Šafránek's Chronicle of Town Hořice as Ethnographic Source

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the chronicle, written by the craftsman František Šafránek from Hořice. The chronicle describes events from the second half of 19th century. Its use as an ethnographic source provides a large amount of themes, from which were chosen small-town festivities for detailed analysis. These records brings us opportunity to get a closer look at the festivities and their course as perceived by the eyes of their direct participant. There are not only traditional festivities of folk origin but also festivities originated during 19th century, especially in the last third of this century in connection with society changes. The chronicle recorded by František Šafránek is one of sources which can contribute to understanding of festivities in 19th century. This master thesis deals with the history of Kladruby's monastery, about it's establishment and development during centuries. Further, it deals with the change of lifestyle in the monastery, as well as outside of it. This thesis highlights the outstanding architectural beauty of the Baroque Gothic style of Czech architects Jan Blažej Santini Aichel and Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer.

Where I Come From - Velké Březno and the surrounding area The aim of this work is to create an educational project for pupils of the fourth and fifth grades to help them understand the connections between countryside, natural resources, population density, economic use of resources and development of transportation networks in the 19th and 20th centuries. The scope of this thesis is determined by the area encompassed by the school district of Velké Březno, that is, the right bank of the Elbe from Ústi nad Labem to Těchlovice. The theoretical part describes the area for which the project has been proposed from the socio- geographic point of view, and includes methods and lesson formats. The practical part contains work material meant as didactic inspiration for teaching local history.

Chronicle of the grammar school Krásnohorská 1947-1952

The bachelor thesis focuses on an edition of school chronicle, written at "Krásnohorská" grammar school for girls in 1947-1952, including its commentary. Said chronicle is deposited in Prague City Archives, as is the oldest chronicle of this school, which was written in 1890-1936. Its edition was made by PhDr. Milada Sekyrková, CSc. in 2016. This thesis follows this previous edition, so it could complete a whole. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is focuses on the development of education from the school reform of Maria Theresa to 1954. Then there is a description of advancement of the grammar schools on our territory, which is followed by development of the process of effort to develop education of girls in 19th century. The main purpose of this part then represents an essay about Minerva society and the history of "Krásnohorská" grammar school for girls. The second part focuses on the development of school chronicles since their beginnings till present day. It is followed by previously mentioned edition, which include a commentary, an index of names and a table of abbreviations.
The classification of the "rebels" in Koryŏ biographies in the chronicle Koryŏsa

(in English): The political and social circumstances of the Koryŏ period gave rise to the phenomenon of the so called rebels. The official chronicle Koryŏsa recorded their cases in thirty-eight biographies that were supposed to serve as a warning for the posterity. What models of rebels and sorts of revolts did exist according to the chronicle and what conditions did enable their occurrence?
