case management in municipalities
HORNÁTOVÁ, Zuzana
The bachelor thesis deals with case management, which is a process of coordinated cooperation between the client and the case manager. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether the municipalities with extended competence in South Bohemia have information about the benefits of case management in municipalities. The theoretical part is based on the study of literature related to the topic and is focused on the definition of terms such as case management, case management models, case manager, social work in municipalities. Furthermore, topics such as networking, case conferencing, confidentiality, community planning and health and social care are explained. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the research questions through a qualitative research strategy. The necessary data was collected through interviews with social workers from different municipalities in South Bohemia based on the recommendations of the previous communication partner. I categorised and subsequently analysed the collected material using the open coding method. On the basis of these steps it was possible to evaluate the aim of the bachelor thesis and to draw a conclusion. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that workers in municipalities in South Bohemia have only theoretical information about case management, but are aware of the importance of coordinated cooperation, which they do to a limited extent. With one exception, where the municipality uses case management in social work after prior training and increasing the number of staff. The results obtained could be used in practice by social workers in municipalities that are considering introducing case management into their social strategies.

Politicizing Sexualities: Mobilization practices and networking within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid
Wiesnerová, Vendula ; Ezzeddine, Petra (advisor) ; Kolářová, Kateřina (referee)
This ethnographic study intends to explain the recent mobilization practices within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid in reference to the strategic use of identity and networking in collective action. It describes the Spanish movement as an ideologically polarized heterogeneous aggregate. The active challenging groups criticize the dominant part of the movement for giving up its original message of sexual liberation and diluting it in consumerism by supporting capitalist tendencies and the power of leading political parties. Via launching protest campaigns and collaborating in internationally supported networks with other ideologically related social movement communities, the challenging groups demand civil rights for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or identity. They mobilize upon the collective identity of "precariousness" while integrating elements of queer and transgender theory into their radical leftist oriented politics in order to transform the Spanish society. By bringing on new critical ideas and adherents, the success of the leftist oriented challenging groups has an impact on the direction of the politics of the dominant group, which thereby is forced to adopt such ideas into their politics. Despite the disunity and antagonistic character of the movement, the...
A Testing Tool for Network Applications
Schlindenbuch, Hynek ; Kruliš, Martin (advisor) ; Ježek, Pavel (referee)
The use of network communication in applications increases their complexity and can lead to new security vulnerabilities. Existing tools do not completely satisfy the needs of network application testing. The purpose of this thesis is to create a new tool that would make it easier to test network applications. The main focus is on the overall extensibility of the solution, primarily the ability to add new protocols. The created tool is capable to operate in client, server or proxy mode for supported network protocols and to control their communication manually or using a script. Support for other protocols can be added through plugins. The tool also includes a library for implementing application layer protocols over TCP and UPD, which was used to create plugins for HTTP and WebSocket. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Náměstková, Petra ; Matoušek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Holda, Dalibor (referee)
NÁMĚSTKOVÁ, Petra. Support systém of families with handicap children. Praha: Katedra sociální práce, Universita Karlova, 2015. 70 p. Diploma thesis. This work is devoted to problems of support systems of families with handicap children. The aim of this work is exploring the support systems of families with handicap children in the Czech Republic. (There is possibility to compare the region of Prague and Pardubice.) The theoretical part describes basic characterization of disability, it is intent on families who are take care of children with disability, it describes too social network and it also points out the common problems of the social care for individuals with handicap and possibilities of support goups. In order to achieve the aim of this work, it was necessary to obtain needful data. Therefore, a structured interview was used as one of the techniques of qualitative research. Among those who were interviewed were parents of handicap children. Because there are only twenty families in the research group of this diploma thesis it is not possible to generalize obtained information for all families with handicap children. It is necessary to take this fact into account and to apply all the conclusions only for the explored group which arised at a certain place and time. Based on the results of...
