The influence of decreasing of impeller diameter, change Q - Y characteristic

The purpose of the thesis is to familiarize with the fundamental characteristics of ta centrifugal pump while changing geometry of the output section of its impeller trimming. Characteristics of a pump is calculated whilst diameter of the impeller is changed. More specifically, changes in the flow and energy are observed while diameter of the impeller is decreasing. Two possible solutions, approximate and accurate, are offered for both parameters. The thesis suggests that an application of the approximate solution is satisfactory for the flow calculation of the impeller. In contrast, for the energy calculation is the approximate solution sufficient only in case of the slight trimming. Increase in the trimming results in the drop of the hydraulic efficiency and decrease in the accuracy of the results. Consequently, the accurate solution is recommended for the energy calculations. Limitations of the paper may be represented by two facts. First, in comparison with the calculations, results are in reality affected my numerous variables that have not been included in the calculations due to their unpredictability. Second, calculations were based on the several assumptions that are rarely met in the reality. The results of the thesis are applicable in the every-day life when adapting the pump to the customer needs.
Production of forging piece "Spanner"

Projects developed within the bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, presented a proposal technology forged wrench - the hot-rolled steel bars 11 523.0. The thesis also compares the past with conventional methods of production and considering the new technological process of manufacturing. Based on the literature studies about fitting and calculations, was chosen to die forging hammer KHZ 2 A (producer ŠMERAL Brno, plant Hronov), with nominal energy of 20 kJ working pressure of 16 MPa and 30 kW electric power.
Design of voltage reference circuit in ONSemi I3T technology

Voltage references form an essential part of most integrated circuits. The aim of this thesis is to describe their principle and design complete circuit including layout in ONSemi I3T technology. Bandgap voltage reference with 1,25 V out-put and with preregulator was designed. Five-bit trimming circuit was used to increase accuracy.

A materiál of a forget piece is steel ČSN 12 050, provided as a semi – finished product in a form of a bar 210 mm, lenght 4 000 mm. The particular dimension stocks with be cut from it to forge out a part. Production work is 100 000 pcs. Based on studies of technologies, suitable for producing the part a specific two stage technology of a drop forging was chozen on a vertical forging press LMZ 6 500, with induction heating of the semi – finished product and a product – trim of fin and pellicle or a trimming press LDO 315 A/S. For this alternate all the required calculations are realized of swages and all the necessary machines for the production of are quested enganget part.
The Issue of Trimming and Punching of the Forged Piece

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of tool for punching and trimming of the forged case, made from 14 331 steel. Forging will be done on forging press LMZ 1 000 made by Šmeral Brno, a. s. The dies are made from 19 552 steel. Production series is 520 000 pieces per year. The tool is designed as progressive. Simulation of the forging process in FormFEM software has been done, because of evaluation of the trimming and punching temperature. Based on calculated punching and trimming force the press S 160 E made by Šmeral Brno, a. s., was chosen. Piercing punches and dies are produced from instrumental steel 19 550, with heat treatment according to design documentation. To conclude, the economical evaluation was done. The bachelor thesis was done in cooperation with Šmeral Brno, a. s.
Fixing of Facial Triangle Meshes

The purpose of this work is to create an algorithm for automatic cleaning and trimming of three-dimensional facial scans. In view of that, we have developed an algorithm which consists of three central parts. The frst part is a novel landmark detection algorithm based on discrete diferential geometry and machine learning methods. The second part is represented by a method removing defects, spikes, and blobs and the last part is an enhancement of an algorithm for hole flling. The outcome of this work is a program which can automatically clean and trim three-dimensional facial scans and moreover, it can detect nose tip, nose root, and mouth and eye corners. As our testing has shown, the program performs well on facial scans produced by the optical scanner Vectra3D.

Design of Voltage Reference Circuit in OnSemi I3T Technology

The aim of this paper is to design accurate bandgap voltage reference circuit in OnSemi I3T technology. A trimming technique with transistor switches is utilized to adjust output reference voltage and reduce overall error of circuit. The functionality was verified in industrial temperature range with consideration of manufacturing process tolerances using Cadence environment.
