Bělíková, Kristýna ; Majorová, Simona (advisor) ; Hošková, Blanka (referee)
1 Abstract Title: Effect of physical exercise during pregnancy to diafragma pelvis Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to point out the influence of the appropriately chosen regular exercise during pregnancy on the state of the pelvic floor, especially after childbirth. Methods: Six selected probands, first-time mothers, aged 29-34 completed a four- month exercise plan that was specifically prepared for pregnant women. During the exercise, they communicated their feelings, and these were reported in the case reports. The pelvic floor was evaluated by an ultrasound examination after the childbirth. The ultrasound examination was performed by professional staff at the ÚPMD at 6 weeks, 6 months, and 12 months postpartum. The mothers provided me with their documentations from the individual examinations. Further, the interviews were conducted with individual probands, where anamnesis was taken using questions, and subjective feelings were ascertained not only during exercise, but also during and after the childbirth. The questions were aimed at experiences associated with the pelvic floor. Results: All probands completed the exercise program in its entirety. According to the ultrasound examinations, three mothers gave birth without any injuries in the area of pelvic floor and had no abnormal findings on the...
The influence of the menstrual cycle on eating habits and the need for sports activities
Jelínková, Karolína ; Jaklová Dytrtová, Jana (advisor) ; Šteffl, Michal (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the influence of the menstrual-ovulatory cycle on the diet and physical condition of women. Countless studies in the field of training deal only with the male population, as the cyclicality of women is a complex and still not sufficiently researched topic. Because changes in hormone levels further cause various changes and reactions in tissues and organs, it is necessary to take into account the cyclicality of women in sports training, diet or other areas. Fluctuations in hormonal levels also cause psychological and emotional changes. In this work, a search is made of suitable studies together with known facts on this topic. The first part includes the description of the cycle itself and the second part the analysis of generally known nutritional recommendations. Thus, it cannot be assumed that women's activity is unchanged throughout the menstrual-ovulatory cycle. We created a table that monitors the sleep, diet, drinking regime, physical activity and emotions of women during the day, throughout the menstrual / ovulatory cycle. These elements are important for further research into female variability. It is important for women to understand their cycle, as it has an impact on the overall functioning of the body. During the cycle, changes were detected in...

Title: Weight modification through workout plans Aim: To determine how active lifestyle affects weight, fitness, physiological parameters (percentage of body fat, body water percentage, blood pressure) of individuals of different age and sex groups with no previous sports experience Method: The study will be carried out on healthy individuals, in four major age groups (20 - 35, 36 - 50, 51 - 65, 66 - 80). Both male and female individuals shall be monitored. All of them shall take part in a two-month work out plan, which will include both physical fitness training and muscle imbalance correction, as well as active and passive rest, while living a healthy lifestyle. Results: The result is a list of workout plans and their subsequent evaluation. Whether condition improved, weight and fitness. Conclusion: The success of intervention depends on the cooperation, time availability, but especially on the actual realization of the suggested work out plans. Keywords: Physical fitness, body fat percentage, body water percentage, body weight, nutrition, muscle imbalance, heart rate
Muscle metabolism and its effect on physical condition in patients with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis
Brůhová, Zuzana ; Mahrová, Andrea (advisor) ; Táborský, Petr (referee)
Title: Muscle metabolism and its effect on physical condition in patients with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis Objective: Assess the status of muscle metabolism in patients starting hemodialysis and patients receiving hemodialysis long time, to determine some changes in muscle metabolism in both groups in the time period and ultimately assess its impact on physical condition and quality of life of hemodialysis patients. Method: Fill anamnestic questionnaire and examination of body composition using bioimpedence device (BCM) in the group of patients with chronic renal failure who are beginning to be treated with hemodialysis and a group of patients treated with hemodialysis for several years. Compare the results of both groups. To obtain additional information from medical records. Results: It was found that hemodialysis therapy affects the status of muscle metabolism in terms of reducing muscle mass (LTM). The dependence of LTM, however, the duration of hemodialysis treatment assays. The study showed that if patients are nutritionally stable and regularly engaged in some physical activity, loss of muscle mass is lower than in individuals who have a passive way of life. Keywords: chronic renal failure, hemodilysis, muscle metabolism, physical condition
Fitness training for individuals after spinal lesion
Mandát, Marek ; Vařeková, Jitka (advisor) ; Pavlová, Ilona (referee)
Title: Fitness training for individuals after spinal lesion Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to monitor the influence of physical intervention in the form of fitness training on body composition and movement performance of individuals after spinal lesion. Methods: In the framework of a quantitative and qualitative research study, four subjects after the spinal lesion who are participating in the reconditioning stay at the Paraple Center were observed in case studies. Among the selected subjects were three males and one female, three of them with paraplegia and one with tetraplegia in the range C 6 - Th 6. The average subject age was 41.5 years (24 - 74). Except for one individual, all showed moderate overweight and decreased exercise activity in everyday life outside the research. Research methodology consisted of one month intervention in the form of individually adjusted fitness training. In order to set up the intervention and to evaluate the effect, the following methods were used for input and output testing: observation, assessment of body composition using the Bodystat instrument and evaluation of exercise performance by measurements on a rowing and cross- country trainer where the mileage was monitored. Results: All subjects attained a slight improvement in body composition in...
Performance dispositions for women's sports training
Satrapová, Pavla ; Buzek, Mario (advisor) ; Vaidová, Eva (referee)
The abstract The present thesis is written as a summarizing study. The principal goal of the thesis is to summarize available scientific studies, researches and information concerning women's football. The studies of domestic and foreign academic prose, foreign theses and scientific studies found in the databases of scientific articles (SPORTDiscuss, Google Scholar, Web of Science) are included in the content. It was shown that there are many studies and scientific articles abroad in this field and it is the reason for categorizing individual fields. The studies dealing with the ACL injuries among women frequently appear in the databases. Nearly all the results dealing with this topic agreed that women are more susceptible to this kind of injury. Some of many reasons proved gender differences in skills in kicking the ball with the front instep and differences in the implementation of various physical activities which became subjects of research. Further the study demonstrated differences between men and women in the field of condition not only on the basis of anatomic and physiological differences. Different approach to application of training methods for women in the field of condition appeared as an important factor. Other area of research was performance in motor tests which proved unequal. Finally,...
The influence of extrinsic motivation on physical condition in lung transplant candidates
Jordáková, Magdalena ; Babková, Lenka (advisor) ; Procházka, Michal (referee)
Rehabilitation takes an important part in the care for lung transplant candidates with chronic lung disease. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes current knowledge about motivation and adherence to rehabilitation, about telerehabilitation options (telemonitoring physical activity using pedometer), and their use in lung transplant candidates. In the practical part it was investigated whether extrinsic motivation (education, pedometer, communication with physiotherapist via e-mail) leads to an improvement in the six-minute walking test outcome (6MWD) or in adherence to rehabilitation in lung transplant candidates. It was found no statistically significant improvement in 6MWD nor in adherence to rehabilitation in extrinsically motivated patients waiting for a lung transplant. However, data suggested increasing trend of 6MWD after intervention.
