The principal objective of the bachelor thesis is to create a business plan of a fitness center for a particular public high school. Processing the subject I took into acount the lack of physical activity in high school students. Further objective of this work is to propose a solution to eliminate the lack of physical aktivity and to contribute to improvement of both, the health of the high school students, but also to improve their healthy lifestyle.
Motivational structure of pupils of the first grade of Mohylová Primary School in Prague 13 for physical aktivity

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of motivation for physical activity of primary school pupils Mohylová in Prague 13. Its aim is to obtain information about what motivates younger school-age pupils to physical activities, how they relate to movement and compare results between years. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part explains the concepts related to the topic of work, such as motivation, physical activity, there is a description of the younger school age and the various stages of its development. Furthermore, this part deals with leisure, lifestyle issues and health. The research part is focused on research and interpretation of the results. The survey took the form of a questionnaire, which was conducted for pupils in the 1st to 5th grades of the Mohylová primary school. With the help of a guided interview, the opinions of primary school teachers Mohylová on the issue of physical activity of younger school-age pupils and motivation to move were ascertained. The results of the thesis showed that pupils have a positive relationship to physical activity, physical activity brings them joy and their greatest motivation to move is the need to be healthy. Title: Physical activity promotion in the documents of international organizations Objectives: The main objective of this work is to explain the meaning of the promotion of physical activity for the human health and to show the way leading to the active way of life of the whole population. The partial objective is to show the content and the means of the promotion of physical activity and various strategies aimed on the increasing the physical activity level of the different populations in various environments. Methods: In this work I use the analysis of documents of various institutions, especially WHO, and the studies published in scientific and professional journals, dealing with the problems of the physical activity promotion. Results: The study of the important world documents proved the society-wide seriousness of the promotion of physical activity. The promotion of the long-life physical activity in the primary prevention is based on the strong evidence of health benefits bringing the additional newly discovered economic and psycho-social benefits. Title: Motivation for physical activities in the water for adult person Research: Total physical activity of adults Objectives: Implement and evaluate a case study exercise intervention with the use of swimming locomotion during the period of six months focused on increasing of total physical activity of a client aged 39 years. Methods: Case study, observation, interview, timing, scaling Results: The research object was an adult man at the age of 39 years. The exercise programme lasting six months contributed to improvements in his swimming literacy. The proband improved the quality of basic swimming skills, extended swimming breaststroke distance and eliminated the main errors in this technique. He mastered the basics of crawl and backstroke. The exercise programme made an assumption to the fact that swimming is to become his regularly performed physical activity. Title: Evaluation of motor skills level in children of the primary education of selected Prague elementary schools Objectives: The main aim of the study was to evaluate current level of motor skills of primary education children of selected Prague elementary schools using standardized assessment battery MABC-2. A partial goal of the study was to compare the level achieved in the MABC-2 test with the data acquired through the questionnaire survey regarding physical activities of participating responders. (n = 134). Methods: A total number of 134 responders (60 girls and 74 boys) aged from 7 to 12 years from two selected Prague elementary schools participated in the research. The level of motor skills of all participants was examined using a standardized assessment battery MABC- 2. The testing was carried out in the form of field research during physical education lessons at selected schools. A questionnaire designed specifically for the purpose of this study, subsequently completed by legal representatives of the responders, was used for the orientation examination of the physical behaviour of the participants. Title: Neurophysiologic intervention induced changes of the functional foot characteristics in school children. Objectives: The aim of the research was to identify the functional characteristics of the foot in school children selected on the basis of the activity of physical activity in the highest intensity (sporting children) and in the lowest intensity (non-sporting children) and to find out possibilities of influencing the functional characteristics of the foot by targeted neurophysiological intervention. Children and Youth Olympics: Analysis of time series of first-grade pupils' sports performance

The thesis called Children and Youth Olympics: Analysis of time series of first-grade pupils' sports performance deals with the importance of physical activities of junior pupils attending elementary schools. The aim of this thesis is to describe the current status of children's physical capability as it is reported in professional literature. The data found there are compared with the children's physical ability performance measured in the case of the first-grade pupils at elementary schools. The thesis is focused on describing the Czech Olympic Committee project which is called Children and Youth Olympics. A unique sports event is derived from it - Velké Opatovice First- Grade Children Olympics. The text deals with the importance of sports, physical and olympic education and their integration in the Framework Education Program for the Basic Education. The research part of the thesis contains the analysis of the youngest pupils' sports performance. It introduces the data gathered from the First-grade Children Olympics result lists. Title: Physical activity of eleven-year-old pupils in Prague and Helsinki Objectives: The aim of this work is based on the questionnaire survey and shall describe and evaluate the current state of physical activity of eleven year old pupils in Prague and Helsinki. Following the results of the work, proposals for improvement of the current situation will be created. These can be used by either organizations and institutions that are engaged in support of physical activity or have it directly in the job description, or the general public. Methods: Primary and secondary data sources were used for this research of the physical activity of the eleven-year-old pupils in Prague and Helsinki. To obtain the primary data, it was necessary to make a quantitative research using questionnaires among the pupils. The secondary data were obtained from the research of the WHO which in the years 2009/2010, inter alia, examined the status of the physical activity of the eleven-year-old pupils in the world. Other, previously conducted research works and reports related to this issue were used as well.
