Personal data protection with focus on processing and protection in civil aviation

Personal Data Protection with Focus on Processing and Protection in Civil Aviation This diploma thesis focuses on the matter of EU legal regulation of personal data protection and reflects it in the field of civil aviation with focus on commercial air transport, as commercial air transport is at this moment the area of civil aviation where most of the personal data processing and operations with them are made. The goals of this diploma thesis are mainly to describe respective personal data processing in civil aviation and finding out whether GDPR represents an insurmountable legal obstacle for air carriers and civil aviation to operate or whether it is just another complicated act of legislation that air carriers and other entities in civil aviation must reflect. The first chapter of the thesis briefly introduces the history of personal data protection while presenting some of its past and current sources of legislation. Moreover, the first chapter introduces certain legal institutes of current EU personal data protection legislation and draws attention to the continuity and discontinuity of GDPR with the previous one. Protection of Personal Data

This rigorous thesis deals with the protection of personal data. This is an issue relating to each of us, thereby personal data and its protection becomes very significant legal phenomenon. The thesis includes alongside the initial part, where a concept of personal data and a sense of its protection is described, also treatise on historical development of international law on protection of personal data and on constitutional ground too. The largest part is devoted to the Act on the Protection of Personal Data and its legal regulation of protection of personal data, which is also the main formal source of its legislation. It is followed by the part dedicated to the protection of personal data according to selected special laws. And the last part of the thesis is a treatise on the possibilities of judicial protection. The thesis strives for comprehensive and thoroughgoing analysis of protection of personal data in terms of generally binding legal regulations, and for the identification of weaknesses in the legislation on protection of personal data, as well as for its clear and logical submission eligible also for use of law laymen.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of personal data protection in the practice of financial advisers. The first part focuses on the legal regulation of the protection of personal data from the point of view of the original legislation according to Act No. 101/2000 Coll., On the Protection of Personal Data, also from the perspective of Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as well as from the point of view of the draft law on the processing of personal data which was not till the date of the surrender of this work approved (Parliamentary Press 138). In practise part, the knowledge of existing financial advisors and their strengths and weaknesses were identified through questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews. Here are recommendations for new financial advisers in cooperation with the headquarters.

97 Data processing and data protection in connection with employment Abstract This work is dedicated to issues concerning data processing in connection with employment. Given the extensiveness of this topic, this thesis focuses primarily on the processing of personal data prior to the establishment of an employment relationship. The main area of study is the job applicants' data processing in different model situations. The aim of this thesis is to establish a solution for how to process candidates' personal data in order to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation. The goal is accomplished by applying the General Data Protection Regulation to particular model situations. This work is divided into three chapters. Chapter 1 deals with the history of the data protection law and presents differences between the right to data protection and the right to privacy. It also discusses the current legal regulations in the General Data Protection Regulation and the Czech Data Processing Act and gives reasons for adoption of such legislation. Chapter 2 concentrates primarily on the key terminology of the data protection laws. Personal data protection while carrying on business

Personal data protection is only one of many specific fields of administrative law. In everyday life, personal data and their protection are quite wide area that deserves our full attention and it's possible to study it extensively. This diploma thesis deals specifically with personal data protection while processing them. First of all, it defines the right to privacy and the term personal data. Further, it deals with basic legal requirements concerning personal data processing based on Act no. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data, including transfer of personal data to other countries and its recent development in Safe Harbor principles that are rules for transfer of personal data into United States of America. Besides personal data being a unique tool to distinguish individuals from each other, they are a very useful and valuable tool in business too. Therefore the most common way of personal data processing is while carrying on a business. At the end of this thesis, some specific situations were chosen to demonstrate how entrepreneurs process personal data of their customers and other persons they come into contact with. Then the basic obligations of data processing are analyzed with respect to real situations.
