foot deformities. Methods: The diploma thesis is a scientific-research work and has the character of an observational-descriptive non-experimental study. The research group of the study consisted of school children aged 6-10 years from three primary schools in Prague (average age 8 ±1.2 years, body height 132.8 ±8.6 cm, weight 29.9 ±7.7 kg, BMI 16 .8 ±16.8). The following dependent variables were measured: foot typology, function of the windlass mechanism of the foot, metaphalangeal joint stiffness of the big toe, and forefoot deformities between groups divided by the PAQ-C/CZ physical activity questionnaire. Questionnaire methods, a 3D leg scanner and selected clinical...
Strain-stress analysis of fixed bone of foot
Zapletal, Jakub ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with analysis of the rigidity of different variations of foot fixations. In the thesis there is a description of elementary anatomy of foot and its patology. Furthermore the possible corrections of hallux deformities and chosen fixators are described. The problem of analysis is soluted by the method of finite elements. The thesis also includes steps of geometery model creation based on 3D scanning. Three differents types of fixations are compared in this thesis and each of them is created in two different levels of details. There is a comparation, analysis of final solutions and chosen influences on the rigidity in the conclusion.

Design of shell orthopedic insole fabricated by 3D printing
Chaloupka, Matyáš ; Koutecký, Tomáš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of shell orthopedic insole fabricated by 3D printing. The background research is focused on matters of pes planus and on the methods of Rapid Prototyping including most commonly used materials. The structural design is focused on designing a material pattern for this medical instrument and consequently modeling sandwich structure by combining two materials, plastic and softened plastic, which is then made using Rapid Prototyping on Fused Deposition Modeling 3D printer. Rhinoceros© was used for the purpose of making a shell orthopedic insole, especially it’s algorithmic editor tightly integrated with Rhino’s 3D modeling tools, Grasshopper®. Final part was made with sandwich structure by combining PLA plastic and Flex material using Rapid Prototyping.
Hi-wing aircraft landing gear design

One part of the thesis is also 3D model of the main landing gear assembly.
Modification of the landing gear of the Irbis aircraft
Forman, Tomáš ; Vaněk, František (referee) ; Šplíchal, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the landing gear rebuild from tail gear to nose gear of the M-4 Irbis aircraft. The first chapter presents the aircraft in its current state and includes some technical data, too. The theoretical information about types of landing gears, its characteristics, pros and cons and the typical representatives for each type of landing gear are mentioned in the second chapter. The third chapter is about landing gear loads that occur during landing and about the load calculation according to UL 2 regulation. The following chapter shows the construction of the new landing gear, including some of the suggested, but not realised, designs. In the fifth chapter, there is a landing gear strength calculation of some of the gear components. The calculation is analytical and then uses FEM. The very last chapter then shows the effect of new landing gear on the centre of gravity in its extreme positions. The chapter also compares aircraft masses with both landing gears.
Zaplevelení kukuřice a hnojení organickými hnojivy
Robenek, Jakub
In the spring of 2023, field trials were set up on the school farming enterprise Nový Jičín plot to assess weed infestation the application of slurry, farmyard manure, digestate and separate. Liquid fertilisers (slurry, digestate) were applied at a rate of 50 m3, solid fertilisers (manure, separate) were applied at a rate of 50 t/ha. After the application of the selected fertilisers, they were incorporated, followed by tillage and sowing of maize (Zea mays). During the 6th leaf stage of maize, the current weed infestation was evaluated, followed by the application of herbicide, which successfully suppressed the weeds present. The results of the weed infestation showed differences between the fertilization treatments, with the highest weed infestation determined for the manure-fertilized treatment, followed by the digestate, slurry, and separate treatments. On the basis of statistical processing, the following weeds were identified as the most abundant weeds in the manure: red dead-nettle, common field-speedwell, common orache, common amarant, common fumitory, cockspur grass, curled dock, field pansy. The following weeds were present in the slurry: small-flowered cranesbill, cleavers, petty spurge, coltsfoot. The variant fertilised with digestate contained mainly weed species: wild radish, yellow charlock, shepherd’s-purse, field pennycress, field bindweed, rape, fat-hen, creeping thistle. In the part fertilised with separates, the following were mainly represented: field horsetail, mammoth red clover, common chickweed, dandelion, hoary cress, knotgrass, ribwort plantain. The last experimental variant was left without fertilisation, serving as a control. The identified weed species were also used for pH, N, P and salinity analysis as bioindicators. Weed species were divided according to the methodological guidelines into several groups representing certain criteria. During the comparison of the weed species criteria with the theoretical properties and character of the selected fertilizers, a conclusion was established in which the weed indications for each variant could be considered identical to the properties and character of the fertilizers.
