Complex System for Web Page Creating and Editing

This thesis describes a system which offers customer registration and user administration-related tasks. It also facilitates an apparatus for supervising service fees. Above all, it provides users with tools with which they can create their own web site with ease and also change its content and appearance. This is achieved by using templates and modules. The Document also analyses specifications for this type of application, describes phases of design and implementation and draws out possible continuation of this project.

An Electronic Guide to Rock Climbing Areas for Android Platform

This thesis deals with the design and implementation of an information system which serves as a guide for climbing areas. This system is based on the client-server architecture. The server provides access to central database through web services. It is written in PHP programming language using the Nette Framework. The client application enables the user to create content and store it in a local database which can be synchronized with the server. It is written in Java programming language and developed for Android mobile platform. The whole system should be used as an alternative to today's common printed guides.

The main topic of this study is the development of a chosen tourist site from a guide's point of view. In the theoretical part we define the basic terms and their connections of human capital's impact on the improvement of a region. The practical part of the study focuses on the significance of a specific region: Lednice Chateau. The importance of the human capital in the sight development is based on both the interviews with castle's tour guides and the analysis of those interviews. The outcomes of this study are: concluding duscusion and recommendations for the future tourism development of the Lednice-Valtice Area.

ANALYSIS OF TRAVEL AGENCY BUSINESSES CONDITIONS

The first aim was to define the market of travel agencies in the Czech Republic. Then, one travel agency was chosen and was found, what products are offered, at what price and whom. Next was found, in which way it offers its products and attracts potential customers to buy its products. Following found out trends in tourist trade, some improvement for higher quality of production and higher competitive strength were proposed. One of the improvement proposals was to place more information about destinations and photos on the Internet to consumers have more information about what they buy. Photos should be added to printed catalogs. To have more consumers, travel agency should target the vacation packages in Italy and Croatia and give reductions in price for children up to age 15 years. And because the population becomes much more older, the travel agency could offer vacation packages for pensioners with recreational activities. Customers go back to the travel agency Prácheň and so it would be good to give them 10% reduction in price for the next tour.

The Greenhouse Fata Morgana in Prague Botanical Garden as an educational Place

The thesis deals with utilization of the greenhouse Fata Morgana, which belongs to the Prague Botanical Garden, for botanical educational excursions. In the first part excursion is introduced as a part of education. The next topic shows the history of Botanical Garden as an educational centre. The last chapter refers to present expositions of the Botanical Garden. The main aim of this thesis is to prove that tropical greenhouse is a suitable place for holding school excursions supported by professional guides. The thesis includes an interview with the chief guide Mgr. Eva Novozamska, on the basis of which thorough information about educational excursions and professional guiding system was achieved. The core of the thesis is about a recommendation to include botanical excursions, supported by general educational programmes issued by the Ministry of education, youth and sport, in the education system. Czech Language Teaching at Scioschools - a Case Study

This thesis focuses on the teaching of the Czech language at scioschools. The theoretical basis of Czech language didactics and the problematicsof alternative education are discussed in the first part, while the second part characterizes the individual scioschools in terms of their general concept and teaching of Czech language. The thesis is fomulated as a case study and is methodologically based on observation, interviews and document analysis. Its aim is to provide a partial insight into the practice of Czech language teaching at scioschools and to answer how and with what goal is Czech language taught. It analyses whether some innovative methods and forms of work reflecting the current topics of Czech language didactics are applied and whether is there are any unifying concepts of Czech language teaching. While this work provides insight into these issues it concludes that scioschools aim to lead the students to so-called study autonomy. Scioschools do not work with a unified concept of teaching. It find that the current Czech language teaching practice - forms of teaching, application of innovative methods or aims are heavily influenced by the personality, knowledge and experiences of the teacher - tutor. This bachelor thesis deals with design and development of mobile application de-signed for the Android platform. Application guide users based on their location and sound records, that describing places, monuments and attractions near them. The theoretical part of thesis describes options of development, methodology and comparison of competing applications. The practical part describes design and implementation of application, that serves as voice guide. The main goal of bache-lor thesis is design and development of mobile application and point on tools and procedures, that can be used to achieve this objective. The secondary goals of the thesis are deepening knowledge in the field of application development for An-droid platform, working with GPS module and media playing. Functionality of the application is verified on the test data that have been created in the area of Mendel University.

Jiří Padevět, Literary and Media Guide to the Second World War

The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce the personality and literary and media production of Jiří Padevět, researcher, writer, director of publishing house Academia and the holder of several awards including Magnesia Litera who devotes himself particularly to the period of the Second World War in Czech territory. Theoretical part includes concise summary of events in the protectorate from 1939 to 1945. There are included Jiří Padevět's viewpoints regarding several historical events. This chapter establishes a context for the entire thesis while also commemorating this year's 80th anniversary of the occupation by Nazi Germany and the creation of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. One of theoretical chapters is dedicated to non-fiction genre to which author's historical guides are mainly assigned. Integral part is also Jiří Padevět's biography, which maps his life from childhood to the present day. This diploma thesis presents guides, fiction books and web series Bloody years on web portal Stream.cz from the output of Jiří Padevět. Practical part focuses in detail on four selected works of Jiří Padevět which are interpreted even with their critical responses. Part of this thesis is also an interview with Jiří Padevět.
