Viktoria Plzeň's overall success rate was significantly lower than the other teams in the group. The overall failure to lose the ball for Viktoria Plzeň was significantly higher than the other teams. The players of Viktoria Plzeň recorded a significantly lower frequency of offensive duels 1versus2+ in comparison with the other teams. The overall frequency of attempts to pass through the opponent in the penalty area was significantly higher for the other teams compared to Viktor Plzeň's team. The success after the loop with a change of direction was significantly lower for the Viktoria Plzeň team compared...

Visual Composition in Time
Kaláb, Jaroslav ; Baloun, Vít (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is a short subjective document, that is made up of my own footage, which I have been collecting for a long time until now. It captures the physical and social environment in which I have been moving in recent years. Through them, I try to portray my feelings about these environments, about constant movement through them and in general about neverending traveling in space-time. It is my way of thinking about where my safe space is, if it is one place or if there are more of them, or if I feel the best at the moment, when I travel and I am not grounded in any place.
Shadows have eyes
Grűnwaldová, Glorie ; Nádvorník, Filip (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
My Bachelor thesis continues in longer-term work, which is spinning around curiosity, feeling of being watched and maybe even paranoia. It is based on my own experiences, which are related to today's digitized world. We can argue about whether there is privacy or we really live in a place of easily detectable information. These experiences are also based on anxiety and some sort of self control. In my paintings I try to move over the weight of this theme and work with humor. There are moments that make no sense, they are stylized into exaggerated form. The expression of the image is also important, painting itself and combination of techniques. My main goal is to share, lighten these experiences, but also transfer energy throughout the painting.
Playing soldiers: An Ethnographical study of virtual military units
Kos, Andrej ; Hrabec, Ondřej (advisor) ; Doubek, David (referee)
The text aims to explore the environment and culture of virtual military units in the Arma 3 video game using an ethnographical approach. It analyses their structure and agency in terms of the theoretical views of concepts such as Communities of practice and the Protheus effect. It also considers the theories of role-playing and psychodrama. Immersion and player identity are also discussed on a theoretical level. Participant observation and focused interviews were chosen as data collection methods. The data was captured in the form of video recordings and further analysed. The text continues to focus on the analysis of the data sections presented and the emergence of three crucial aspects: the acquisition of technical skills by the players, their gradual enculturation into the gaming community, and, finally, the specific mode of experience these virtual activities offer, and emotional aspect of said experience. It is argued in the text that the specific technical knowledge that players acquire, combined with the connection to a specific context created and maintained by the group itself, allows the establishment of a specific relationship between the player and his virtual character that enables a particular form of authentic experiencing of the game content. These findings continue to be...
The content of the selected science textbooks with regard to the use of methods of direct study of nature
VÁCHOVÁ, Pavlína
The main scope of the thesis is the analysis of four chosen sets of science textbooks, which is focused on discovery of frequency of tasks, which use the methods of strict studies of nature. The discovered tasks are closely classified from the perspective of thought operations severity, which must be known by pupils to be able to solve the tasks. This classification was defined by Tollingerová and is also mentioned by Kalhous and Obst (2002). In the last part of the analysis, the given tasks are classified by levels of inquiry as it is mentioned by Banchi and Bell (2008). In the framework of this thesis, four tasks, which are targeted to the methods of strict studies of nature, from which one was tested on the pupils during the practise, were devised.

Hrychová, Denisa ; Carboch, Jan (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The relationship of the toss to the success of the first service in tennis Objectives: The main aim of this work is to determine how the toss impacts the success rate of first tennis serve for both amateur and professional players. Methods: The initial data set was obtained by method of indirect observation using video recording of 8 professional and 2 amateur players. Each of them did 40 direct serves which were recorded and processed using Dartfish 10 software. Followingly the serves were sorted into categories - successfull, into net, out - long ball and out - on the side. Acquired data was processed using statistical (ANOVA) and effect size (Cohen's d) significance. Results: Based on substantive significance it can be said that for the y-axis the players only reached values of low effect with their serves. Larger effect of substantive significance, namely d=0.94, was reached by average values among serves which were played into the net or were out on the side. Balls, which were hit by professional at highest average hight of 273.7 cm ended up as long ball out. On the contrary, tosses hit at average distance of 63.7 cm from the baseline ended up in the net. A good serve was achieved at average distance of 61.6 cm from the baseline and at average hight of 272.9 cm. Keywords: tennis,...
