This master thesis focuses on the agile methods description and their use in creating of company strategic material. The main part of this thesis consist of the SCRUM and Kanban method. The work contribution is an optimization of the document creation process. The solution proposed is implemented through the MS SharePoint server with mind mapping module and Kanban board module. Thanks to this solution, company project can be managed in a more effective, faster and higher quality way.

In my Bachelor thesis I will present mind mapping which is a relatively less known method that enables initiation and capturing individual appropriately focused thought processes, content and structure of individual employees who are working in the sales department. These empolyees are on a daily basis in contact with the customer. The content of the notion that I was in the organization decided to investigate is the CUSTOMER. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to find out how individual employees perceive the concept of customer. The results of qualitative research by the mental mapping method will bring important associations about the concept of customer, which will be spontaneously reflected in the mind of the worker. In every way executive management needs to know what the employees are spontaneously thinking about the customer in order to improved customer care.

The Master's Thesis is focused on methods and tools in knowledge management. The paper introduce knowledge management its history and present. Meanwhile history is presented as a list of important events present view is supported by current trends in field of knowledge management, business analysis of selected companies and evaluation of available publications on the topic of knowledge management. The main aim the paper is to present suitable methodology for the initial phase of Mitroff's model - conceptualization. The selected approach is then applied to the model situation. It is the decision of the city government for the construction and expansion of local factory. The last part is about Business Model Canvas which aims to outline the possible application of the methodology in practice.
Online system for creating mind maps

The bachelor thesis deals with online systems for the design and creation of conceptual maps and mind maps. Maps are a method of recording information, helping to organize this information, describe and classify. The task is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is an analysis of already available online systems for creating mind maps. Common functionality of these systems are listed in the summary table along with brief descriptions. This section also contains a selection of the most appropriate technology for system implementation. The practical part is the actual system implementation based on a theoretical analysis and process design. The final step is putting the system into operation.
Knowledge management system in the form of knowledge network

Knowledge is one of the most important values of companies, work-teams and other organizations. It is one of competitive advantages and so it is important to share the knowledge among individuals in the organization. The discipline of knowledge management deals with the issue of systematic work with knowledge and sharing for several decades. The sharing and finding of knowledge should be supported via suitable software tools, currently using the Internet network. This work deals with problematic of knowledge management from the viewpoint of different methods of software support. The text approaches the problem of sharing of knowledge in a hypertext form. The problem is solved not only on theoretical base, but also from the viewpoint of system design and implementation. The knowledge is saved in the form of "knowledge network" based on text contents, authors and keywords. The data are saved in the form of RDF graph using PHP and ARC2 Framework. The developed system will be used not only for support of dealing with knowledge in the courses of project management at University of Economics in Prague.
Use of mental maps in IT project management

The thesis studies feasibility of using mind mapping applications for IT project management. The main objective is the analysis of using mind mapping applications in the context of project management and finding the links between mind maps and components of project management. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part the author clarifies the mind mapping concept, how to create mind maps and the use of those. The relatively broad area of project management is introduced in the same manner starting with the main terms, brief overview of the project management methodologies and standards. The introduction further continues by describing individual project phases, their dimensions and provides examples of tools and techniques. The practical part consists of three chapters. In the first chapter the author analyses mind mapping SW applications, describes the mind mapping software market and explains the selection of an appropriate tool using multi criteria evaluation and using hands on experience with the tools. The second chapter demonstrates practical examples of project management topics with related instances of mental models and everyday activities where mind maps can be used. The last chapter describes a survey related to the awareness of mind mapping concepts which also gathers feedback about mind mapping application experience from IT project management professionals.
