Title: The influence of a movement intervention based on developmental kinesiology principles on female athletes in the 18+ category of sports aerobics. Objective: Determining the effectiveness of a 10week movement intervention based on core stabilization for correcting faulty posture and alleviating back pain in four elite sport aerobics competitors in the age category of 18 and above. Methods: Evaluation of body posture aspects in a static standing position, examination of trunk stabilization, Young Spine Questionnaire survey, and a 10week movement intervention utilizing exercises to strengthen trunk stabilization based on the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization concept enriched with a mobilizing exercise for the Sacroiliac joint. Qualitative research is chosen as the research strategy. Results: The 10week movement program based on strengthening trunk stabilization according to the DNS concept with an element of releasing the SI joint had a positive impact on reducing the frequency of back pain in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions of the spine by one degree in 3 out of 4 girls. Reduction in pain intensity in the cervical spine occurred in 3 out of 4 girls by one degree, in the thoracic spine, all girls experienced a reduction in pain intensity by one degree, and in the lumbar spine, 3...
The effect of the deep stabilization system on the prevention of knee injuries in soccer
Hudíková, Klára ; Demeková, Júlia (advisor) ; Veselá, Jana (referee)
This bachelor's thesis examines the deep spinal stabilization system and its effect on knee stability of soccer players for future injury prevention. Joint instability is cited as a major risk factor for non-contact knee injuries. Therefore, this thesis explores the possibility of improving its stability by improving the activation of the deep stabilization system of the spine. Soccer is a collective sport with a large player base and with this comes a high number of injuries. Among the most common of these are knee injuries. The movements performed in football require precise coordination of the activity of the muscles of the lower limbs. These movements are discussed in this thesis, along with the most common football-specific injury patterns. The functional aspects of the deep stabilization system of the spine are also presented. This is a set of muscles of the trunk, diaphragm and pelvic floor that, when properly coordinated, provide spinal bracing during posturally demanding positions. Its proper development begins in early childhood and its involvement depends, among other things, on the correct positioning of the segments. Its function is discussed in detail by Professor Kolář in his concept of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, which is described in the paper. In the practical part of the...
Možnosti kompenzace svalových dysbalancí způsobených jízdou na koni u hobby jezdců
VYDLÁKOVÁ, Klára
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of influencing muscle imbalances occurring in hobby horse riders. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to summarize and describe the most common muscle imbalances that occur in horse riders and also to suggest possible influences on these imbalances. These two objectives were achieved in the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis. The third and fourth objectives were to design a suitable exercise unit and also to evaluate its effect. This objective is already related to the practical part of this bachelor thesis, the actual research. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical research. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge about muscle imbalances, the riding seat, its errors and compensatory exercises. The practical part is devoted to the description of the research that was conducted. It also includes the actual exercise unit constructed from the described methods. The research itself was conducted in the form of qualitative research and involved a total of 4 probands. All of these probands signed an informed consent to undertake the research, which is available for inspection by the author of this thesis, as well as the consent of the riding club in which the probands ride. The research begins with a questionnaire and baseline examination to help determine the muscular imbalances that are present in the riders. Based on these examinations, an appropriate exercise unit was then designed and its effect was further monitored. Two exercise units were actually designed. The main exercise unit was designed for home-based exercise, which probands performed at least 4 times a week. The secondary exercise unit was aimed directly at the pre- and post-riding periods. The designed exercise unit consisted of a total of 12 exercises that focused primarily on activating the HSSP, stretching shortened muscles, and strengthening weakened muscles. The research lasted for two months, during which time the probands underwent a total of 4 exercise unit checks. The conclusion of the thesis and the discussion summarises all the findings that have been identified through this undergraduate research. The thesis can be useful as a source of information for all hobby riders and physiotherapists who encounter this issue.
Využití postarání terapie na zlepšení držení těla a stability v golfovém švihu u mladých golfistů
LUŇÁČKOVÁ, Johana
This thesis deals with posture and stability in young golfers and how these aspects can be influenced. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to create a kinesiotherapy unit that incorporates elements from postural therapy to influence posture and stability in young golfers as well as the elements influencing postural function, which was another aim of the thesis. Another aim was to evaluate the effects of the therapy and compare the results based on the entry and exit kinesiological examination. In the theoretical part, the postural system, postural function, movement control and the information about golf are described as well as the physiotherapy methods that were used in this thesis. The practical part describes the research methods and case studies of four probands from the Golf Club Týn nad Vltavou. The work includes comparative photographs taken before and after the therapy and examples of exercises used in the kinesiotherapy unit. Initial results of the study show the poor posture, lack of stability and weakened postural functions are present in these young golfers. When comparing the entry and exit examination data, all probands showed improvement in all studied aspects after completing the 8-week exercise program therefore these results could be influenced by the suggested therapy. In the future, this work could be used by coaches as an inspiration for creating the training plan.

