Converting PET bottles into printing filament

This thesis deals with the development of a machine for converting PET bottles into printing filament. The theoretical aspect of the thesis is mainly focused on the history of 3D printing, comparison of its methods and sustainability. An important part of the thesis is also a chapter on the motivation to create the machine and a research of available solutions. Based on the choice of suitable machine design, the machine was built and tested. Instructions for its construction were created and uploaded to the Printables portal.

Software tools for creating project documentation

This Bachelor thesis deals with software tools for the creation of project documentation. The thesis starts with an introduction to project documentation, where its history, the timeline of creation and the benefits for end users are described. The next chapterpresents the division and characteristics of the projection tools. Subsequently, the characteristics of the most commonly used programs for the creation of project documentation are presented, which are divided into categories according to their use. The thesisalso provides an overview of selected programs used by designers. The following part focuses on the creation of a model project of a single-storey family house. The project includes technical report, layout, switchboard design and budget. The final part presents manuals for the design of project documentation, which include work with the programs ElProCAD, Sichr and Verox.

Innovation of digital image processing exercises

The bachelor thesis deals with innovation of lectures in the field of image processing. The innovation consists in the preparation of instructions for individual exercises in alternative programs, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended is now used in exercises. The first chapter deals with color models, spaces, color management and bitmap file formats. The second chapter introduces alternative bitmap editors – Adobe Photoshop CC 2021, GIMP, Affinity Photo, Zoner Photo Studio X, Corel PaintShop Pro 2022. Then they are compared according to several criteria, the cost for the school and students is considered and a selection of programs suitable for teaching image processing is made. In the next chapters, instructions for individual exercises are made in selected programs and an evaluation of the suitability of these programs for teaching is performed.

Phonetic processing of speech using Praat

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a Czech manual for beginners with software Praat. Praat is a software package designed for speech processing. It can be used for speech analysis and synthesis. In this work is described Praat user interface, operations with files in the program, sound recording, editing and analysis of these sounds. Manual is supplemented with examples of solved phonetic problems. The second goal of this thesis is to create a script to extract vowels and some consonants from voice records. The thesis contains description of chosen principles of recognition of vowels based on formants and intensity contour and the principle of recognition of consonants based on the ratios of energy in predetermined frequency bands. The success rate of the script is thoroughly examined and various optimization methods are discussed.

In my work I deal with how to do things. Instructional videos, printed paper instructions for using the product or performing an artistic event - all serve only as a platform for self-realization. The condition in the approach is not strictly following the established procedures. Rather, it is about reassessing what is essential at the moment.

SIP Protocol Implementation

This Master’s thesis deals in detail with the SIP protocol – a method of communication between two entities, various types of transmitted messages and their content. Few SIP libraries are introduced and two of them are used for development of an application for audio/video conference-calls. Compilation of OPAL and PTlib libraries for Windows 7 Professional (64bit) is described, and problems resulting from lack of information provided by authors. New improved “how to build” is presented. At the end, paper focuses on several ways of development of mentioned application.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the use of project management methods in the development of an application for a company. The first part deals with the theoretical concepts and methods that are used in the design part. The analytical part describes the current state of the company AUTOCONT a.s., where the project is implemented, and the way projects are managed there. It also describes the project itself, for which the design part of the thesis refers to the use of project management tools to develop an application for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central enterprise information system.

Application of control systems from AMiT

The work is devoted to the problem of programming control systems, especially PLC, with an emphasis on the possibility of using products of Czech manufacture. After a brief introduction to the topic of control systems, the theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to a survey of the Czech market. A more detailed explanation is made of AMiT products. Selected products of the above mentioned manufacturer are used in the practical part, which demonstrates the use of AMiRiS99 and AMR-OP83 systems on a simple task of controlling traffic lights.
