Pokorná, Jitka ; Janošová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Syslová, Hana (referee)
In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis I dealt with the analysis of social adaptation of students with disabilities in high school with a special focus. I was interested in factors related to this issue. I tried to point out the possible pros and cons of involving these students in a special high school environment. I also pointed out the risk factors in the educational needs and limits of students with specific types of disabilities. The thesis also contains some recommendations for a suitable educational approach. The practical part contains research that was conducted qualitatively. For this purpose I chose the method of semi-structured interviews with nine respondents (students of one class from high school with a special focus), the age range of students was 18-28 years. I believe that thanks to the chosen procedure I had the opportunity to find out in more detail how students with disabilities subjectively perceive the environment in which they study, how they perceive ties in the class team, what support they see in their teachers and how they perceive the educational process at this particular school. Also where do students see possible obstacles or shortcomings and how they perceive evaluation (classic form of marking). The results of the interviews showed that students with...

The content of this work also deals, for example, with the correct compilation of class rules, which contribute to the creation of a confidential and relaxed atmosphere in the class team, in which students are not afraid to speak and cooperate. Furthermore, the work clarifies why and how class classes should be held and what topics are appropriate to include in their thematic plans. The main goal of the thesis is to find out whether the classroom classes contribute to the creation of a safe and relaxed environment at the Elementary School Zdice u Berouna. To verify this goal, I will use qualitative methods, namely structured observation of students' groups during class classes and structured interviews. Both qualitative methods take place on the grounds of Zdice Elementary School. They will conduct interviews with teachers who hold regular classroom classes and with selected pupils with whom their teachers practice these classes. Two different sets of...

This MA thesis deals with the text analysis of the Song of Roland. The text analysis focuses in detail on the formal, content, narrative and symbolic aspects of the Song of Roland. All those features are in the context of the literary and historical frame. The Song of Roland is one of the oldest literary pieces of French literature. It is the most famous heroic song belonging to the "Chanson de geste" and it was created in the 11th century. The main characters of the heroic poem are Charles the great, his nephew Roland, loyal friend Olivier, traitor Galeon and pagan king Marsil. The Song of Roland explores not only the family and friend relations, but the important topics are also betrayal and desire for fortune and glory. The Song deals with the matter of faith being asserted in the way which is typical for the middle ages. The story, which takes part in Spain, where the French have been besieging the pagan fort of Zaragoza for seven years, is very interesting from the historical aspects, but were more interested in the narrative - textual aspects, in which we tried to explore the relationships between the narrators. We focused on individual speeches, who speaks to whom and in which way. We asked ourselves three questions, which we have gradually answered. For the need of an analysis of individual speech...

The Master thesis here presented opens the theme of spirituality and its role in the lives of people with learning disabilities. Its subtitle "searching for meaning of life" shows that the term spirituality contains a variety of different possibilities which lead to the feeling of fulfilment, satisfaction, joy etc. Feelings which last not only for a moment, but stay present despite the disabilities the everyday life may bring. The community of l'Arche represents one of the places where the life of people with learning disabilities together with people without this type of handicap is possible and where they all can perceive the uniqueness and enrichment of their common life. Moreover, this lived experience very often answers the question for the meaning of life. The aim of this Master thesis is to discover the specificity or "the spirit" of the community of l'Arche, mainly by the words of its members with learning disabilities.
