Family house

Abstract: The aim of my bachelor thesis was to design a nearly–zero-energy two-storey detached house. Object will be designed in Horní Cerekev. The ground floor, there is a kitchen which is connected with living room, then a toilet and a utility room. There is also a garage for two car’s. The first floor contains two children’s room, a bedroom, a bathroom and toilet. The house is located on a flat plot of land. Foundations are from the cast-in-place concrete. Walls are designed from the brick of Porotherm. The ceiling structure is designed from the Spiroll panels with suspended ceiling from plasterboard. The roof above the garage will be used as a terrace and second floor roof will be flat green roof. The object meets all requirements for fire safety. The main source of renewable energy is 13 PV installed on the roof. The house is heated by an air-to-water heat pump located next to the utility room. The water is heated by an internal heat pump and stored in an accumulation tank. Floor heating is solved in the house. The Object is carried out forced ventilation and air handling unit with heat recovery designed. The living area will have fan-coils installed for cooling. Rainwater will be accumulated in the storage tank and infiltration blocks, and then it will be used to irrigate the garden. Horní Cerekev has its own wastewater treatment plant where the wastewater from the building will be discharged. From the building physics, The building was classified as A, that meaning that the building is exceptionally economical.
Energy - saving family house in Hostinné

The aim of the bachelor’s project is to design a low-energy detached house. First part of project is focused on the structural and architectural design, building physics and fire safety of building. The plot is situated in the west of Hostinné and terrain is almost flat. The building is designed as two-storey detached house with flat green roof above first floor and flat blue roof above second floor and garage with green roof next to the house. The building is designed on concrete strip foundations and the load-bearing walls and ceilings of the building are designed of cross-laminated timber. The entrance to the plot and also to the house is in the north. On the first floor there is living room, kitchen, bathroom, WC, utility room, home office and pantry. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, master bedroom and bathroom. Second part of project is focused on the energy performance certificate, detailed design of sanitary installations and concepts of building services such as heating and ventilation. The designed house was classified as A in EPC. The rainwater will be partly retained in the green roofs and the rest will be accumulated in stormwater tank and further used for garden irrigation. Excess water will be infiltrated into the ground on the property. The house will be heated by a pellet boiler and heat distribution will be ensured through underfloor heating and radiators. The building is designed with a ventilation unit with heat recovery and photovoltaic panels.
Apartment building

The subject matter of this bachelor thesis is a project documentation for an apartment building’s construction in locality of Sadova, Mensikova street in Brno. The building has a basement with 13 parking spaces, a cellar and an utility room. There are four floors with 13 residential units above the basement. Part of the roof of a garage is made as a vegetation and second part is made as a terrace for flats. Main roof of the building is designed as a flat roof with a classic order of layers. The object is designed as monolithical. Garage is solved using columns and gutters, te residential part is solved with monolithic walls. Monolithic reinforced concrete slabs serve as a ceiling. The facade of the building is solved in the ETICS system, in some places, a ventilated facade with PREFA cladding is used.
Family house with the establishment

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a family house with the establishment in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The building is designed for housing a family of five and the operation of the car repair workshop. The house has a garage. The living area has two floors and with partial basement. The establishment consists of one above-ground floor. The building is designed from Silka limestone blocks. The external wall of the basement consists of concrete blocks. The ceilings are from the Ytong system. The roofing consists of a gabled roof with a dormer, above the establishment is a flat green roof. The building has ventilated facade and hidden downpipe.
Leisure Time Centre Brno

Leisure time center is situated in a part of Brno Nový Liskovec. The land is sloping character, it is bordered by buildings of prefabricated houses. The building is composed of one masses with passage in the middle. Passage replicates the terrain slopes, it has two floors where the first is partially embedded in the ground. The facade is designed as a climbing wall. The bearing structure is reinforced concrete frame in the module 5x6m. The frame is lining concrete monolithic perimeter wall. Infill walls is with blocks of YTONG. As the roofing is flat green roof. Establishment of an object is made of reinforced concrete foundations pass and quiffs.
Hotel Wipeout with wellness

The thesis is dealing with the proposal and processing of project documentation of the Wipeout hotel with the wellness. The proposed object is located in the uptown of Jedovnice. It is a four-storey basement building with vegetation roof and five pitched gabled roofs. The object is visually divided into two parts. The first part is covered with a chipped stone facade. The second part is covered with ventilated facade of wooden blocks of Nordic pine. The foundations of the building are reinforced concrete. Framework, peripheral and dividing walls are designed from POROTHERM system. Ceiling structures are reinforced concrete. The visual idea is the Nordic style, that fits into the surrounding landscape. The object consists of three operating parts namely a restaurant, wellness centre and temporary accommodation.
Futurama Theatre

It is a multi-storey detached cultural and dining building. The theatre is dimensioned for 615 seats and the restaurant is dimensioned for 150 dishes. The construction will be situated in the town Ostrava, namely in town part Ostrava-Poruba having 64 728 inhabitants. Build-up land area is 3819 m2 and capacity amounts to 60 676 m3, it has one underground and four above-ground levels. The building is covered by green flat roof.
Kindergarten on sloped plot

The master’s thesis as focused on the design a kindergarten located in Vrbovec. The project documentation is suited for the execution of construction works. It handles about a single storey object with a green roof and is recessed into the hillside. The green roof corrects seamlessly with the surrounding terrain. A feature of the build is that, it is founded on milled foamglass. Vertical structures are from silicate blocks, excluding the walls in contact with soil are based on hidden formwork. Design of the building respects the local plan of Vrbovec. There are going to be two groups of children, thus the disposition is accustomed to that. Maximum capacity is 48 children. It is shape and color design represents an architectural site, it is properties function in terms of energy savings.
Multifunctional building

Diploma thesis is the project of a six-storey multifunctional building in Brno. The building is designed for commercial and housing. In the basement is a garage for residents with a technical room, first floor are commercial spaces such as cafes, bike shop, newspaper shop, bakery, then there is the entrance to do the apartments which are located in the remaining upper floors. Each residential floor has 6 apartments, 4 three-room and 2 four-room apartments. There is a total of 24 apartments. Housing has green flat roof, above the underground is operational flat roof with a parking area. This project is developed with a computer software AutoCAD, 3D models are developed with ArchiCAD and renders are developed with rendering software Lumion. This thesis was created with an emphasis on a correct layout and architectural design, static requirements and safety construction usage.
Multifunctional building

The subject of this diploma thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a multifunctional house in Milady Horáková Street. The building is designed in Brno - Zábrdovice together with the connection to the infrastructure. It is a four-storey building with one underground floor, the building serves as an administrative, catering and housing function. The entrance to the building is via Milady Horákové Street with each functional part having its own separate entrance. From the rear of the building from Příkop Street there is access to the underground parking together with the entrance for employees, supplies and the entrance to the technical room. On the ground floor there is a restaurant with a kitchen and all equipment, the reception of the administration together with facilities for the reception staff and the entrance to the residential part of the building. On the second and third floor there is the administrative part of the building and on the top floor there are four apartments with a terrace. All technical facilities from parking to heating have been designed for the object. The building is built on a reinforced concrete frame with monolithic ceilings. The roof structure is of a pitched green roof.
