Project Trojan Cockhorse

Management of the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University considers opening a pre-school child care facility in a new seat of the faculty. The intention of this diploma work is to map and analyze legal forms of pre-school child care, needs of parents - employees and students of the faculty, and financial sources from which such facility could be funded; and then on the base of the analysis to design a solution suitable for the faculty. The solution has a form of a project plan, which, when approved, could be worked up and realized. Data needed for the project plan were gathered via analysis of documents, i.e. legal rules and web pages, and a questionnaire among employees and students of the faculty. According to the survey and in the case of available sufficient financial coverage, it would be ideal to establish at the faculty a facility with two children groups, each consisting of 15 children and a special children area of a 12 children capacity.
The Use of Methods of the Project Management in Company

This bachelor thesis is focused on the using of methods of project management in practice. In the first part of the work, there are the problem, the aims of work and the methodology of processing defined. The second part of bachelor thesis deals with theoretical knowledge of project management. There are mentioned key concepts for understading the substantiality of project management. The next part includes basic information about the company BM and it shows an analysis of the current state for a better understanding of the issue. The final part of the bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of the solution, which is the selection and the implementation of a wireless reading device with warehouse software in the company BM.
Development of the project, "Volleyball imagined differently"

Title: Development of the project "Volleyball imagined differently" Objectives: The main goal of the diploma thesis is to design a project plan which could that could be immediately applied and implemented. The partial goal of the diploma thesis is to create a background for the project plan, or rather put together a comprehensive concept of a recruitment type project including its name and basic parameters, logo, benefits, solutions and financing, which implementation could lead up to increase of the membership base of mini- volleyball in the Czech Republic,. Methods: Methodologically, the diploma work is based on qualitative research of data in the form of qualitative in-depth questioning, specifically semi-structured interviews with open questions, conducted on five respondents. The aim of the interviews was to find out how the project "Come play hockey" was build and how works, including the recruitment event "Week of hockey", and for another to find out the possibilities of accepting a recruitment type of project in a volleyball environment in the Czech Republic. For the purpose of these findings, the author of the project "Come play hockey" and the organizer of the recruitment event "Week of hockey", respectively the head of the Department of Promotion and Media at the Czech Volleyball...

The bachelor thesis deals with the project management itself concerning the area of producing a brand new service for a selected company. The service will be useful for customers and make the employees`s work easier with the use of theoretical knowledges, methods and tools of project management mentioned in the theoretical part. Analytical part contains information about the company and analysis of current situtation. In the fourth part is introduced proposal for realization and the benefits of suggested solution.

ERP System Implementation Using PRINCE2 Methodology

Diploma thesis is focused on the PRINCE2 methodology, which has been developed based on the needs of the British government for project management and after that it is applied to the needs of a private Czech company. There are described the basic features of the methodology, which are major benefits for the project management. On practical preparation is demonstrated the possibility of adapting the methodology on a practical elaboration to the specifics of a certain project and there are attached the drawn up project documents.

This bachelor's thesis deals with project management. At first is explained theory of project management and principles of method CPM (Critical Path Method) and PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique). Based on the analysis of existing tools for planning was made design and implementation of our aplication. The system has been implemented in programming language Java. Conclusion is made summary of the achieved results and~possible future extension.
Software Support for Project Management

This thesis deals with project management and how software can support it. In first part the problems and characteristics of project management is stressed as well as theoretical basics with focus on software development projects. Comparison of the available tools as project management aid is also touched. Objective of this thesis is to create such a project management aid tool by detailed analysis, design and implementation. The system has been implemented in programming language C#, the database layer is Microsoft SQL. End the end of the thesis the summary of the achieved results and possible future extensions of the project management tool can be found.
