Analyse of State Microeconomic Policy in the Period of Economic Depression

The thesis is focused on critical analyse of each anti-crisis measures, which should regenerate the economy in the Czech Republic during the global economic crisis. All accepted measures are in the thesis analysed - primarily their purpose, expected results and the probable influence on single microeconomic subject. Author is also focused on the nonaccepted, discussed anti-crisis measures and he adds his own suggestions, which should eliminate the adverse effects of crisis on the Czech economy.
Lender of Last Resort

The topic of the final thesis is The Lender of Last Resort. Author of the final thesis has dealt with the issue through the analysis of the European current legislation, available Czech or foreign literature or other relevant sources. The function of the national banks, or other institutions, as a lender of last resort is very complex the final thesis examines from the legal and economical perspective. This matter even has obvious global societal dimension when the adequate performance of the lender of last resort has positive effect on the prosperity of the society. On the other hand when the performance is defective the opposite effect arises. The final thesis is divided into five chapters. First two chapters present and clarify the term of lender of last resort and provide us definitions. Second chapter, which builds upon the first two, is providing the reader with the historical context of the lender of last resort, whose development started on the British Islands at the end of the 18th century. The fourth chapter of the final thesis is dedicated to the criteria for granting financial aid by the lender of last resort and the means of the provision of the financial aid. The bachelor thesis deals with recommendations for owners and management of banks, how to manage the bank in crisis situations with using suitable instruments of risk management. Risk management is reflected in the ability to identify, measure and appropriately manage the risk. The thesis provides information about the im-pact of the crisis on the two selected states and the analysis of the financial stability of the large banks of each state. The analysis is made by balance indicators and ratio using the annual reports for individual periods. Recommendations for owners and management of banks are to avoid from risk loans, to create enough reserves and to keep adjustments above the specified limit and to keep sufficient liquidity.
The Impact of the Global Crisis 2008-2009 on the US Economic Policy Development

The aim of the thesis is to characterize the development of economic policy from the beginning of the financial crisis to the current policy in the United States and to determine the impact of this policy on the economy of the United States. The first chapter of this thesis deals generally with the global crisis and solves the cause of the crisis. The second chapter deals with economic policy and describes anti-crisis measures of fiscal and monetary policy. The last chapter deals with the development of key macroeconomic indicators, the development of government debt and Fed's criticism, and evaluates the effectiveness of economic policy.

Germany, France and Euro Crisis. Will Germany and France find a common solution? Convergences und divergences in the German-French crisis management

This diploma thesis deals with the topic German-French cooperation on crisis management in the eurozone. Germany and France, represented by chancellor Merkel and president Sarkozy, cooperated together very closely during the crisis and contributed significantly to the further deepening of European economic and monetary union. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare the features of the German and French European policy and the German and French ideas about the functioning of economic and monetary union. Secondly, to examine the progress of the German- French cooperation on finding crisis solutions. And finally to define convergence and divergence in the crisis management of both countries. Due to different ideas about economic policy - the German ordoliberalism and French concept called Gouvernance économique - both countries were forced to make mutual concessions. The most important compromises within the anti-crisis measures are the bailouts to indebted countries, European rescue funds or tightening budgetary discipline of European countries by using the fiscal pact. Impacts on the Italian economy and fulfilling the Maastricht criteria

The diploma thesis aims to find out how the global economic crisis influenced the Italian economy. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes the process of the European monetary integration, where the role of Italy is emphasized. The second chapter deals with the specifics of the Italian economy which are put in historical context. The third chapter analyses the impacts of the crisis on the Italian economy. Anti - crisis measures of the EU in the context of interests of large European economies

This master's thesis deals with the response of the EU to the European Debt Crisis and with the attitude of large European economies (Germany, France, Great Britain) to approved anti - crisis measures. In the first chapter the economic and political tradition of large European economies is described, followed by their attitude to the European integration. After a brief outline of the European Debt Crisis, the second chapter deals with short-term and subsequently systemic anti-crisis measures and puts them into the context of attitudes and interests of large European economies.
Taxation during the financial crisis in the Czech Republic in terms of fiscal policy

The diploma thesis deals with changes in the system of taxation in the Czech Republic, 2008 -- 2013. The aim of the thesis is to analyze particular changes in the system of taxation in each year and determine what form of fiscal policy was applied and whether it was in accordance with tax theory. The examined taxes are: personal and corporate income tax, social security contributions, health insurance, value added tax and excise duties. The first part of the thesis deals with causes and consequences of the financial crisis that began in 2008. The second part of the thesis deals with fiscal policy theory and its measures. The third part of the thesis is an analysis anti-crisis measures applied throughout the European Union during the financial crisis. The fourth part analyzes the changes in the system of taxation in the Czech Republic, 2008 -- 2013.
