Revitalization of the selected section of the River
Bakala, Filip ; Petr, Pelikán (referee) ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with revitalization of the selected part of river Drevnice. Main scopes of the work are proposals of fish passages through migration barriers. The work is conceived on four levels. The first of them is dealing with the general characteristics of selected segment and with description of objects on watercourse. The second level is dealing with revitalization, where the basic information about migration and efficiency of fishes are described. In this chapter basic distribution of fish ladders is included. In third part, which is the most comprehensive, I design a boulder fish ramp and bypass channel. The last chapter contains drawings documentation of watercourse Drevnice and my own proposed revitalization elements.
Revitalisation of the Kyjovka river
Grmelová, Eliška ; Julínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of revitalization of the Kyjovka river situated in Městský park. The object of the work is to design possible connections with the park area. The work contains 3 proposed and assessed variants of revitalization.
Small water course restoration and its integration to the territorial systems of ecological stability
Blatecká, Markéta ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with hydro-ecological monitoring and evaluation of watercourses using the HEM 2014 methodology - Methodology of monitoring hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses and Methodology of type-specific evaluation of hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses. The methodology is under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment and it responds to the Water Framework Directive. Part of the work is a literary research focused on related topics, especially the revitalization and territorial system of ecological stability. Practical part includes monitoring and evaluation of a small watercourse. For a part of a watercourse there is a designed a plan to improve its condition with integration into the ÚSES.
Proposal of the water divider on the river Romže
Blaha, Josef ; Zedníček, Jiří (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of the water divider near Prostějov on the Romže River. Divider flows will be transferred into the Hloučela River. Within the thesis, hydraulic calculations of the side spillway were solved according to Bürgel, Pavlosky, Engels, Musterle, Kunštátský, Hager and energy solution methods in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and by using the HEC-RAS program as well. The calculations were compared to each other. Geometry of the relief water divider on the Romže River and the related buildings was designed based on the performed calculations. The required function of the relief object is guaranteed by manipulation of designed sluice gate. The study includes the text part with the calculations and the drawing part documenting the implementation of the designed measures.
Monitoring of the spread of pollution on the physical model of the watercourse
Marek, Ondřej ; Novotná, Jitka (referee) ; Pařílková, Jana (advisor)
On the built physical model of the watercourse, a bachelor's thesis is looking for a suitable substance that would allow simulating and monitoring the pollution transport by the method of electrical impedance spectrometry. Physical model based on the similarity of physical phenomena allowed the application of tracers and measurement of their concentration in selected flow profiles at a defined flow. The measurements were made by measuring apparatus made by the solution of the international project E! 7614 applied research in the EUREKA program as part of its sustainability.
Design of Inflatable Weir in Oslavany
Kocman, Tomáš ; Moronga, Jan (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
This thesis describes the current state of the river Oslava in Oslavany design and reconstruction of the existing fixed weir in the affected location. As a best alternative reconstruction of the existing fixed weir reconstruction was chosen the hard threshold floating weir inflatable weirs. The next part of the thesis describes the proposed solution, and the last part of the thesis deals with the assessment of the proposed solutions.
Hydromorphological monitoring of small water course and possibilities of its improvement
Jurenka, Marek ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with hydro-ecological monitoring of watercourses according to requirements of the European Water Framework Directive with using methodology type-specific evaluation of hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality of watercourses (HEM 2014). The practical part deals with the given watercourse according to the already mentioned methodology and for selected parts are made proposals to improve its overall state. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the nameless watercourse and propose the possibilities of its improvement
The Morava River and its influence on the development of the town of Uherské Hradiště
Hlaváčková, Kateřina ; Tichý, Jan (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis maps the development of the Morava river and the origin and development of the town of Uherské Hradiště. It also deals with the regulation of the river and the development of parts of the city that arose after the regulation. There are also described floods on the Morava river and Olšava and then also the flood of 1997, which hit Uherské Hradiště. Related to this is the subsequent description of flood control measures. The last chapter suggests how the river can be connected with the city today.
Regulation of the river
Varga, Tomáš ; Pilařová, Pavla (referee) ; Šlezingr, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of current state of selected part of the river and deal with regulativ of river. The work is conceived on four different levels. The first on eis describesing general characteristics of the selected selection. Second concern calculation of capacity and following river regulativ. Next part contains proposal of vegetation belt. The last part is about drawing of current state and also river regulativ features.
Design of micro hydro power plant
Pušec, Daniel ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
Hydropower, in large or small scale, is by far the most important source of renewable energy worldwide. It provides about 19% of world’s elektricity. Small hydropower plants are one of the most cost-effective and enviroment benign technology. Currently installed capacity in Europe is about 180GW (exluding pumped storage plants), but it is covered by nearly 90% by large scale hydrpower plants. In Czech republic, about 3% of all produced elektricity is covered by hydrpower plants, exactly about 2,400 GWh anually. Nowadays, it is already exploited nearly 2/3 of all technically available hydro potential for small, mini and microhydro power plants in Czech republic. Unexploited is about 30%, it correspondents to 600 GWh annually. This thesis follows-up with design of micro hydropower plant, which includes choosing of suitable place for the plant and design its hydroenergetic solution.
