Parking house of NPP Dukovany
Okounová, Kateřina ; Rosendorf, Aleš (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design of two parking houses, which will be made in stages in the area of the Dukovany nuclear power plant. The construction site is located directly in the Dukovany NPP site, south of the cooling towers, which do not interfere with the area in any way. North of this area is a commercial area and bus station, which is separated from the land by buildings and greenery. The five-storey parking houses will not disturb the surrounding character of the buildings. Cooling towers have a big influence on this and they are unmistakable by their height and the designed objects will not have a massive effect next to these towers, they only complement the surrounding buildings. The buildings are designed of regular shape. A more prominent feature on these buildings will be the front facade itself and the glass staircase spaces. The main entrances to the building will be marked with a light sign “P1” and “P2” for better orientation between buildings. The layout of the parking house "S01" in the first stage is designed using two ramps located in the middle of the building. There is also a station for charging electric cars, bicycle storage, sanitary facilities, cleaning room and TZB room. The stairwells are designed in three places for easier access of people. The parking function is complemented in the 1st floor with 6 self-service car wash boxes, which are only accessible from outside the building due to the wet use process. The second stage of construction is considered to be the same layout, the entrance to the second building "S02" is designed from the west side.
Parking house of NPP Dukovany
Machů, Jana ; Vlachynský, Ladislav (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The theme of this bachelor thesis is the design of the building of the Parking house for the Dukovany nuclear power plant. The basis of this work is based on the subject AG035 – Architectural design studio 5. The area is flat and large enough, so there was a requirement to repeat the building on this land in the second stage of construction. Therefore, two mirror-identical objects (SO01 and SO02) are designed in one area. In this bachelor work is solved object SO01. The land is trapezoidal, half of which now has a parking area. Along the northwest boundary of the plot lies a road to which the plot connects in the northern part. Now the land is located on the northwest side of the nuclear power plant, however, the construction of another part of the power plant is planned and thus the parking house will occur in the middle of these two units. The parking house is designed as a four-storey building with 787 parking spaces. It is a simple mass in the shape of a block, which is accentuated by a protruding cantilevered staircase on each side of the building. The building also visually plays on the facade with its closed and open areas, which are covered by aluminum slats. Structurally the building is designed as reinforced concrete, for the most part prefabricated (columns, girders and ceiling panels) for speed and simplicity of construction, but there is also used monolithic reinforced concrete (walls and ceiling slabs) to reinforce the building. The construction system is bidirectional.
Spica/ Brno, Nove sady 49°11'20.3"N 16°36'29.4"E
Šmídová, Anežka ; Kisová, Barbora (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
Design „micro-urbanism“ in designated area. Aim of this work is to find suitable development strategy of open city block. Bachelor‘s thesis adresses design of poly-functional building in Brno-střed. The main theme was to design a town hall and other more functions as for example living space. Design tries to find optimal solution for site, which is currently occupied by parking lots. The building tries to complete corner of designated city block, which will be part of future „south“ neighbourhood. The townhall and housing should function in harmony, which means the building will „live“ all-day long. Between the site and neighbouring building will be parking garage tucked under the ground between malá Amerika and the designated area. The park will be situated above the parking garage to be open to the public. Building is composed by a pedestal in which town hall is situated. On the pedestal are placed 3 housing clusters. These clusters are designed the way which makes the volumes contrast.
Multi-storey car park
Balhar, Martin ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of steel structure multi-storey garage. It is the five-storey steel structure of rectangular plan. The construction is designed for the city of Olomouc. Static calculation is solved by a combination of manual calculation and calculation using software Scia engineer 18. There are the following main load bearing structural elements designed and examined in the structural analysis: truss, purlin, bracing, column, composite beam, joints, foot and anchoring. Thesis includes drawing documentation

The Rehabilitation of the historical center and adjacent surroundings of Kyjov with a focus on the public space
Hlubinková, Monika ; Řehák, Filip (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis related to rehabilitation of the historical inside and adjacent neighborhood Kyjov deals with the analysis of the actual state of the city, the evaluation of its problems and potential and the subsequent design of the urbanistic, transport and functional solution. Modelling and Analysis of Civil Structures in ANSYS Workbench Environment
Krňávek, Ondřej ; Kršík, Jakub (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the use of the ANSYS Workbench software environment for modelling and analysing of civil structures. The introductory part is focused on finite element method, which is used by the ANSYS environment. The main part is dedicated to practical use of ANSYS Workbench environment for linear static analysis of reinforced concrete parking house. The thesis deals primarily geometric model, load model according to valid standards and at the end are listed calculated values of deformation and stress of selected components.
HOUSE ON THE EDGE – Valašské Meziříčí, Sokolská Street
Sopoušková, Petra ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Františák, Luboš (advisor)
The project is dealing with a parking area on the border of historical centre and a motorway with block of houses in Valašské Meziříčí. The aim is a new usage of the plot but with keeping the number of parking places. The designed object works as a barrier between motorway and historical centre, where the pedestrians are preferred. The direct connection to the estate housing is provided by a pedestrian roan on the east side of the area. The new street with residential character is designed. The building has a three floors of parking with capacity of 149 parking places, the entrance is accessible by turning lane and between floors by an external ramp. One of these floors is under the level of terrain. The other two then reflect the construction heigth of the commercial space. The facade of the shops makes a visual border of the street. The shops and the parking make the platform where blocks of flats and roof gardens are situated. The communication cores for these flats goes through the whole building and is placed in between every two of houses. It leads the people to the semiprivate zone where the entrances of the flats and situated. The mass and the materials tried to not interrupt the character of the town. Aspects of sustainable development are included, mainly the social aspect of living.

Study of automated parking systems
Peprník, Pavel ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis summarizes the current knowledge on modern automated parking systems. It's a very interesting idea of solving the lack of parking space for the ever growing number of cars. This thesis describes basic types of these systems, their use, technical and operating parameters, structural and technological possibilities of manipulation with cars. This thesis also contains examples of already implemented projects, both in CR and abroad. It mentions advantages and disadvantages of these systems. In the end of this work are showed possibilities of using these technologies in the future.
