The Performance Evaluation of the Company Using the EFQM Excellence Model
Šauerová, Lucie ; Bohatá, Jolana (referee) ; Bartoš, Vojtěch (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the performance measurement of the company CALIBRI, Ltd. The first part of the thesis explains the term performance and describes methods of performance measurement. In the next part is outlined the profile of the company with its current situation. In the practical part, the evaluation of the performance is measured by START model. The last section is devoted to a summary assessment of the situation of the chosen company and suggestion for improving the company´s performance.
Control unit for turbofan jet engine TFE731
Slavotínek, Jan ; Mikuláštík, Jiří (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is classified as an internal experimental project whose aim is to design HW and low level SW of simplified version of the controller for TFE731 turbofan engine according to defined requirements. The expected outputs in addition to the system design is also information about possible technical problems and difficulties arising during the analysis and development of the system. The work covers a brief look into the history of aviation and avionics, theoretical analysis turbofan engine, analysis of measured and controlled variables. Based on the requirements analysis and I/O values is made circuit design (HW) and design of the low level control software.
Calibration rutines of the standard Datron 4920
Schinneck, Jakub ; Bednář, Pavel (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This master’s deals with the calibration routines of the alternating voltage measurement standard Datron 4920. The first part introduces the basic terminology of metrology, its history and organizations specializing in metrology. The thesis describes the alternating voltage at the highest metrological level through AC/DC difference. The theoretical part also describes the alternating voltage measurement standard Datron 4920 and its measurement functions together with the calibration routines. The main aim of thesis is to create the calibration procedures AVMS Datron 4920. Based on the created calibration procedures, a flowchart of application for calibration routines is designed. The practical part then continues with programming application for calibrating AVMS Datron 4920 based on the created flowchart. In conclusion, the application is tested at selected points of measurement and an analysis of measurement uncertainties is carried out.
The quality of electric energy in a low voltage public supply networks
Macoszek, Pavel ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Bok, Jaromír (advisor)
This thesis contains four main chapters, which describe qualitative parameters of supply voltage and measurement and analysis received information. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. Characteristics of low voltage are described in the first chapter. Next chapter describes disturbing events, which have influence on quality supply voltage, reasons for their occurrence spreading in network, eventually arrangement leading to the disappearance of disturbing events on other electric appliances in network. Last theoretical chapter describes measuring instruments of supply voltage. The purpose of these theoretical parts is to introduce the reader into supply voltage quality issues and can be used for preparation of measurement and evaluation of acquired data under norm ČSN EN 50160 (Voltage characteristic of electricity supplied by public distribution systems). An analysis of real network is the last part of this thesis. There is applied acquired knowledge with the aim of analysis of real states of qualitative parameters of supply voltage in network.
Household Management in iOS
Marek, Jakub ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The main goal of this work is design and implementation of reporting tool for household management. The tool is developed as an application for iPhone running on iOS version 7.0 or higher. The application allows record the status of energy meters, the temperature and expenditures of user's home. User inserts records using the UI, which is usually used for this kind of application. The output of the application is an overview of energy consumption, average temperature and expenses for a specific period of time. The output can be in the form of gestures driven graph displayed in the application or annual reports in PDF, which you can send by e-mail, export to Dropbox, etc. An important part of the application is the long term storage of all user-entered data and their backup or transfer to other devices via iCloud and Dropbox service.
Temperature Measuring in Wellness
Gábriš, Michal ; Žaloudek, Luděk (referee) ; Bartoš, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with creation of operation program for digitally calibrated thermometer measuring two temperatures, which can be used in wellness centers. The thermometer operates in two modes, the mode of measuring and displaying of water temperature, and the mode of linear digital calibration, in which the temperature sensors are set. The Bachelor thesis contains both the description of used hardware components, and software solution implemented in assembly language. This device is already in commercial use.
Temperature measurement of an asynchronous motor
Bartoň, Petr ; Deeb, Ramia (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
In this thesis there are described methods which are used in order to measure a temperature in electric machines. Whereas there is an influence of magnetic field and mechanical effects in the electric machines it is possible to use only limited number of methods for measuring temperature. These methods can be divided into two basic groups. The first group is being called "contact measurement" and while the second one is "non-contact measurement". Contact measurements are performed by usage of resistant sensors or thermocouples. On the other hand, non-contact measurements are performed by pyrometers and thermal imager cameras. Theoretical values of warming are determined by the FEMM which operates on the basis of the finite element method. In the practical part there are compared several methods whereby asynchronous engine was measured at various loads. Measured values are compared with theoretical values.
Determination of Blood Pressure Parameters for Ventilation Control during Anaestesia in Horses
Horský, Martin ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
The present work deals with the issue of hemodynamic monitoring of blood pressure in horses during mechanical ventilation in anesthetized horses. Result of this work is an extension to the application Datex-Ohmeda S/5 Collect, which from the pressure curve provides values needed for optimal ventilation. Initial chapter provides a general physiologic introduction. It describes the definition of blood pressure, cardiac cycle and description of the pressure curve. It also deals with the hemodynamic parameters such as pulse pressure, stroke volume and their variabilities. In the second chapter is described methodology of measuring blood pressure in horses. Both, noninvasive and invasive methods are included. The third chapter analyzes fluctuations in blood pressure during ventilation. The last fourth chapter describes the implemented extension module which is designed to monitor hemodynamic parameters of the pressure curve.
