The Analysis of Databases Suitable for IoT Environment
Kohout, Petr ; Vrána, Roman (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
In recent years, the volume of data stored in applications of all types has increased. As the volume of data grows, the demands on databases increase. The classic relational databases are no longer suitable. Therefore, it is switching to new, non-relational storage (called NoSQL). During this work, NoSQL databases focusing on processing large data volumes were analyzed and compared for their performance and system requirements. In addition, requirements for new sensor data storage for IoTCloud project were specified. Driver for database Cassandra was implemented and integrated into the IoTCLoud project.
Tool for Scripting Scenarios for Evaluation of Aeronautic Cockpit
Granec, Richard ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to develop a tool for managing scripts running at the background of a flight simulator. The task of these scripts is to adjust the environment of the flight simulator and in the final result the entire flight as well, in order to be used in particular situations for testing the skills of a pilot or at the implementation of a new technical device. The solution consists of a communicational application, which communicates with the simulator and sends the data to a NoSQL server and a script manager, which starts running the selected script and records its activity. Web graphic at user interface serves as a tool for selecting a particular script and its control. The software developed according to these criteria has been tested and will be used by the aviation branch of the Honeywell Company.
Internet of Things Device Based on Thread and 6LoWPAN
Piškula, David ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
Internet of Things is among the newest phenomena of information technologies. This work describes the evolution and future of the Internet of Things and provides an overview of its current applications, then summarize the communication interfaces and protocols usable for the creation of the Internet of Things. The main focus is put especially on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, 6LoWPAN protocol and the Thread technology. It also explains the term of Cloud Computing, platforms that are providing it and related types of databases. The design, implementation and testing of a Thread based solution are part of this thesis.
Client-server search engine for optimal public transport routes
Brát, Daniel ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Myška, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a client-server based program for finding the optimal path in public transport networks. Theoretical basics describe the Traveling salesman problem and mention some methods for finding its solution. This chapter is followed by a theoretical design of the application itself. Next chapter describes chosen technologies to be used. The last chapter describes the realization of the application itself. Reached goals are described in the conclusion.
Design and implementation of xPON frame processing interface
Vais, Zdeněk ; Dejdar, Petr (referee) ; Holík, Martin (advisor)
This thesis focuses on system for persistence of GPON communication. Theoretical part deals with problems of GPON and NG-PON optical networks, NoSQL database systems and MongoDB database. Practical part contains design of a database schema for MongoDB database and source code in programming languages Python and C# for working with this database. The thesis is finalized by performance testing, proving that the database design and source code implementation is capable of handling real world traffic.
Processing and Visualization of Military Sensor Data
Boychuk, Maksym ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creating, visualization and processing data in a military environment. The task is to design and implement a system that enables the creation, visualization and processing ESM data. The result of this work is a ESMBD application that allows using a classical approach, which is a relational database, and BigData technologies for data storage and manipulation. The comparison of data processing speed while using the classic approach (Postgres database) and BigData technologies (Cassandra databases and Hadoop) has been carried out as well.
Designing and creating a mobile application in a starting company
Ondrejička, Michal ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
This master thesis deals with designing and implementing mobile application dedicated for Android smartphone devices. The application will help tourists in Bratislava to better navigate between main points of interest. An analysis of internal as well as external environment precedes the design process and builds a solid base of functional, cybersecure and graphic requirements to which the solution needs to adhere to.
NoSQL Time Series Database for Sensor Data
Vizina, Petr ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with NoSQL databases, which can be used for effective storage of sensors data with character of time series. The aim is to design and implement own solution for database designed to store time series data, with usage of NoSQL.
Electronic Document Management in Project Management Tool
Gavryliuk, Olga ; Květoňová, Šárka (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This work deals with electronic document management systems (EDMS) from the perspective of selected knowledge areas of project management processes. The aim of this thesis was to create an EDM system based on an appropriately selected EDM model, which would assist in the management of documents that arise during management processes in selected areas of project management (quality, human resources and communication within the project) with the possibility of extending to other knowledge areas.
Relational and NoSQL database for collecting data from IoT devices
Tomiczek, Roman ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Šeda, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor work is focused on the analysis of the relational and NoSQL (Not only SQL) databases for collecting a huge amount of data from IoT (Internet of Things) device. Theoretical part contains an introduction to the problematic of the relational and NoSQL databases. The relational database describes fundamental principles, relational algebra, normal forms and so on. The non-relational database characterises the main properties and describes different types of typologies. It deals with the NoSQL documentation databases called Elasticsearch as well. Practical part contains a proposal and realization of the MySQL database, realization non-relational database Elasticsearch as well as JavaFx application for measurement of database parameters. Further contains results of the measurement of parameters and properties of databases.
