Company Computer Network Design
Psota, Michal ; Zdeněk,, Zapletal (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the design of a functional computer network in a selected company. The analytical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the state of the original computer network and the needs of the investor for the development of the business activities of the company. This is the basis for the summary of requirements defined by the investor, which define the conditions for the proposed solution. The solution includes the most suitable design of a structured cabling system with required parameters of data network transmission properties, use of passive and active elements, distribution of switchboards in the building, cable routing and location of connection points. The design of a stable data network, which takes into account the technical possibilities of its individual components, is supplemented by the economic budget of the related costs for its construction.
Simulation of cryptographic algorithms using FPGA
Németh, František ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is dealing with a cipher standard AES and with a design of encryption and decryption components for AES in special modes of operation. Programming language is VHDL. In theoretical part of thesis is a further descriptions of AES and behaviour of block cipher operation modes. Furthermore the brief description of VHDL, FPGA and NetCOPE framework is a piece of theoretical part as well. The practical part contains designs which are made in developing environment Vivado from Xilinx. Programmed modes of operation are ECB, CBC, CTR and CFB. Simulation outputs and synthesis results are summerized in tables.
Authenticing Active Devices in Identity-Based Networking Services
Lomnický, Marek ; Lampa, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
Main goal of this thesis is to study and test network access based on IBNS technology giving possibility to design flexible security policy based on user's identity and rights that is transparent to physical network components.
Computer Network Design for Mixed-use Building
Sekanina, Čestmír ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the design of computer networks for a mixed-use building. It is based on the analysis of the new building and the defined requirements of the investor. One part of this work are theoretical assumptions that help better understand the issues of computer networks. The thesis includes design of active components, calculation of costs and technical documentation.
Variable geometry of intake and exhaust ports of Wankel engine
Krejčí, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design the key parameters of the high-powered Walkel engine and to design a chamber side on the base of computed parameters so that it enables variable change of the intake and exhaust port geometry. Consequently, to carry out a flow simulation in both ports in designed chamber side in order to find out its flow character and geometry change reaction.
Component Interconnection Inference
Olšarová, Nela ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The Master Thesis deals with the design of hardware component interconnection inference algorithm that is supposed to be used in the FPGA schema editor that was integrated into educational integrated development environment VLAM IDE. The aim of the algorithm is to support user by finding an optimal interconnection of two given components. The editor and the development environment are implemented as an Eclipse plugin using GMF framework. A brief description of this technologies and the embedded systems design are followed by the design of the inference algorithm. This problem is a topic of combinatorial optimization, related to the bipartite matching and assignment problem. After this, the implementation of the algorithm is described, followed by tests and a summary of achieved results.
NNTP Server as a Windows Network Service
Loupanec, Josef ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This work includes specification and analysis of requirements, design and implementation of the internet news server. The server controls newsgroups and associated news. It provides availability of the articles by NNTP protocol and HTTP protocol (by web interface). The server supports a user authentication and an optional proxy mode, when all NNTP requests are resent to another remote NNTP server.  A mechanism that provides news-downloading from remote NNTP servers and performs distribution function is included too. The application is designed to run on MS Windows NT (and higher version) as a NT service. The server is configurable by a graphic user interface. The work also includes theoretical information needed for successful accomplishment of the above-mentioned requirements.
Subharmonic Mixers for Microwave Bands
Kintr, Jindřich ; Frydrych, Jiří (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
The task of this master’s thesis is design and implementation subharmonic mixer for the microwave band. Subharmonic mixer is based on the principle of antiparallel diode. In the first two parts are theoretically described mixers (subharmonic mixer) and topology suitable for implementation. Another work describes the design subharmonic mixer. The proposal is implemented in the program Ansoft designer. DPS is created in Eagle or in Ansoft Designer. The mixers are designed and implemented first on the lower frequency and consequently at higher frequencies (24,048 GHz and 47,088 GHz). Work also includes the measurement results of the mixers.
Design of Universal Cabling System in Psychiatric Hospital
Sommer, Marek ; Horáček, Dan (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is design of universal cabling system in psychiatric hospital. The thesis contains analysis of current state of a building and company requirements. The work describes technical solutions of cabling system based on theoretical information mentioned in the thesis. The thesis also includes technical documentation and calculation of material costs.
The Proposal of Network Infrastructure for New Family House
Krčmář, Josef ; Jordán, Vilém (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor work describes the design of a computer network for a new family home. Based on the analysis of the architectural design of the house, on the basis of the computer network is designed. The subsequent implementation will be according to the selected design. The work will also technical documentation and evaluation costs.
