Application for display wireless network model
Žoldoš, Petr ; Mráz, Ľubomír (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The first step of Master's thesis was to gain knowledge about technologies Adobe Flex SDK and Google Maps API. Knowledge was used to develop an application, which let users create, generate and modify graphical wireless network model. Position and characteristics of each single unit are monitored either in a map interface or in building plans. Dates are gathered from forms filled by current user, from external file or periodically from connected database system. Theoretical part enlightens technologies that were used. It describes program development and solutions, which were made, along with examples of the source code. Included are printscreens of graphical user interface as well as description of how does it all work.
Application for Tracking Devices for Windows Phone OS
Pupák, Juraj ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This application deals with recording of position about phone devices with help of system GPS. The application is implemented for platform Windows Phone 7.5. The Application allows to create profiles, which are evaluated with recorded positions. The evaluation is made through 2 points with Haversine formula. The theoretical part of thesis deals with technologies and GPS system, the practical part deals with design and implementation.
Geographic location of PlanetLab servers
Iľko, Pavol ; Balej, Jiří (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This thesis deals with accuracy of location of nodes in experimental network PlanetLab. Thesis is devided into a theoretical and a practical part. Theoretical part consists of the description of network PlanetLab, its brief history and current projects. At the same time, Google Maps framework, which is later employed in the practical part, is described. Practical part describes the functionality of the application aimed at validation of location accuracy. Nextly, the application measuring latency of node to SSH is also described, as well as the map which contains PlanetLab nodes located in Europe. Applications and obtained data are attached on CD disk.
Journey Planning System
Vrba, Bohumil ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Ruttkay, Ladislav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis covers design and developing of web application which serves for planning itinerary. I use Google Maps technogy to display and plan the journies. The thesis describes applied technology especially ASP.NET, database system MS SQL Server and Google map system. It is also dedicated to requirements specification, their registration with the help of language UML and design of data model. It is devoted to the implementation of aplication with an emphasis on used architecture.
Multi-platform development of geolocation application
Pinkava, Marek ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Pospíšil, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with development possibilities of multi-platform geolocation applications using modern web technologies. The introduction is offered a summary of available mobile platforms development opportunities for them. Follows the description of web technologies suitable for application development. Another chapter is devoted with methods of geolocation and their possibilities and limitations. After is described the implementation a specific application of selected technologies. The outcome of this thesis is fully working multiplatform application developed in order to help students to easy navigation between important places of faculty.
Web Application for Longboard Routes Mapping
Jedlička, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Bambušek, David (advisor)
The gole of this thesis is creating web application with database of longboard routes, which will allow users to find the nearest places suitable for this sport, or add their own route with its description. Framework Google Maps API is used for displaying the map and routes.
Photography Geotagging Application
Pavelková, Alena ; Přibyl, Bronislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes photography geotagging -- finding and storing their position. There are mentioned several differed ways to geotag photos and explained related terms and needed technologies. Furthermore, there are introduced some existing applications for photography geotagging and described design and selected implementation problems of application created as part of this thesis. This application enables to geotag photos as a result of synchronization with route in GPX format or using map. There is described GUI, its parts and connections between them, used tools, and solutions to some problems.
Location tracking via GPS
Stříteský, Jan ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
The presented thesis deals with the subject of tracking via GPS and focuses on possibilities of the practical implementation of user tracking system with the help of mobile end user devices. The introductory theoretical part shortly describes the properties and history of the GPS navigation system. It outlines possible development of end user mobile applications on the level of operating systems and mobile web applications. The final theoretical part provides a short outline of properties of tacking systems available in the Czech market. The primary aim of the thesis was to create an application which would enable the tracking of user position via GPS. The practical part describes the selected solution as well as the individual parts of the designed tracking system. The resulting system allows to record and track user position determined by a mobile phone with an integrated GPS module. The systems also enables the creation of user groups, tracking their routes and visualization of the given position or entire route on a map.
Mobile Application for Sports Activities
Hlipala, Ľuboš ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes a creation of a mobile application that aims to reach users with a common interest in sport and to provide them with a suitable platform for sharing this hobby. An implemented system consists of the mobile application for Android platform and especially designed application server, offers a creation of a user community, whose members can share information about their sport activities or create new sport events. This work also enlightens logic and approaches of the system creation process using Android SDK, Java and MySQL database.
Tour Routes Sharing Server
Mikula, Adrian ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Kajan, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes design and implementation of the application which can share hiking routes between several users. Thesis also explains related terms and technologies used during the implementation. Final application can present routes including all avaiable informations visualized by using multiple map canvases. Routes can be searched by various criterias, merged and exported into KML files. The system uses functions of extension PostGIS of the PostgreSQL database, algorythm of the Haversine's formula and some own algorithms.
