Measurement and forecasting of tax revenues
Bayer, Ondřej ; Vítek, Leoš (advisor) ; Pavel, Jan (referee)
This work is aimed on measurement and forecasting of tax revenues. The target is to explain issue of tax revenues measurement by other ways and after that to create forecasting models of tax revenues since 2001 to 2011. For achieving this target is used literature and economethric modeling methodology. At first is analyzed difference between acrual and cash methods of tax revenue's measurement from the view of different methodologies. After that econometric models are created for each of the choosen tax revenues. These models are analyzed for the quality of forecasting. From the results is clear, that tax revenues have a part, which could be described by macroeconomic variables. But these models reveals, that part of the tax revenue could be described by autonomous or random component. Models themselves could be affected by failure of elemental econometrics assumptions.

Localization and customization of OpenUP methodology
Rejnková, Petra ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Stanovská, Iva (referee)
These days there are a lot of methodologies which can be used for IS/ICT implementation projects. Apart from traditional rigorous methodologies such as Rational Unified Process (RUP), there are also agile methodologies, which are characterized by positive approach to change and iterative development with very short iterations. One of these methodologies is OpenUP, which combines both agile and rigorous principles. OpenUP covers the most important factors necessary to focus on during software development, but on the other hand it also respects the fact that each project is unique. That is why it offers the possibility to extend or customize its content for specific requirements. The main objective of this diploma is to localize and customize OpenUP methodology for the projects which are running within the courses of software engineering at the University of Economics in Prague. The result if this customization and localization is a methodology suitable for small software projects called MMSP. This diploma also pursues other objectives like to find and characterize tools suitable for administration and customization of the methodology. These objectives were achieved by deep analysis of various sources about OpenUP methodology, information system development projects and methodologies of IS/ICT development. The resulting methodology was not only based on these information but it also results from experiences and best practices from the projects at the University of Economics in Prague and from consultations with experts in practice. The key benefit of this diploma is a complete Czech localized methodology MMSP which can be used both for school and real projects of IS/ICT development. MMSP is available in a form that can be easily embraced, further customized and administrated.

Choice of the suitable software from the viewpoint of multi-criteria decision making
Mašátová, Jana ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (referee)
In today's world there are many different substitutes for most products and services, increasing the demands on decision-making among substitutes. In order to make a decision, it may be very helpful to use multi-criterial methods for evaluating of the options, which are available to the general public through special programs. Thank to these programs, the general public does not have to be informed in detail about multi-criterial methods and can use the convenience of multi-criteria analysis. The aim of this thesis is to describe and compare the publicly available noncommercial czech software that allows the simplification of choice when choosing from several options according to specified criteria. The thesis work is focused on discrete models of evaluation that are simpler and more suitable for pre-defined alternatives. Non-commercial programs, many of which were created at universities, are evaluated in this thesis. Furthermore, some very well-known evaluation methods, which appear in some programs, are presented.

The created tutorials were published on the special website and presented (not only) to students. Within 14-day testing period a large dataset was acquired to provide feedback both from tracking visitors' movements on the website and from e-questionnaires. The feedback was thoroughly analysed and the conclusions were used for the optimalization of the methodology which was finalized by this step and is disposable for authors of future educational tutorials.
The development of application of the principles of tax process in the CR
Klvaňa, Libor ; Vančurová, Alena (advisor) ; Finardi, Savina (referee)
This diploma work has, as its main objective, the investigation of the influence of the court judicature on the interpretation and application of the tax procedural rules, particularly their principles of the tax process and tax administration in the CR. The object of the investigation was to ascertain if the Act No. 337/1992 of Collection of Law, respecting the administration of taxes and charges, was a satisfactory and suitable procedural norm in the tax process, and if the principles of the tax process and existing judicature provided the tax subject and the tax administrator with an adequate legal certainty in these problems. First, I examined constitutional principles in the CR and the general principles of the administrative law in relation to the tax theory and tax administration. Then I moved on from principles of the tax theory to a detailed analysis of the court judicature in the interpretation and application of the principles of the tax process. I carried out a comparison of the existing, and the new, principles of the tax process and tax administration, which are govern commencing January 1, 2011, when the new Tax Rules came into force. In the diploma work, in the area of the principles of the administrative law, I dealt with the investigative question: To what extent it might be possible to use the existing Administrative Rules, in a subsidiary manner, in the tax process and tax administration, mainly focusing on all the principles stated in it, which are not included in the new Tax Rules.
