The bachelor's thesis on the topic "Barrier nursing regime in pediatric patients with acute gastroenteritis" deals with the use of certain principles in the prevention of the spread of acute diarrheal diseases as nosocomial infections. It focuses on the knowledge and habits of nurses providing nursing care for hospitalized children in the children's ward, emphasizing the importance of using personal protective equipment and overall compliance with the barrier nursing regime. Objective of the work: The aim of the work was to find out and evaluate the knowledge and attitude of nurses towards compliance with the barrier nursing regime. The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to find out whether respondents with a university education demonstrate greater knowledge and a stronger attitude towards compliance with set principles than respondents with a secondary education. The set of respondents was also compared according to age and length of practice. Sample and methods: The actual investigation took place in the form of a self- constructed questionnaire. Contact Precautions in Nursing in the Intensive Care

The thesis titled "Barrier Nursing in Intensive Care Units" explores the issue of knowledge and adherence to barrier nursing and enhanced hygienic regime and the reasons for non- compliance. Objectives: The focus of the thesis is to ascertain knowledge of nurses about barrier nursing and enhanced hygienic regime. Furthermore, to determine which protective measures are actually being followed and the reason why they are not being followed. Methods: To fulfill the objectives of the thesis, a survey targeting nursing staff in an adult intensive care unit was created. The survey took place at the University Hospital Hradec Králové. A total of 76 completed questionnaires were included in the study. Results: Based on statistical evaluation, it was found that nurses in intensive care units have an average knowledge of hygienic regimes of 88.36 %. The most common situation in which respondents do not fully adhere to enhanced hygienic measures is during an acute condition of a patient. In the open-ended response section, respondents most frequently mentioned CPR, the risk of removal of invasive access, or patient bed exit. The first part contains a general introduction to the concept of health and safety and its importance for the company. The second part deals with occupational health and safety in the company, evaluating the measures related to the health of employees at work and the safety of the company. The third part evaluates the safety of the enterprise and a possible proposal for some improvement of safety in the enterprise.

Title: Relationship between hip muscles and dynamics front kick while using ballistic vest and backpack. Objective: Determine the rate of the relationship among isokinetic strength of hip muscles during flexion and extension movement, external and internal rotation and the dynamics of the front kick while using the military personal protective equipment. The method: The master thesis corresponds with an empirically based study of observational type. The measured research sample consisted of students (n = 15) of Military Department attending full-time and combined form of study at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University in Prague. Dynamics of front kick were measured by dynamometric Kistler plates and evaluated through computer software BioWare. Isokinetic strength of hip muscles during flexion and extension movement, external and internal rotation was tested and rated by isokinetic dynamometer Humac Norm. The flexibility of selected muscles group was measured by a specialist in physiotherapist area. Primary operation of the company is based on individual production units. If we want the company to operate well, we have to focus on safety in production. The main task of the thesis is the analysis of specific and topical safety plan and health protection plan in the company DEL a.s. with regard to the ecological aspects. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the basic information and important requirements of the working environment and occupational hygiene. The analytical part then describes in detail the working environment and working conditions in the selected company. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyze and compare statistics of work accidents, to find shortcomings and to suggest possible solutions to these shortcomings for the Czech Republic. The analysis and comparison of statistics is focused on the Czech Republic and neighboring countries, which are Slovakia, Poland, Germany and Austria in 2015-2020. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the activities of labor inspection. There is also an analysis and comparison of activities in the Czech, Slovak, Polish and Austrian Republics in 2015-2020.
