Natural Language Processing: Analysis of Information Technology Students’ Spoken Language
Teoretická část přistupuje k problému rozdělením do tří kapitol: umělá inteligence a statistika, zpracování přirozeného jazyka a IBM Watson Natural Language Understanding.

Framing of Industry 4.0 in the Czech media in the period 2013-2018
El Bournová, Hana ; Miessler, Jan (advisor) ; Nečas, Vlastimil (referee)
1 Annotation Industry 4.0, also known as "the fourth industrial revolution" consisting of the digitization and automation of industry, is a relatively new topic in the Czech media field. Not so new topic is digitization in general, which is a process of implementing digital technologies in various areas of production and society. Over time, the arguments of both academic sides, optimists and critics of digital progress were stabilized in two antagonistic paradigms, with both groups of arguments can be found in the media discourse. The work will also examine the neutral approach, which does not benefit from any of the extreme opposites. The thesis will examine the overall framing of the topic and the similarity between media presentation and academic literature. Participants in the academic debate on the digital age can be found, among others, among digital media theorists. They can in principle be divided into two main parties. Optimists (Negroponte, Jenkins, Mařík) in principle support the new possibilities that digitization brings, while critics (McChesney, Spitzer, Morozov) point out that digital progress is dangerous. On the one hand, digital progress and robotization is being showed as a benefit, but on the other hand, academics warn against the fall of society and the negative side of the digital age....

It then focuses on the regional area of the European Union, where it discusses the Copyright Directive in the Information Society and the currently prepared Copyright Directive in the Single Digital Market and discusses in more detail its controversial articles 11 and 13. In Its second part, the thesis aproaches concepts of copyright, the criterion of originality and uniqueness, dualism of copyright as divided to the economic and moral rights and the concept of employee works. This provides a theoretical basis for the following chapters to illustrate a possible copyright problem related to artificial...
Using New Technologies in Healthy Lifestyle Interventions Targeted at Children: The Case of the Netherlands
Háša, Marek ; Zezulková, Markéta (advisor) ; Klimeš, David (referee)
New technologies such as social media or mobile games are often listed among the main contributors to the ever-increasing obesity rates among children. Paradoxically, the same technologies also bring potential to enhance the effectivity of healthy lifestyle interventions targeted at children. This thesis investigated the approach of the creators of such interventions towards the use of new technologies. The author devoted his attention to downstream social marketing interventions realised in the Netherlands because of the country's low youth obesity rates and exceptional position in the latest innovation rankings. The central objective of this instrumental multiple case study research was to reveal the benefits and limitations of the researched practice as perceived by the interventions' creators. Studying available documents and conducting four semi-structured interviews with the creators enabled the author to reconstruct the contexts and strategies of four Dutch healthy lifestyle interventions promoting exercise and healthy sleep and nutrition among children. The results indicated that the creators indeed regarded new technologies as a threat to children's physical and mental well-being; nevertheless, they also accepted them as an inevitable part of today's media environment and aimed to...
