This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the drainage pipeline of the Škoda K 220-44 steam turbine. This turbine is operated in Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. One part of this work is proposal of corrective measures. The aims of this work include the creation of a search for drainage, steam, erosion corrosion and mapping of defects in long-term operated drainage system. Work also includes the evaluation of measured values of the pipe wall thickness measured by ultrasonic analyzer. In addition, the work contains images created from 3D model, on which the location of defects and measurements are displayed.
Connection of Solar Power Plant and Water management
Zajíček, Michal ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
In the bachelor's thesis Connection of Solar Power Plant and Water management the author designs the technical solution of pump control using solar energy. The main reason is to make an automatic system for pumping the rainwater through filters due to increasing its quality. Powering the device with a solar power plant will reduce the energy requirements and will also make it possible to store surplus energy from the solar power plant into the potential energy of the water. The result of the work is the compact device with an automatic control system designed to control small 12 V pumps, theoretical design of the photovoltaic power plant to power the device and theoretical analysis of solar energy and water management issues.
Water Treatment Plants in the Czech Republic
Pavlů, Tomáš ; Vašalovská, Petra (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis is aimed on establishing of well arranged catalogue of selected water treatment plants in the Czech Republic, with special regard to basic information about particular plants. The first part is focused on general information about Czech water treatment plants, followed by water treatment categorization using several criteria, and the most commonly used water treatment technologies in the Czech Republic. The fourth part of the thesis is concentrated on data acquisition and its evaluation. Last but one part is represented by description of the individually visited water treatment plant. Finally, the thesis is completed with a catalogue of basic information about selected water treatment plants.
Corporate headquarters Dlabaja a.s.
Dlabaja, Adam ; Burianová, Lenka (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The project documentation, processed in the framework of the diploma thesis, solves the new building of the administrative building of the building company in the village Lukov u Moravských Budějovic. The building is made of traditional brick technology therm tl. 50 cm, without insulation, ceilings are reinforced concrete, flat roof, vegetation. Vegetation is also part of the facade of the building, which at the same time serves as a root cleaner. The philosophy of the whole design is to create a high-quality working environment for building company employees, a pleasant environment for customers and to best solve the environmental footprint of the building. The building is designed as a modern office building, with space for leisure activities of staff and their visits, taking into account the responsible approach to the development industrial site and the surrounding nature. The building efficiently manages potable, rain and wastewater, the envelope of the building, and the individual structures are designed to make the entire building as energy-consuming as possible, and do not pump irreparably by nature its natural resources in a larger quantity than necessary.
Renovation and reconstruction of small water reservoir
Pavlík, Tomáš ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)

Service operation of nuclear power plants
Krutiš, Petr ; Foral, Štěpán (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the service operations that are essential for the smooth running of the Dukovany Nuclear Power Station. The first part describes the nuclear power station with its VVER 440 reactors; it particularly describes basic devices of the primary circuit, which include a nuclear reactor, a steam generator, the main circulating pump, a pressurizer and the main closing fitting. The next chapter concerns water management, whose main objective is pumping crude water and treating it so that it can be used in technological circuits of the power plant as well as in secondary systems, which maintain the required parameters and conditions necessary for the operation of basic devices of the primary circuit. The secondary systems secure compensation of reactivity changes in the reactor. Next, they secure refilling, cleaning and degassing of the coolant. The final part of this Bachelor thesis describes an increase of the electrical output of one of Dukovany's units to 500 MW and its effect on the secondary systems of the primary circuit. The main adjustments before the output increase were performed on secondary circuit devices and electrical devices. Primary circuit's machinery remained unchanged.
Design of a building using alternative materials with respect to the requirements for sustainable development
Dvořák, Jakub ; Remeš, Josef (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a small family house, which construction uses alternative building materials. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the world, European and Czech legislation related to sustainable development. The concept of ecological construction, which focuses on the possibilities of reducing the negative impacts of construction production on the environment at various stages of construction and on energy, material, water and waste management, is also presented. The thesis also describes advantages and disadvantages of particular solutions. In the second part of the thesis, which based on theoretical knowledge, is the design of a family house from alternative materials worked out. The design of the study in the scale of 1:100 consists of measured floor plan drawings of all storeys, characteristic measured section drawings, layout plans with displayed furniture and equipment, elevation drawings of particular facades, roof drawings and situation design. The drawing part is accompanied by a text part. The processed design is compared to the reference building and then evaluated from the point of view of functional, economic, environmental and social requirements.
