Using mobile phone in feedback rehabilitation
Mynařík, Ondřej ; Žalud, Luděk (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate sensors used in Android mobile phones for measuring inclination and their comparation with precise reference sensor Xsens. Another goal is to create Android application for measuring inclination of balance desk. This application communicates with a computer by Bluetooth. Results indicates that sensors in mobile phones are sufficient enough to replace the precise sensor Xsens for measuring inclination of balance desk. Based on the results mobile application was created. Using a mobile phone with this application can replace Xsens, which results in rapid decrease of the price and the possible use in rehabilitation centers or by patients.
Estimating Human Movement Using Accelerometers
Single wheel vehicle
Hanuš, Radek ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to design and build a self-balancing vehicle similar to a skateboard, utilizing only one wheel located in the centre of the device. The steering will be controlled by driver‘s tilt and the ride will resemble snowboarding or surfing. The initial part focuses on a comparison between commercially available devices. Frequently used components and their main attributes are described in the next part. After that, a possible solution is outlined, followed by an electrical design and firmware‘s function explanation. Final build, its set-up and overall results are summarised in the last part of this thesis.
Design and manufacture of a two-wheeled unstable robot
Vecheta, Vít ; Dobossy, Barnabás (referee) ; Adámek, Roman (advisor)
The first part of this work contains a review of similar unstable robots, their drives, and control electronics. The practical part of this work focuses on the design and construction of a two-wheeled unstable robot. The first step involves conducting simulations to determine the necessary parameters of motors and other components. These simulations are used to establish the required specifications for the motors and other components. Subsequently, a mechanical design and electronics are developed. The practical section concludes with the proposal of a cascade PID controller for the robot’s control. The final part evaluates the robot’s balance capabilities, identifies design errors, and suggests possible future improvements.
