Monitoring of hydraulic machines using acoustic emissions
Závorka, Dalibor ; Pochylý, František (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to clarify possibilities of usage of acoustic emission as a hydraulic machinery diagnostics tool. Especially for exposing presence of ruptures or cracks in the parts of machine, assuming changes in acoustic exposure of the part during operation. This clarification is based on series of simple measured experiments, which consist of monitoring the bolt placed in fluid stream inside of a pipe. This bolt was preloaded against inner wall of pipe by appropriate tightening torque. This preload is supposed to simulate effects of the size of rupture. High preload simulates small rupture or none in object and respectively small preload is supposed to simulate big rupture. A group of pressure sensors and accelerometers measures experiments and their evaluations are processed by script created in software MATLAB. Outputs of this script are charts with effective values of respective sensors from the entire record split into individual frequency spectrums. These charts compare spectrums of each configuration to judge effects of parameters changes.

PROKURÁT, Václav
This Bachelor's thesis focuses on noise exposure of post-harvest lines operators. The main aim of the thesis was to determine the noise pollution in the workplace. The results of the measurement were mathematically processed and subsequently compared with the current Government Regulation no. 217/2016 Coll. amending Regulation no. 272/2011 Coll. on protection of health from adverse effects of noise and vibrations. Furthermore, the thesis includes noise control measures that protect the post-harvest lines operators from unwanted noise.
INTERSPACE (MORFOLOGY OF UNSEEN)
Stehlíková, Iveta ; Ptáček, Jiří (referee) ; Vítková,, Lenka (advisor)
The main idea of my diploma work is the view into the invisible world of microscopic objects. Their forms and structures are not used as such, but they are taken out from them and new forms are created from them. With a exaggeration absurdity and illustrating, I create new dimensions of the world that can not be seen by the eye or the device. Using the combination of spatial and also flat painting, I point to the paradox of the existence of space as the human being perceived it.
Wave editor
Šebesta, Michal ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Pop, Tomáš (referee)
The goal of the work is to develop an application for working with a sound. The aplication doesn't try to compete with a long time developed commercial application. It tries to point out what is the most important for sound editing. Therefore the application mainly contains the most important and the most comfortable elements. These elements are e.g. loading sound files, recording with microphone, editing functions, multitracking and various effects. Setting of shortcuts and design is comfortable for users, too.
Educational programs in the www enviroment
Revenda, Václav ; Procházka, Josef (advisor) ; Brdička, Bořivoj (referee)
TITLE: Educational programs in the www enviroment ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to analyze the availability of educational web site aimed at teaching media and evaluate them on the basis of a given set of criteria and to moni- tor the situation in secondary schools in terms of the use of tutorials on the web. Sub- sequently, a methodology of the previous educational sites is developed. It is also deployed in the teaching and verified in the practice, thus obtaining feedback, which will serve to further develop this environment. KEYS WORDS: sound, image, video interactivity, multimedia feedback, mobility, language, complexity
Unconventional Means of expression and techniques. Mathematical principles in comparing unconventional visual and musical art

PhDr. Jaroslav Bláha, Ph.D. Abstract The thesis deals with a comparative analysis of a project called Poéme électronique in the Philips Pavilion (1958), while an emphasis is put on its mathematical background and broader interdisciplinal contexts. Particular attention is devoted to grand oldman Iannis Xenakis. The thesis tries to interpret the phenomenon of Electronic poetry, which we understand as an effort to design a multimedia "Gesamtkunstwerk". This brings the necessitate of the multi-specialized synthetic approach in searching of a relationship between the kinds of arts, and the analysis of interactions of individual project components.
Therapeutical procedures based on acoustic and communicative material
Bečvářová, Jana ; Volín, Jan (advisor) ; Skarnitzl, Radek (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to explain therapeutic possibilities of sound in all its connections. Sound is described in relation to several disciplines. Initially, sound is presented as an acoustic and psychoacoustic phenomenon, followed by characterization of physiology of auditory system and findings from psychology of music. The focus of the thesis is anchored in the chapter dedicated to healing and corrective effects of sound - the music therapy. After short history context is presented, the characteristics and analysis of contemporary situation are discussed. Several types of sound - noise, music and sound of speech - are studied in their positive as well as negative influence on psychic and physical health of human. Current research is represented by selection of relevant papers (n=9) which are assessed by the criterion of credibility and rigidness of methodology. This aspect is also perceived as an essential one for the future research in the area of sound effect on human psychic and physical health.
Use of music therapy for physically disabled
Janyška, Jan ; Valešová Malecová, Barbara (advisor) ; Lipský, Matěj (referee)
Title: The use of music therapy for physically disabled Author: Bc. Jan Janyška Leading: Mgr. Barbara Valešová Malecová, Ph. D. Summary The thesis is trying to clarify the base of constantly developing discipline called music therapy, specifically music therapy for people with specific needs. In the introduction the psychological value of physical disability is mentioned with a focus on a cerebral palsy. The theoretical chapter is dealing with an impact of sound on a human body considering the music therapy. Practical part is focused on designing a music therapy plan which was subsequently applied in practice with physically disabled people. Key words Physical disability, cerebral palsy, sound, music, music therapy
UNTITLED
Ambrůz, Kryštof ; Mazanec,, Martin (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
In my diploma thesis I do not deal with anything, I do not touch anything, and in the end I do not want to do anything. I work without a theme, without motivation.
