HMI automatic tester
Lang, Stanislav ; Žalud, Luděk (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to the automation of tests of the thermostats developed by the company Honeywell. The first chapter presents a problem of self-testing of thermostats, followed by a discussion of possible approaches to solutions. Attention is paid to testing the functionality of the HMI of thermostats, especially to the part of the system, that deals with activation of touchscteen, but no other part of the problem are omitted in the text. Discussions of the problematic passes into the design and implementation of specific design solutions. The selected design of 3D-router, which moves in three orthogonal coordinates and resembles to a coordinate drill for example. First, it describes the basic concepts of mechanic and electronic part of equipment, and subsequently is designed and implemented control electronics for mechanical activator HMI. Each of the electronics components are described in detail and values of parts are based on the calculation with the exception of finished parts. The proposal of the electronics follows the possibility of maximization of universality module for applications in similar applications. The functionality of the electronics is controlled by a microprocessor with a custom program that is described in the work. Source code of some the programs is not available because it is know-how of the company. Next part of the thesis deals with optimization of the moving of axes, optimization is done empirically by measuring. An important issue is compliance with the accuracy required position, also part of the work is devoted to the issue of calibration position. Finally is solved the continuity on the superior system. It is designed and implemented the upper layer of the communication protocol used in the company. Work is the solution of specific corporate award thesis. Although it is a very specific role of the works are generally applicable for other applications. In particular, the proposed electronic represents relatively universal controller for stepper motor control.
Server and client management hosting services using Qt4 framework and Linux
Matas, Jakub ; Stančík, Peter (referee) ; Matocha, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and the implementation of a client/server application for the administration of hosting services. Other solutions of hosting services administration are listed as well and they are contrasted and compared with the assigned solution. A description of the particular hosting services and their setting for the Ubuntu Linux distribution are provided. A communication protocol and a data store serving to save all the client accounts and servers were designed. Basic principles of working with C++ framework Qt and its usage for the implementation of both the server and the client application are demonstrated. The basic settings of the server application enabling it to be launched on the server as a service are mentioned as well. In the last part a description is stated of working with the client applications and administration of the client accounts.
Software for Processing of Head Position Sensor Data
Slávik, Vladimír ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Čížek, Martin (advisor)
The paper introduces briefly topics of retinal detachment, vitrectomy and applicable postoperative care. A system for increasing patient comfort is described, which continuously records and signalizes head tilt. The software part of aforementioned system is implemented, using C++ Builder programming environment and helper libraries supplied by system's hardware component vendors. This software application allows user to analyze recorded data and manage the system. Application's user interface and usage is described in detail, as well as implementation details concerning internal functions and organization.
MPKT communication protocol extension on .NET platform
Görlich, Tomáš ; Malý, Jan (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on extension of MPKT 2008 communication protocol. It has been made analysis of this protocol version and proposals to improve and extend this version with other options have been raised. It has been created a new version of the protocol on the basis of the proposals. Then the .NET platform has been presented and its architecture has been described. The C# language available on the .NET platform has been chosen to implement the new protocol version and its facilities for network communication and threading have been described. It has been said an assessment of the application of this programming language in practical lessons. A proposal to update tutorial texts has been made.
Implementation of a simulation model for a simplified DiffServ-MIB database
Zeman, Otto ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
The aim of this work is to propose feasible solution for the simulation of the SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) protocol in the OPNET Modeler simulation environment. This work describes in detail individual procedures, which were chosen for this simulation . The work also contains an introduction to the OPNET Modeler simulation environment, the SNMP protocol, the DiffServ model and the DiffServ-MIB database. The main part of this work describes the algorithms programmed to model the functions of the SNMP protocol. Source codes of the algorithms programmed are included as well. The work deals especially with the functions for obtaining values from different levels of a multilevel model attributes, packet creation functions with dynamically changing length of user-data field, for the implementation process of a simplified DiffServ MIB database and with the functions for statistic creation.
PDA software for robot soccer
Uhlíř, Luděk ; Honzík, Petr (referee) ; Hrabec, Jakub (advisor)
Robotic soccer is a game like a real soccer but here the game is played by robots. The rules are the same, only there are few exceptions (foul, penalty kick, stalemate situation). Game is running without the human intervention. Just a human referee is supervising the game. Two teams are attending the game. Each of them has a control computer. The control computer is the brain of the game. It has a camera, it is making decisions for the next step of robots and sending them configuration data. The thesis deals with testing of communication interface and designs the new communication protocol for the next generation of the robots. The testing is provided by pocket pc Palm TX. It will send data over the Bluetooth interface to the control pc and will configure particular constants, like constants of PID regulator and an address of a robot. This will be provided by the IrDA interface.
Communication SW ARION
Kaczmarczyk, Václav ; Kašík, Petr (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is creating diagnostic software for analyse communication via protocol ARION. That software would record and store communication data which can be analyzed late and also allows direct communication analysis in real time. Except that there will be visualization functions, for effective representation of data (stored or real-time recorded). This software can be used either by net developers or by end-users like easy visualization software. Next point is describing communication protocol ARION and create developer’s handbook. The practical part of this thesis consists of two points. The first one is developing simple device which allows communicating via protocol ARION. In second communication firmware for that device is written and tested.
Creation of the client for the communications protocol Jabber
PEŠKOVÁ, Petra
This Bachaleror's thesis describes and compares the best known communication protocols (ICQ, AIM, MSN, Gadu Gadu, IRC, Google chat a Yahoo! Messenger), especially the Jabber protocol. A part of this thesis is to design an instant messaging client based on Jabber protocol.
Flying Amorphous Computer
Petrů, L. ; Wiedermann, Jiří
A formal model of so-called flying amorphous computer is designed. It is known that to any RAM computer with a given input there exists an amorphous flying computer whose size only depends on the size of the input and which simulates the given RAM computer with an arbitrarily small error probability.
