Enterprise Deployment of the OSGi Platform
Pech, David ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the OSGi technology that offers distinct approach to modularity of the Java language. The technology is shown in connection to the natural evolution of the language. The thesis discusses practical elements of the OSGi approach from application design through development stages to the server deployment and maintenance phase. An example application is build upon the presented recommendations. The application is stress-tested with several simulations of different realistic traffic types. The thesis sums up the usage of the OSGi technology and evaluates its aspects.
Petri Nets Virtual Machine Persistency
Bayer, Jan ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with persistence for Java language. It presents and compares already existing standards and systems, and introduces a design and implementation of persistence for Java SE platform with object data stored in XML files.
Multiaplication smart cards
Meluzín, Ivo ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Sobotka, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the first part of the thesis is to describe the options of wide usage of chip cards in different segments of our life. Consequently it is necessary to mention hardware and software equipment of smart card, its communication with terminal and data security. In this thesis we focus on Java Card environment in which we will try to create two applications, one for electronic purse and the second for user identification. Basically, we need to mention multiapplicational rules of sharing data and objects. At the end of the thesis we are focusing on the possibility of mutual interference between the applications and on protection against attacks. Also future applications of this technology are described.
Modern e-learning system on the JAVA platform
Hák, Tomáš ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This dissertation is studying e-learning – electronic form of education. At once it is analysing in details the advantages and disadvantages of this new form of education approach and is describing possibilities of some chosen e-learning systems and their basic structures. In the second part of this dissertation are said basic principles and possibilities of programming language Java in which language is designed it's own concept of system, that should make possible for users to manage and control the e-learning. In this part is described progress of communication between server and client, method of sending off the SQL (query) and receiving result too. In last part is viewed resulting application as a whole, is explained basic controlling, possibilities of administration and methods of entering data. Application itself is tested on local testing server.
Applications for Teaching Work with Regular Expressions
Heroutová, Tereza ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
The document describes the formation of an application, which allows interactiv instruction how to work with regular expressions. We stress clear interpretation of material and effective user interface to make handling intuitive as much as possible. The document describes theory of regular expressions, pedagogic side of the things and implementation with feature extensions.
