V roce 2007 byly získány podklady autorů vybraných map náležejících do oddílů atlasu krajiny k hodnocení obsahu a technické kvality. Nebyla provedena kompletace atlasu jako celku. Zpráva obsahuje Seznam autorů Atlasu krajiny, seznam institucí Atlasu krajiny. Seznam přijatých a nepřijatých mapových oddílů. Makety Atlasu krajiny je samostatnou přílohou. Projekt je zaměřen na maximální využití potenciálu indikátorů materiálových a energetických toků pro monitorování vazeb mezi životním prostředím, ekonomikou a společností. Řeší některé metodické otázky, které se vztahují k sestavování a interpretaci indikátorů. Zpráva obsahuje následující kapitoly: Analýza materiálových a energetických toků jako nástroj pro měření socioekonomického metabolismu, Aktualizace časových řad indikátorů materiálových a energetických toků, Výpočet vstupních indikátorů materiálových a energetických toků pro ekonomické sektory, Strukturální dekompoziční analýza indikátorů materiálových a energetických toků, Kvalifikace fyzických zásob a predikce budoucích odpadních materiálových toků pro městskou úroveň, Analýzy časového vývoje indikátorů materiálových a energetických toků a Sledování mezinárodního vývoje a reportovacích povinností v oblasti indikátorů materiálových a energetických toků.

Family of mentally handicapped child and society, or look at the ethical approach of professionals and social environment through the eyes of the family

This diploma project deals with how a family with mental handicapped child perceives the social environment and the stand of experts on themselves. The work includes basic concepts relating to the issues examined here. The thesis also mentions the importance of ethical codes of expert professions such as doctors, social workers and educators. The way how the doctors should communicate with the parents of handicapped child and how to advise the parents of inconvenient diagnosis. The thesis also deals with how the families put up with diagnosis of their child in different stages. Theoretical chapter explains how the family could be threatened by the social exclusion. The research section describes the data collection, witch was realized by interviews the families of handicapped children. The analysis of responses to predetermined research questions follows the methodology of data collection. Final results are summarized in tables.

Societ\`{a} Dante Alighieri and her part in the diffusion of Italian culture

The aim of the thesis is analyzing in details the activities of Dante Alighieri Society: from the foundation in 1889 up to the present days. The main purpose is to introduce the organization, its main aims and ways of achieving them. A part of the thesis describes the Society structure, another part is dedicated to Dante Alighieri Society of Prague and its activities. Then, one of the chapters describes the official website of Dante Alighieri Society and the information a services it offers. In the final part, the said Society is compared to similar world organizations dealing in a certain language and culture diffusion.

Influence of internet on our society

Aim of this work is to gain insight into the problem of internet and it's influence on our society. Firstly we focus on the internet itself, how to define it and what can we imagine that this word means. Then we get to influence of the internet on our intelligence and changing of understanding, what is the meaning of "to be intelligent." We also notice the transformation from traditional relationships towards the new electronic form on the internet. We also get to the question of internet and it's effect on our ethics, and the difference between our feeling about today situation and how the situation really is. In the end we commit synthesis of findings and think about impact on our society.

Globalization processes and their influence on society on the example of Czech Republic's membership in the European Union

This thesis deals with the globalization processes and their influence on society. The aim is to analyze the social consequences of globalization and to point out that globalization processes do not have only economic but also social consequences. It was used the available literature and relevant statistics and also a survey among young Czech people was carried out. Firstly, the thesis focuses on a definition and characteristics of the concept of globalization, its historical development and the characteristics of globalization processes. In the next section, attention is payed to the influence of globalization on the society as a whole and also on specific aspects. In the last part, the paper focuses on the Czech Republic and its membership in the European Union as one of the examples of globalization processes that our state and Czech society experience. The last part presents the results of the survey devoted to this topic. The main conclusion is that the impact of globalization on society should not be neglected, and vice versa should be in the spotlight as strongly affects our everyday lives.

The analysis of immigration and integration policies in France and Germany

The bachelor thesis is, in its main part, focused on the analysis and the comparison of the immigration and integration policies in France and Germany. The work deals chronologically with the development of these policies since the end of the World War II to the present day. The study of the approaches of previously mentioned states of the immigration and the integration is dealt with the form of content analysis and consequential synthesis of staged information. The findings obtained are subsequently compared by using the historical-comparative method. The part of the thesis is also the characteristic of certain general concepts and theoretical models of approach to immigration and integration, which are the crucial issues.

The influence of media on perception and behavior in the period of the economic crisis 2008-2009

The work examines the influence of media on Czech society during the economic crisis of 2008-2009. The theoretical part contains an analysis of human communication and analysis of Czech mass media. Briefly describes the causes of economic crisis and its media coverage in the years. The observed background is verified online through a structured questionnaire. The practical part of the study contains evaluated data exploration and suggested solutions to identified problems to prevent the negative influence of media on Czech society.