Rochowanská, Markéta ; Křivánková, Markéta (advisor) ; Hošková, Blanka (referee)
Title: Influence of trunk stabilization training on non-specific back pain in extra-league volleyball players Objectives: Influence of non-specific back pain of extra-league volleyball player through torso stabilization training according to the method of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization. Methods: This is a qualitative case study research. The research uses the Young Spine Questionnaire, anamnesis, static and dynamic assessment of posture, examination of shortened and weakened muscles, testing of the deep stabilization system and the exercise of the compensation program. Results: Exercise according to the DNS concept (for 12 weeks) had a positive effect on the removal of back pain in the neck, chest and lumbar region. It increased the strength of the core stabilization and thus positively affected the position of the body in individual developmental positions. As part of the correction of posture and elimination of muscle imbalances, exercise according to the DNS concept (for 12 weeks) had a positive effect on the position of the body in the pelvis and torso. Exercise had no significant effect on the position of the remaining body segments. Keywords: Dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, case study, posture, deep stabilization system of the spine, corrective exercises.

Vojtěchovská, Tereza ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Šťastný, Petr (referee)
Title: Influence of activation of the deep stabilization system of the spine on speed of shot in ice hockey players Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to clarify whether the excercise focused on the deep stabilization system of the spine affects the quality on its function and the speed of shot in ice hockey players. Methods: The theoretical part is developed in the form of research. In the practical part, is 26 male probands who participated in this experiment. In the initial measurement, the speed of shot with a puck into the goal, was measured with a special radar in all players and the quality of the deep stabilization system was looked into by 8 tests according to Kolář. Furthermore, they were randomly divided into experimental and control groups, while the experimental group underwent a physiotherapeutic intervention focused on the deep stabilization system of the spine for 3 months, while the control group underwent only regular hockey training. After the intervention, the measurement was performed again in the same way. The obtained values from the checkups and measurements were registered to Microsoft Office Excel 2021 and further statistically processed for which the Shapiro-Wilk normality test was used to determine the distribution of data. The parametric T-test was used in case of...

Novák, Dalibor ; Tlapák, Petr (advisor) ; Čech, Zdeněk (referee)
In the present work we compare the effectiveness of therapy in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain (CNLBP) using classical analytical strengthening and strengthening program based on principles of physiotherapy techniques that focus on the stabilization of the spine and are used in the treatment CNLBP. The experiment included a total of 14 patients diagnosed with CNLBP who were divided into two groups (n = 7), each of who underwent a 12-week training either classical or physiotherapy conceived strengthening. As for the evaluated parameters, we chose the size and quality of pain (visual analogue scale and Short Form McGill Pain Questionnaire), restrictions in daily life in relation to LBP (Oswestry Disability Index); we tried to capture a change in the stabilizing muscle function by using a collection of tests according to Kolar (2006). The evaluation took place at the beginning and after the program and then at intervals of six months. The results showed that there was a statistically significant improvement in both groups in the monitored parameters. The difference in results in pain intensity and functional limitations in life when comparing the two groups showed statistically insignificant. Both the groups of patients improved their score in the evaluation of the stabilizing functions of...
