Synthesis of the electronically reconfigurable frequency filters
Michalička, Filip ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of reconection-less electronically reconfigurable filter structures which have single input and single output using unconventional active elements, which have ability to adjust one of their parameter e.g. gain or transconductance. The first part describes basic parameters of frequency filters, the division of filters by frequency transfer response and used circuit elements, their operational modes, the principle of reconnection-less electronically reconfiguration and the circuit design method MUNV. Second part describes all active elements used in the proposal of filters, their properties and the implementation using existing transistor-level models. The third part contains the design of three reconnection-less electronically reconfigurable filters and the simulations results obtained from simulation programs OrCAD Capture and PSpice. The obtained results were compared with theoretical behaviour. This part also contains results of these analyses: sensitivity, parasitic, Monte Carlo and temperature to determine the behaviour in varied cases.

Utilizing Unconventional CMOS Techniques for Low Voltage Low Power Analog Circuits Design for Biomedical Applications
Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) založené na BD, FG, QFG, a BD-QFG techniky; Tunable Transconductor založený na BD MOST; Current Conveyor Transconductance Amplifier (CCTA) založený na BD-QFG MOST; Z Copy-Current Controlled-Current Differencing Buffered Amplifier (ZC-CC-CDBA) založený na BD MOST; Winner Take All (WTA) and Loser Take All (LTA) založený na BD MOST; Fully Balanced Four-Terminal Floating Nullor (FBFTFN) založený na BD-QFG technice. Za účelem ověření funkčnosti výše zmíněných struktur, byly tyto struktury použity v několika aplikacích. Výkon navržených aktivních prvků a příkladech aplikací je ověřován prostřednictvím simulačních programů PSpice či Cadence za použití technologie 0.18 m CMOS.

Metal Detecting Ownership and Non-Ownership Motives
Hrušák, Jan ; Gregor, Martin (advisor) ; Kučera, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis addresses the phenomenon of hobby metal detecting in the Czech Republic, aiming to determine whether individuals' wealth influences the for- mation of detected finds collections. The mass spread of metal detecting in the Czech Republic since the 1990s has proven the significance of studying this activity. The phenomenon of metal detecting can be classified under contest theory, where agents make costly efforts to compete for a limited resource, which in this case is archaeological finds. From the standpoint of economics, a study about resources allocation, the metal detecting hobby can be an in- triguing topic for investigation. This thesis presents estimates of models based on five different datasets, each containing several thousands of observations obtained from a renowned Czech metal detecting website. The findings sug- gest that relatively wealthier metal detectorists are more likely to submit coins, but not artifacts. Given that coins form a relatively homogeneous group, the estimation results associated with coins might be applied to the formation of finds collections overall. Hence, the collecting of finds is likely to be negatively associated with an individual's socioeconomic status. Qualified Call for Statement pursuant to Section 114b of the Civil Procedure Code
Krejčí, Adam ; Sedláček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
Qualified Call for Statement pursuant to Section 114b of the Civil Procedure Code Abstract This thesis examines the institute of a qualified call for statement as a method of preparation of a hearing on the merits. An integral part of it is also the institute of a fiction of recognition of the claim, which occurs, inter alia, if the respondent fails to properly and in time comply with the qualified call for statement. If the aforementioned fiction is applied, the court shall decide on the matter without further delay by a judgment of recognition. The primary purpose of the qualified call for statement is to fulfil one of the fundamental principles of civil procedure, the principle of expeditious proceeding as one of the elements of the constitutionally guaranteed right to a fair trial. We refer to the qualified call for statement specifically with regard to the enhanced requirements which the respondent's response has to meet in order to properly comply with such a call. The characteristic feature of this institute is the strengthening of the principle of formal truth over material truth, since as a result of potential inactivity on the respondent's side, the proceeding is curtailed by the non-realisation of a wide range of procedural principles and the adversarial proceeding therefore ex lege and de facto...
Uptake of heavy metals - the role of the root system
Homola, Adam ; Tylová, Edita (advisor) ; Mašková, Petra (referee)
Heavy metals are important soil pollutants and pose a significant risk to plants under certain conditions. These include some essential microelements (Fe, Zn, Mn, Mo, Cu, Ni) and toxic metals (e.g. Cd, As, Pb, Hg). Essential microelements have important functions in plants, and are mainly involved in plant metabolism as cofactors of enzymes. Toxic metals have no function, yet they enter the plant in varying degrees from the environment and cause toxicity. However, excessive concentrations of essential metals in the plant also have negative effects and plants have different mechanisms to counteract these negative effects. The bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the uptake of heavy metals from the soil by the root, which is achieved by membrane transporters. It also discusses several mechanisms involved in defence against heavy metal toxicity, not only in terms of regulating uptake, but also after heavy metals have entered plant bodies. These mechanisms are an important aspect of hyperaccumulation, which is also included in this thesis. Hyperaccumulators use these mechanisms on a completely different scale than non-hyperaccumulators, which allows hyperaccumulators to live in environments where heavy metal concentrations are high, making them completely different from each other. The properties of...
Use of Kinect sensors for Motion Capture with Source Filmmaker and Blender software
VANĚK, Jan
The aim of my bachelor thesis is process the possibilities of using Kinect sensors for Motion Capture in Source Filmmaker and Blender programs. Motion Capture is a technology that captures motion by using Kinect sensors and applying the obtained data in 3D graphics programs. My main goal will be primarily to explore on subsequently describe the exact procedure to process the data obtained from Kinect sensors in Blender and Source Filmmaker. Furthermore, my other goals are comparison of the use of this technique to classical manual animation, the advantages and disadvantages of use in individual programs will be described and the possibilities of combining Motion Capture and classical animation will be tested. I´ll also try to modify Kinect hardware for Xbox One for direct connection to a Windows computer. Furthermore, a comparison of the quality of Motion Capture from Kinects for Windows and the Xbox One and comparison of capturing motion with one or more Kinect sensors. For the practical part I will create my own animated sequences, captured by Kinects in combination with manual animation in Blender and these sequences will be used in Unity to create an interactive movie that the user himself will be able to control.
