The Use of Project Management Methods in Development of the Mobile Game

The aim of this thesis is creating a plan leading to the successful completion of a project dealing with the development of a mobile game, and will subsequently test this model to determine the potential start of independent business of a particular interest organization, without the need for an initial investment. The thesis first deals with the description of the interest organization and then the analysis of the current state of the business market to which this group is heading. In the next part, a specific plan is proposed according to the organization's strategy with a focus on releasing a mobile game without the need for targeted marketing, as this product has been created for the community, which was built by the organization before the project realization started.
Educational Cross Platform Mobile Game for Youngsters

Mobile Tower Defense Game

The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile game in game engine Unity. This thesis describes game development on mobile devices and the development of mobile game in Unity engine. The basis of this mobile game is formed in the Unity game engine as well as animations of characters whose graphics were created using Gimp software. The game contains a full-fledged single player campaign with several level variants, containing various tower and enemy mechanics. The game also offers a simplified editor for creating your own maps for possible sharing with other players. The game is set in a fictional medieval world and is enriched with mechanics that are not typical for tower defense games, such as playing as the other side.

The thesis is focused on international marketing of gaming industry. It’s focus is on trends and possibilities of international marketing strategy for microtransactions. The theoretical part aims to define basic concept of gaming industry, marketing, microtransactions, customer behavior and ways to engage with him. The analytical part is creating a concept of international marketing strategy for a game, which is being developed by the author of this thesis based on quality research and theoretical background. This strategy is supposed to engage with customers not interested in microtransactions.
Frog: Educational Game in Unity

The aim of this thesis is to design and develop a mobile game with educational elements about Czech republics flora and fauna near bodies of water. The game is split into main and minor parts, where the main 3D scene has the player moving and exploring freely around the map as a frog. The primary goal of the player is to fill out an album by discovering and hunting all available specimen of czech fauna and flora. Minor parts are made of various minigames, where the player excercises various skills like memory, logical thinking or reaction timing. These minigames are based on games like Flappy Bird, Frogger, Lights Out, Whack-A-Mole. Three last minigames are digital implementation of a card memory game, a labyrinth puzzle with a ball and a "remember&repeat" game. The final aplication is develop with the help of game development engine Unity.

Development of mobile application in game industry

This thesis describes process of design and development of multiplayer online mobile game. Including ways of monetisation, setting a game goals and design of user interface and game environment. It also shows potential problems which can occur while developing this kind of a game. All this is demonstrated on real mobile game project targeting all major mobile operating systems. Inseparable part of this thesis is also summary of mobile operating systems and tools currently used in mobile game development.
