Preparatory classes in the period of legislative changes

The topic of my diploma thesis is the preparatory class during the legislative changes. The aim was to find out, how the directors and pedagogues perceive the development of the preparatory classes, if there were any changes during the time and what is the significance of the preparatory class for its pupils. The main objective of the work was to find out, how school leaderf and pedagogues do they perceive the future of the preparatory classes after the legislative's modification, or how could the perfect preparatory class look like in the future. I used a case study as a basic method. I got the research information from the interviews with primary school directors and preparatory class teachers. The result is that the preparatory classes have their place in educational system and that they are good for children, who visit them. Another result is that each school has a different children composition in the preparatory classes and that each school looks at the legislative a little bit different. The directors and pedagogues are afraid of the future of the preparatory classes because after the legislative modification there will be only few children with the postponement of the compulsory schooling. And they are afraid of the cancelling of the preparatory classes.
Education of children with school attendance delay

The thesis deals with the issue of delay, schooling in the Czech Republic. Responding to the high percentage of children with delayed schooling in kindergartens. In the theoretical part, the author wants to provide general information about the suspension of schooling, who shall decide on the suspension of schooling and will address why the delay of schooling so much nowadays, will focus on the diagnosis of school maturity in the pedagogical-psychological counseling and pedagogical Diagnostics by means of the teachers in kindergartens. A significant portion will be devoted to the issue of educational work in kindergarten. In the practical part will then outlined examination in the pedagogical-psychological counseling, development of individual educational plan for the development of the most common areas that postponement of the schooling grants, and games for kids with the deferment of the schooling. Partial case reports will be complemented by interviews with the parents, how is the decision making process of schooling. The investigation will be carried out through a combination of research methods of interview and observation. Living conditions for children from sociocultural disadvantaged families

In my paper, I focus on children and families, who are socially and culturally disadvantaged. I am trying to explain their living and educational conditions and the way these families bring their children up. In the theoretical part, I mention families with majority society background as well as Roma family - as there are a great number of these families in our society and they have the status of being socially and culturally disadvantaged. To point out the difference in upbringing in these families I also analyse the needs of a child. That enables us to see which needs of a child are not fulfilled in the socially and culturally disadvantaged families. The chapter on the rights of a child should remind us of the fact, that we are all equal regardless of skin colour or of temporary crisis life situation that makes us become socially disadvantaged. In the next part, I write about education of the socially and culturally disadvantaged children. There is description of what kind of education there is for them in our society, if there are appropriate conditions for them or if they differ from the majority society and how this problem is dealt with by the Czech Ministry of Education. The last chapter is focused on the social issue. I mention the help that these families can claim from the government....
Inclusive education of socially disadvantaged children in kindergarten

The main aim of this thesis is integration of socially disadvantaged children at a nursery school. The thesis consists of two parts theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part deals with issues of socially disadvantaged children and possibilities of their education, integration and inclusion. Further it describes history, culture, language and particularities of Romany culture. The thesis is also aimed to pre-school age and level of education at this age nursery school and preparatory classes. The practical part is based on my personal experience that I gained during education of socially disadvantaged children at nursery school. The practical part has a form of project.
Development of drawing and specific artistic expression of gipsy children

This Bachelor's thesis monitors displaying visual features of Roma children in the transition from preparatory classes and elementary school. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of the Roma and their education, complemented by specific visual representations of Roma children, children's artwork and its development. The research part takes the form of a longitudinal study, which are repeating, the same childrens' drawing of a human figure monitoring, from preparatory classes until the beginning of the first grade. The goal is to monitor and subsequently analyse the drawings of human figures, their transformation and development in various aspects of the artwork. Furthermore, another aim is to identify and describe the common features of drawings by children of Roma ethnicity.
