Voice-controlled app for capturing photos and clips
Jurčík, Adam Dalibor ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this work is to create an application that solves the problems of video and photo recording while the same person is playing sports. These problems are, for example, the need to carry a remote control or the constant interruption of the activity due to manual activation. This is solvedby using voice control and keywords to trigger the taking of a photo. This paper discusses in detail how voice control can be implemented on Android operating system in Java programming language. It also includes an explanation of how to store these files and how to control hardware devices such as the camera. The thesis includes a more detailed description of two approaches to voice recognition and describes their functionality in different applications.
Human-machine collaboration - using speech processing
Kisler, Štěpán ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Juříček, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a voice control system for the UR3 CB series collaborative robot from Universal Robots, aiming to simplify human-robot interaction. The introduction provides an overview of collaborative robotics, including its history, successful applications, and the possibilities of programming collaborative robots. Additionally, it explores speech recognition technology, covering its applications, history, and methods. The practical section compares existing speech recognition systems and selects the most suitable one for robot voice control. It also details the development of a voice control program in Python and the testing of the entire system, both in simulation and real-world conditions in a robotics laboratory.
Using of voice for home eguipment control
Bubla, Lukáš ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on home automation, specifically on voice control. It describes methods of communication and control of automated systems and especially problematics of computer voice recognition using different methods. The thesis displays specific product for voice controlling developed by Czech company Elko ep, s.r.o. and then briefly looks at the issue of gesture control. At the end compares product from Elko ep with other products from foreign companies and discuss advantages and disadvantages of voice or gestures control.
Development of an IoT System for Home Appliances
Vančo, Timotej ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Lázna, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to make a research of the current state of IoT and then propose the creation of my own IoT solution for smart home. It also aims to select the appropriate components for the custom solution from which the system will compose and design an appropriate communications interface with option to secure communicate with each other. Then revive the hardware of sensor modules, actuators and control system. The system should be capable of displaying measured data and enabling actuators to control. The final goal is to control the system with voice commands. The theoretical part is focused on description of what is IoT, history, usage and near future of IoT. Furthermore, the currently used IoT classifications and IoT systems in smart homes are described from a commercial and open-source perspective. The theoretical part ends with the comparison of voice assistants and the way the text is understood by the computer. The practical part deals with the description of own solution, selection of components for modules, creation of printed circuits, designing boxes for 3D printing, creation software for individual modules for measurement, communication and control of intelligent home. Next, I am writing about a system that displays measured values from modules, creates a user interface, and controls action members using buttons or voice commands.
Voice Controlled Calculator
Pavelek, Ota ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Grézl, František (advisor)
This thesis describes implementation of calculator, which can be controlled by both voice and normal way. Speech recognizing is realized with BSCORE library and has recognition network restricted to words needed by calculator. When the recognition is done, recognized sentence is transformed to expression and shown to user, so it can be corrected (especially in case of erroneous recognition). Expression is evaluated on user's request. The purpose of voice control is to make usage of calculator more effective and accesible for handicapped users.
Voice controlled robot in ROS framework
Černák, Ondrej ; Kůdela, Jakub (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibility of controlling a robot using voice and designing a robot in ROS Framework, that can execute simple motions. The thesis contains brief search about ROS Framework and the possibilities of voice-controlled robots. The next part deals with creating a model of a robot, implementing a speech recognition system and the use of said system to control a robot.
Voice Controled Map of FIT
Huták, Petr ; Grézl, František (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the design and developement of navigation system for the Faculty of information technology, Brno university of technology with voice control. It explains the methods used for finding the shortest path on the map, speech recognition and describes existing navigation systems with voice control. The thesis is focused on creating a user interface with voice control. The purpose of voice control is to make usage of this navigation system more accesible and effective in a public place. Speech recognizing is realized with BSAPI library.
Voice control of cooperative robots
Bubla, Lukáš ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to create a program with which it will be possible to control a collaborative robot by voice. First chapters contain a search of the current state in the field of collaborative robotics in terms of safety, work efficiency, robot programming and communication with the robot. Furthermore, the issue of machine processing of the human voice is discussed. In practical part was proposed an experiment in which we work with off-line simulation of UR3 robot in PolyScope 3.15.0 software. This simulation was linked to a Python program which uses SpeechRecognition and urx libraries. Simple voice instructions have been designed to move robot to defined position.
Voice Control of Industrial and Medical Devices in Noisy Environments
Vymětalíková, Lucie ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with voice control of industrial and medical devices in noisy environments. Different speech recognition models and methods for noise supression in speech signals are compared. Based on the research and conducted testing, a custom voice control system is designed. The system consists of a wake word detection model and a model for the predefined commands recognition. An audio response for the operator and a script execution based on the recognized commands is also implemented in the system. A modification for automatic door opening of the OpenTube2 laboratory box was designed.
