Turistika and educational trails in the Jizerské hory

Title: Turistika and Educational Trails in the Jizerské hory Objectives: The main targets of the theses are to introduce hiking, biking and cross-country skiing as the most used types of turistika kinds in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA, to get acquainted with the Jizerské hory and educational trails located there and to explain the potential for their development in the future. Methods: To introduce hiking, biking and cross-country skiing, the following sources have been used: outdoor activities, the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA and educational trails professional literature; websites of main institutions, i. e. Czech Tourist Club, Nature and Landscape Protection Agency of the Czech Republic and further available. To create an overview of the current state of educational trails in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA and possible alternatives for their expansion, the internet research has been carried out and the obtained information have been related to the Jizerské hory. Results: All educational trails in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA are focused on hiking. They are realized in the form of information boards. Modern technologies using smartphones, which could eliminate the use of boards, have already been used on educational trails in other areas. They are advantageous in many points of view....
Barefoot hiking in the Czech Republic

Title: Barefoot hiking in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this work is to assess the possibilities and position of barefoot hiking in the Czech Republic. Methods: The research part of the work is divided into two parts in order to meet the objectives. The first is to determine the impacts of barefoot hiking on human health and to describe the profile of a barefoot hiker using a questionnaire survey. The research lasted 11 weeks and involved 230 respondents, of which 147 (64%) are active barefoot tourists and 83 (36%) are respondents who are only interested in barefoot hiking. Secondly, two semi-structured interviews were conducted - with a barefoot physiotherapist about the effects of barefoot hiking on human health and with a barefoot walking methodology specialist about the development and position of this form of hiking. Results: 64 % of the addressed barefoot hikers experience an overall improvement in health in connection with barefoot hiking. 63 % of the surveyed barefoot tourists put on shoes due to the cold only at temperatures below 10 řC. 13% even only at temperatures below -5 řC. 67 % of the interviewed barefoot hikers prefer the length of barefoot trips up to 10 km. 78% of the addressed barefoot hikers engage in barefoot hiking only individually (not within any club). 53 % of...

This bachelor thesis discuss the theme of accessibility and permeability of a landscape for recreational use in an area between Otrokovice and Staré Měšto by Uherské Hradiště. The area is located in the wester part of Zlínský region and it is conected to the Chřiby highlands by its western side. The thesis contains the literary view of the landscape recreology, natural conditions in the area, then my own fieldwork and the suggested solutions of the landscape accessibility deficiencies, mainly in the field of bicycle touring. The possible funding sources are included as well.
Analýza stavu a údržby naučných stezek v CHKO Jeseníky

The diploma thesis deals with selected educational trails, which are located in the Jeseniky Protected Landscape Area. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of educational trails and description of the monitored area. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the state of educational trails and their maintenance. The evaluation was carried out on the basis of field research, which was realised using the standardized observation method. The terrain was also mapped and educational trails were marked in the maps. At the end of the work, model calculations were created for the maintenance of educational trails with proposals for funding.
The impact of attending the Pioneer organization events on the attitude to tourist activities

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out by means of a questionnaire survey if the attending of the Pioneer organization events has had some positive impact on the attitude to touring. The first part of the thesis is focused on the explanation of the main terms, description of the history and activities of the Pioneer organization and events which this organization arranges including a brief description of other children and youth organizations engaged in some form of tourist activities. The second part of the thesis introduces the evaluation of the questionnaire survey and the summary of the discovered results.
Evaluation of aplicability of Leading Quality Trails – Best of Europe criteria on a long-distance hiking trail in the Czech Republic

The diploma paper, Evaluation of aplicability of Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe criteria on a long-distance hiking trail in the Czech Republic, deals with the process of certification of long-distance hiking trails in accordance with the norm called Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe. The norm is based on German norms for certificating long-distance hiking trails which brought remarkable success. So far, there are no such trails in the Czech Republic. The main purpose of this thesis is to provide answers to questions concerning the aplicability of European norms on Czech hiking trails. Specifically, it will focus on the aplication of the norms on the long-distance hiking trail Stezka podel Luznice and its evaluation.
Mountain Tourism in the Krkonoše Mountains

The purpose of this thesis is to describe and analyse actual conditions for mountain tourism in the Krkonoše Mountains as well as to determine preconditions for its future form and development and to give comprehensive information about situation of particular elements of tourism. Finally there is a projection of a future conception of the mountain tourism in the Krkonoše Mountains. There is a description and analysis used to appraise current situation and opportunities for development regarding the mountain tourism.
The importance of the landscape for tourism in Corsica

The diploma thesis analyses the current state of the tourism both in France and Corsica and other more it deals with the importance of the landscape and the natural environment for tourism in Corsica. The theoretical part defines tourism and presents different kinds of tourism (hiking). In the practical part there is analysed specifically the tourism in France, especially one French region -- Corsica is analysed more detailed. The aim of the diploma thesis is to point out the importance of the tourism both for France and for Corsica, to describe the current state of tourism and to analyse the possibilities of its development. More attention is given to the hiking and trekking and possibilities of its development on the Mediterranean island of Corsica.
Implementation of a long distance hiking trail along the Luznice River

The bachelor paper Implementation of a long distance hiking trail along the Luznice River is concerned with hiking. The main purpose of the work is to map and define a long distance trail along the Luznice River with the view of German quality trails. The trail is called "The trail along the Luznice River leads us together". As the Luznice River springs in Austria, this project will be a matter of international partnership between the Czech Republic and Austria. The aim is not only the creation of the trail, but also the cooperation and communication of two countries. The greater focus is on hiking, the Czech Tourist Club (as the Lead Partner) and the trail itself. The next part of the paper indicates the trails potential for certification. The paper provides target groups, partnership, objectives and contributions to tourism.
Influence of cycle tourism on tourism development in region Náchodsko

The work is aimed at estimation of meaning cycle tourism for tourism development in region Náchodsko and analyse current situation of cycle tourism in the region. Firstly we determine in the work cycle tourism and the region Náchodsko. In next section we analyse region from a sight of cycle tourism and possibilities for other tourism activities. In last section we evaluate questionary survey and mention some proposals for improvement. In conclusion we summarize preferences of the region and importance cycle tourism for the region.
