Model Knowledge Management

In my master’s thesis I focus on the questions of knowledge management. Theoretical part covers explanation of the basic terms and way outs of knowledge management, describes its models and perspectives and ways of its implementation and evaluation in organizations. The second part involves analysis of the present state in enterprise and designs and evaluates knowledge management with implementation recommendations.
Knowledge management of nurses inside learning organization

This diploma thesis deals with the process of learning, knowledge management and the concept of learning organization as strategic directions in the field of education, learning and development of employees. The theoretical part describes knowledge management as an essential part of the management of a successfully functioning and continuously developing organization, which is exposed to increasing pressure of competition, demanding clients and economic burden. In this case the setting of corporate culture towards the learning organization is equally important. Since the organization set up in this direction has created a suitable environment for the effective development of knowledge, skills and experience, not only in the classical form of lifelong learning, which is given in case of the general nurses by legislation, but above all the creation, development and transfer of knowledge between individuals and the team is emphasized. The master thesis deals with optimization of business processes in a telecommunication company views of knowledge management. For this purpose, attention is paid to the following areas, namely knowledge management, implementation methodologies of knowledge management, process analysis and process optimization. The theoretical part deals mainly with the link between knowledge management and ways of managing organizations, it presents a theoretical framework necessary for the practical part of the work, which is based on implementation of monitoring system using selected methodology in an environment of selected organization.
Knowledge management system in the form of knowledge network

Knowledge is one of the most important values of companies, work-teams and other organizations. It is one of competitive advantages and so it is important to share the knowledge among individuals in the organization. The discipline of knowledge management deals with the issue of systematic work with knowledge and sharing for several decades. The sharing and finding of knowledge should be supported via suitable software tools, currently using the Internet network. This work deals with problematic of knowledge management from the viewpoint of different methods of software support. The text approaches the problem of sharing of knowledge in a hypertext form. The problem is solved not only on theoretical base, but also from the viewpoint of system design and implementation. The knowledge is saved in the form of "knowledge network" based on text contents, authors and keywords. The data are saved in the form of RDF graph using PHP and ARC2 Framework. The developed system will be used not only for support of dealing with knowledge in the courses of project management at University of Economics in Prague.
Wiki systems as a knowledge management tool

This thesis concentrates on wiki systems as an ICT tool of knowledge management. Thesis is divided into two general parts - the first deals with the theoretical concepts such as: data, information, knowledge or community. Doctoral thesis reflects the way in which these terms are understood in different scientific disciplines, especially knowledge management. The second part deals with wiki systems, which are viewed not just in general and theoretical level, but they are also approached practically. The work provides an analysis of possible uses of wiki as a tool for knowledge management in the organization. At the end of the work there are published case studies of specific wiki system implementations (both local and from abroad) to illustrate the work's conclusions. The work has confirmed that the wiki system can be successfully used as a tool of knowledge management. The output of the work on the theoretical level is author's "circular model of know-ledge"; while on the practical level the output is determination of suitable areas for dep-loyment of wiki systems in the organization. In the end author quotes a number of case studies (both foreign and local) wiki systems implementation.

V teoretické části jsou popsané pohledy moderní vědy na data, informace a znalosti, proces tvorby a řízení znalostí z hlediska knowlege managementu. V praktické části jsou podrobněji probrány otázky tvorby a řízení znalostí na přikladu reálne organizace, a podrobněji analyzovany problemy spojené neefektivní praci se znalostí a mozností zlepšeni .

Knowledge management of small and medium enterprises with Web 2.0 technologies

The thesis aims to examine the opportunities for Web 2.0 trends in the knowledge management of an enterprise. Its main focus is the Enterprise 2.0 systems. The goal is to show the potential Enterprise 2.0 systems have to offer to an enterprise, how it can contribute to an effective knowledge management and how an enterprise can thus increase its efficiency. The thesis also covers the Enterprise 2.0 implementation process emphasizing the importance of its incorporation into a wider framework of corporate culture. The practical part suggests a knowledge management solution for one of the leading language schools in Prague, Czech Republic, aiming to share knowledge among its teachers.
