These activites are not perceived only from the cultural history perspective, but more importantly with the help of andragogy and learning society concept. In conclusion, the thesis will focus on such specific educational and cultural topics and not only its impact on the parallel polis of dissent, but on the society in general, as well. Samizdat Journal Obsah Published in the Years 1981-1985
ŠTOLFA, Daniel
This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of individual issues of the samizdat magazine Obsah, which was published between 1981 and 1989, but the thesis focuses only on the 1981-1985 editions, as the following editions reflected the political and social situation and focused on the reflection of political events. The analysis is set in the context of the normalisation period and reflects the periodical's contemporary language also in terms of its engagement with the political and cultural events of the time. It assesses the role the periodical played in the context of the totalitarian regime and how it contributed to the development of a parallel cultural space. The aim of this analysis is to reflect on the intent and purpose of the published texts, the change in the form of the journal or the shift of the periodical, or what themes were present in the contributions. The thesis then presents a picture of the periodical as the activity of a group of writers in an unauthorized artistic space and the situation of this creative activity. At the same time, the thesis attempts to portray the different areas that the articles covered and what thematic and genre range they covered.

Shaping the Europeanization in Diplomacy: Development of the Czech "Dissident Tradition" in European-Related ideas
Yang, Zihan ; Matějka, Ondřej (advisor) ; Handl, Vladimír (referee)
This master's thesis examines the evolution of dissident European-related thoughts and the relationship between these thoughts and the practice of Czech Europeanization, especially in the field of foreign policy. The goal of the thesis is to analyze whether these developing ideas served as a theoretical basis for later European-related foreign political practices, both in terms of the activities of dissident politicians and in terms of the continuation of its diplomatic paradigms and ideologies on a larger period. Therefore, this thesis takes a Reflectivism stance by examining the development of European-related ideas of three selected Czech dissidents (Václav Havel, Jiří Dienstbier and Petr Pithart) in chronological order. It then analyzes how these ideas have changed in the political practices and reflections of the dissidents after 1989. The three selected dissidents are famous figures both in the political sphere and among dissidents, and their literature significantly contributed to this topic, which made their views become representative within the scope of this research topic. The thesis concludes that the dissidents' European discourse had deep historical and philosophical roots. Film and regime. Official and unofficial reflection of normalization film-making
Shehatová, Amira ; Klimeš, Ivan (advisor) ; Přádná, Stanislava (referee)
In my bachelor's thesis I deal with the reflection of selected normalization films of Věra Chytilová and Jiří Menzel in official as well as unofficial press. I am not concerned with the films on their own but rather with the reactions in newspapers, samizdat and exile periodicals. First I outline the contemporary historical and social context. Further I pay attention how did the changed political arrangement influenced the official culture and media. Then I continue with alternative culture description which includes printing the samizdat periodicals. To complete the picture I include the texts from exile periodicals as well. Next two chapters of my thesis examine the particular texts in detail. I was mainly interested in how the critics percieve the same films from thier different ideological, social and geographical position. What they can agree on and when on the contrary their views are completely different. Key words: film, normalization, samizdat, exile, Věra Chytilová, Jiří Menzel
