The role of the minor patient in the decision-making process regarding the provided health care

The bachelor's thesis entitled "The role of the minor patient in the decision-making process about the provided health care" deals with the issue of the rights of child patients and their respect. The work tries to outline the issue of providing health care to minor patients, its pitfalls and possible solutions to related problems. The aim of the work was to map the knowledge of minor patients in the area of their rights in the provision of health care and to evaluate their respect by health workers. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a basic overview of legal sources that regulate the role of minor patients in the provision of health care. This part of the work further outlines selected topics of the given issue from the point of view of valid legislation and points out possible pitfalls in practice. The empirical part presents the results of own work and their comparison with the results of other researches. The research method was a questionnaire of our own construction, which was distributed in the outpatient clinic of a general practitioner for children and adolescents. In the study itself were included 92 duly completed questionnaires. The need for intimacy of male patients 65+

This work focuses on the issue of intimacy among patients aged 65 and over in a hospital setting. The aim was to examine the specifics of intimacy needs, perceptions of intimacy maintenance, and healthcare professionals' approach to these needs. The theoretical part addressed definitions and delineations of basic concepts such as need, intimacy, human dignity, ethics, mandatory confidentiality, and patient rights. The empirical part was conducted through qualitative research, involving interviews with patients aged 65 and over and healthcare professionals. The results confirmed that men in this age group exhibit a high sensitivity to maintaining their privacy and dignity during hospitalization. They also showed a willingness to communicate with healthcare professionals about their intimacy needs. It was found that individual intimacy needs vary greatly and depend on patients' personal preferences, health status, and lifestyle. The conclusions underscore the importance of providing individualized care that respects these differences and highlight the need for further exploration of this issue.

This work describes the design, construction a performance of such a complete wireless pager suitable for health care centers, rest homes, home application, for example for calling an attendant. This appliance is designed to be easy to attendance. A wireless transceiver is simplified and is attended only by one button. A wireless receiver also doesn't require a complicated manipulation. The aim is to create pager, which will be an useful assistant thanks to its price and simple construction.
The Role of Video Games in Health Care and Medical Training

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možným využitím počítačových her a technologiemi s nimi spojených v rámci medicínského vzdělávání a zdravotní péči. Veřejnost často vnímá videohry jako ztrátu času, nebo je využívají pouze pro zábavu. Cílem této práce je proto prokázat jejich využitelnost a pozitivní vliv na již zmínění medicínský vzdělání a zdravotní péči. První část práce pojednává o vlivu her na vzdělávání studentů medicíny, lékařů i pacientů a zároveň jej kriticky analyzuje. Druhá část je zaměřena na využití her ve zdravotní péči, jako je například terapie dětí s autismem nebo dětskou mozkovou obrnou, dále jako možnost redukování bolesti, či způsob objevování nových biochemických látek a struktur. Záměrem práce je zabývat se nejen počítačovými hrami, ale také s nimi spojenými technologiemi jako je virtuální a rozšířená realita, které ještě násobí zkušenosti získané v medicínském vzdělání.

The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of a CRM system in a selected company dealing with the sale of medical supplies in the Vysočina region. The theoretical part of the work contains a basic definition of concepts falling into the field of modern technologies of the 21st century. The aim of the theoretical part is to create a means for the reader to search for selected analyzes, which will be used in the next part of the work. These are the Canvas business model, SWOT analysis, risk analysis and other use of tools. The analytical part creates an overview of the use of methods and analyzes in a particular company and shows the direct application in practice. The final part of the work is devoted to the process of implementing a CRM system into business practice with subsequent use in specific internal processes within business activities. This design part describes the internal processes before implementation and then outlines the methodological work after the already implied system into the process.
Demografický a epidemiologický vývoj ve středoasijských republikách bývalého SSSR po jeho rozpadu

The bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of demographic and epidemiological developments in the Central Asian republics of the former USSR after its collapse, focusing on the situation of the poorest countries of the region, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and the associated health challenges. During the existence of the USSR, the Central Asian republics underwent a series of reforms in the political, economic and social spheres, accompanied by a somewhat positive impact on the demographic and epidemiological situation of the region. The collapse of the Soviet regime caused a temporary disruption of the hitherto existing developments and a collapse of the demographic and epidemiological achievements made, leaving the region once again at the beginning of its struggle against diseases and the associated morbidity and mortality problems. The aim of this paper is to determine the demographic and epidemiological situation prevailing in the countries of Central Asia after the collapse of the USSR using selected indicators, and in particular to analyze the development of health policies and programs implemented by governments and health organizations in the countries of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in the context of developments since the collapse of the USSR and their success.
Migrant Parents in the Czech Republic: Child Health Care Experiences and Attitudes Towards Childhood Vaccination

This thesis presents data gained from qualitative research that took place in Prague, Czech Republic during winter 2022 and spring 2023. The aim was to find out how foreign mothers perceive the local health care system and mandatory immunization scheme. The theoretical part presents information and statistics related to immunization worldwide and in the Czech Republic. The sociological theoretical part discusses Parsons' and other researchers' work on doctor-patient relationship and Beck's risk society in relation to immunization. The research is based on in-depth semi-structured interviews with 14 women who are migrant mothers. All except one interview was conducted online via the Zoom platform. The analysed data presents, firstly, the informants' experiences with healthcare for children; secondly, their communication and relationship with paediatricians; and thirdly, their general attitudes and sources of information used to make immunization choices for their children. The results demonstrate the importance for these mothers' sense of agency and wellbeing of building trusting relationships, sharing decision making and choosing the appropriate language(s) for communication.
